Here the Keeper Teacher will help train any members that are having problems with their Quidditch position.

Please welcome your new Keeper Teacher Professor ALICE CULLEN. Make sure you guys follow her rules.

I help in assisting Professor ALICE CULLEN every now again. So please respect her the way you would respect me. Thanks

Hi! Welcome to the first keeper training yet! If you wish to join, simply start posting you do not need to sign up!
I will be allocating points on:
-how well you play the position
-how much you know about the position
-how detailed/developed your posts are

At the end of training you will be given a score out of 50 points, marked on the above things. I will also be asking some quodditch related questions and they will be worth 5 points each per correct anwer!

there are a few rules, however. You must not disrespect any person in the class, always congradulate on a job well done and have fun!

Alice approached the pitch, nervous as this was her first time ever as a teacher. She hoped some students would come so she could teach the about quidditch! Once she approached the field, she saw that no one was there yet so she sat down to wait for the students while thinking up a lesson plan.

Ziggy approached 'Proffessor' Alice and greeted her. 'Hey Alice, Can I join your keeper training?' Ziggy asked her.

Rachel walked hesitantly towards the Keeper Training. She was a Chaser by nature, but had tried out Beating and had liked it, so she had decided she might as well try Keeping as well. She knew at least she could catch the Quaffle, so maybe she'd also have some talent at blocking it as well.

She felt better when she saw the girl she knew from Chaser Training. As she walked up to her to say hello, she noticed another student greeting her as if she was the teacher. Feeling slightly nervous again, she stopped her advanced and merely smiled. "I'm happy to give Keeping a try too."

'Hey Rachel! Hi Ziggy!' Alice greeted her friends that were now her students! 'I'm reserve keeper for Ravenclaw so Herby asked me to teach this class! So, down to business. Do you both know the basics of Quidditch? Like the positions, balls ect?' Alice asked her class.

"I do, well the basic basics anyway," Ziggy replied turning to Rachel, she smiled nervously, afraid she would miss or drop the quaffle alot. Although Ziggy knew the theory, she wasnt the most confident flier when catching quaffles. That was why she prefered beater. Whacking balls with a stick.

'Okay, good' Alice said, turning to Rachel. Alice was fairly sure Rachel played chaser for Huflepuff, but wasnt 100% sure so she thought she should wait for an answer anyhow. While she was waiting, she began to think of some of the questions she would ask.

Pamela jogged down toward the pitch. She didn't really have a desire to play keeper, but she thought it would be wise to be well-versed.

"I hope I'm not late, professor. I'm Pamela," she said.

'No, not late', Alice replied with a smile,'We werent sure if anyone else would turn up so we started a little early'. Alice remembered Pamela from her first ever chaser training. 'I was just asking everyone if they were fairly confident in the rules of Quidditch', Alice told her. ALice knew Pamela was more than confident, having watched her seek for Griffendor but decided it was polite to ask anyway so she added, 'Are you fairly attuned to Quidditch rules?'

"I have a pretty thorough understanding of the rules," Pamela replied. "I just would like to learn the position just in case Gryffindor ever needs a keeper. And I think it's good for a player to understand each position, so they can make the job easier for their teammates."

Pamela found it interesting that she would be taught by someone she had trained alongside of. She thought Alice would be an excellent professor and was excited for Alice that she got the position. Maybe eventually she would consider applying for a teaching position herself.

'Hey Pamela, I'm Ziggy", Ziggy greeted the new student, " I toatally agree with you though. None of us Slytherins bother to learn to be a keeper cause Rastlin will always be keeper. But I say, the boy will get sick someday!"

"It's nice to meet you, Ziggy," Pamela said with a smile. She held out her hand in greeting. She didn't know a whole lot of Slytherins, and thought it would be a good time to start changing that.

Alice smiled, at least some students could get past all that interhouse rivalry. 'So, seeing as everyone has a basic understanding of the rules, I'll be asking some simple questions about quidditch, some will be about the actual game and others will be about the RPG version. Each corectly answered question will earn you 5 points. Ready, okay then. First Question: How many feet hight are the hopps the keeper blocks?' Alice asked.

Pamela stood there for a minute. She was drawing a complete blank. Then it came to her--or at least she hoped. "Aren't they fifty feet tall?" she asked.

'Correct Pamela! 5 points to you!' Alice said, congradulating her, 'Now, I'll randomly ask questions during training so be prepared! But now, lets get some practical training done. I'll play chaser and you guys can take turns playing keeper, okay? Who wants to go first?'

Ziggy was slightly alarmed at being asked to keep so quickly so she said 'Not me, I'll watch the first few people". She looked at Pamela and Rachel, hoping one of them would volenteer.

Kate Ran onto the pitch as fast as she could with her firebolt in hand. She hoped that she was not to late.

"Hello. I am here to do the Keeper Training. I hope I am not too late." She looked apprehensively at the others standing around her.

Waiting for an answer she looked up at the pitch.

"I'm Kate by the way."

"I'd rather watch first, actually, if that's okay with everyone." Rachel replied. "I'm a bit...well, really, new to Keeping, so I think it would be better for me to see someone else do it first." She took a few steps back and turned to smile at Kate.

Alice greeted Kate and saw pamela was ready to try and keep. As she flew up into the air she shouted at the students, 'Another 5 point question: In RPG quidditch, who says whether a chasers shot goes in?' Alice had decided to ask the easier questions first.

"I think the Keeper is the one who said whether a chaser shot goes in, but if the keeper doesn't say it in 3 post, the chaser will be the one who said whether the shot goes in or not." Ishida shout from the other side of the filed and he quickly arrive at the place where many student are located in. As he arrived, he said tiredly "Sorry about the lateness, I just got back from the hospital wing after healing my duelling injuries"

Kate watched intently as Pamela zoomed into the sky. She only hoped that she would not make a fool of herself.

'Correct Ishida! Ready Pamela?'. Without waiting for an anwer, Alice flew towards Pamela with the quaffle held tightly under her right arm. Most of the students had said they were new to keeping so Alice decided she would start with an easy-ish save. Alice flew towards the left post but quickly aimed at the right one. Alice turned to see if Pamela had saved it. Alice thought Pamela was probably the most expenienced keeper here, so this should be an easy save for her.

Pamela was hovering in front of the middle post, when Alice started toward her. Alice began to go toward the left, so Pamela followed the direction. It was a fake, and she threw it toward the right goal post. Pamela urged her broom in the correct direction and managed, barely, to save it. She had actually fallen for something she had herself done in Chaser training sessions. At least I saved it, she thought as she tossed the quaffle back to Alice.

Alice watched as Pamela fell for her fake and for a second, Alice thought that it would go in. But mircauloulously, Pamela darted infront of the quaffle and saved the goal. 'Excellent save pamela. It takes a great keeper to realise that they are making a mistake halfway through and recover quickly enough to fix that mistake,' Alice complimented her. 'Another 5 point question: In RPG Quidditch, when can the snitch be caught?' Alice looked around, waiting for an answer.

Ginny stepped forward, feeling a combination of bravery and foolhardedness. "I'll go next." she said, squaring her shoulders in what she hoped was a not ridiculous gesture

"Um..." Ginny bit her lip, not really understanding a question. "The lines that surround the pitch, which is 500 feet long and 180 feet wide?"

'Correct", Alice said. She waited until Ginny was guarding the hoops before picking up the Quaffle and mounting her broom. When she was level with the goal hoops, she sat on her broomstick, thinking of what she should do. Alice looked towards the hoops and leaned down flat on her broom, flying very fast towards the middle hoop. At the last moment, again, alice chanded aim and went for the left hoop. As soon as she had let go of the Quaffle she stoped her broom and looked to see if Ginny had made the save.

Kate stood watching Ginny trying to save the goal wondering whether or not she would save it. I think I may try next. She thought to herself.

Ginny girded herself for whatever Alice would throw at her. She felt slightly nervous as she headed at her at top speed, and tried very hard to remain still. However, in her stubbornness to remain still, she was left off guard. A split second too late, she lunged for the quaffle. It didn't go through, but she didn't manage to catch it. Instead it slipped through the tips of her fingers and was knocked to the side.

Alice watched and saw Ginny lunge for the quaffle and miss. However, because of Alice's concentration on speed, her aim was slightly off so it didnt go through the hoops anyway. 'Bad luck Ginny,' Alice called to her, 'Who wants to go next?"

"OK. I'm ready." She said. Butterflies swarming around in her tummy.

Alice flew up into the air and faced Kate who was gaurding the goal hoops. Alice watched Kate and quickly noted that she looked nervous. Alice quickly thought up a scoring tactic, but waited for a few more seconds so Kate could physic herself up. Alice flew forward at a moderate speed, towards the right goal hoop. She kept taking quick glances at the left hoop however, trying to trick Kate into thinking that she was aiming for the left hoop. This tactic had an even greater chance of sucsess because of the fact Alice had feinted one way and shot the other every time so far in the training. When Alice was within range, she quickly threw the quaffle towards the right hoop and watched Kate attempt the save.

Kate watched carefully and realized after a few seconds that Alice was doing a fake shot. She almost had no time to catch it but she did a trick move and got it when it was around 1/2 a meter away from going in. "YES!" She shouted. "I got it!".

''Nice work, Kate!'' Alice congratulated her, ''But in a real game, it will be alot harder. I'm a pretty sucky chaser but if you play for you house, you'll be up agaist people who really know what they are doing''.
Alice noticed that Ziggy was ready to try her hand at keeping. ''You ready Ziggy? A 5point question: After the quidditch thread has been open, on what day can you start post for PLAYING the game, not just prepareing ect. ?'' Alice asked the group.

''Umm... I will if thats okay'', Ziggy gulped as she picked up her broomstick. She looked around to make sure nobody else wanted to go before flying up to the goal posts and readying herself for whatever Alice had in store for her.

Alice saw Ziggy fly up to the hoops, ready for her turn at keeping. Alice quickly flew up with the quaffle in hand and flew at Ziggy. Alice hadn't as yet decided what to do, she realised to late as she started flying. Making a snappy decision, she quickly lobed the ball at the right hoop. It wasnt a hard save, but Ziggy didnt play keeper so perhaps Alice's indecision had been a good thing. She watch as her sister attempted to stop the bright red ball from entering the hoop.

Ziggy was tacken by supprise at how quickly Alice flew towards her. Ziggy hated the sudden pressure and lunged at the bright red ball but missed the easy save.
