Just for fun, take four of the Potions listed below and write an account of what happens when one of these potions finds its way into the hands of a muggle.

Part One

Write a brief essay explaining the potion you have choosen, what does it do, what does it look like, what are the side effects? (300 word minimum) 40 points each.

Part Two

Now you must find a way for your chosen potion to find its way into an unsuspecting Muggle's hands. Does your Muggle use it on his/herself, or on another unprepared Muggle? (200 word minimum) 20 points each.

Extra Credit

Post a picture of whar you think your muggle will look like once they have taken the potion. 10 points total.

Part One:

An Aging Potion does what its name states: it ages the drinker. The amount of potion drunk is equal to the amount the drinker will age (i.e. a small vial: a few months; a full cauldron: many many years). The effects of this potion are merely physical, not mental or emotional, and can be swiftly reversed by drinking the antidote. However, if the antidote is not available, the drinker will be stuck in his or her new (or should I say old?) form until the antidote arrives. The potion is a dull gray in color, and, once consumed, is active immediately.

Part Two:

Allen Richardson had escaped from the family gathering unnoticed. With nearly their entire extended family squeezed into the Richardson’s main floor and overflowing down to the basement, going unnoticed wasn’t that great a feat. The annual get-together during winter break meant a number of things: presents, a bunch of small talk with various relatives who knew who he was and he hadn’t a clue who they were, and that his sister was home from her “magic school.” Yeah, his older sister was a witch, and apparently he and his twin had missed out on the magic gene. Sneaking along the second floor hallway to Elana’s room, Allen grinned mischievously. As she was busy catching up with family, she surely wouldn’t notice if he took a look at what she had brought back.

His hand hovered over the doorknob – would she have put some spell on it, or something? He would have to take the risk, for anything was better than going back down empty-handed to his brother Aaron who was busy keeping people away from the stairs. Allen clasped the handle and turned it – the door slid open effortlessly, and seemingly without alerting Elana. But in fact, she had put a spell on it, and a charm on her necklace suddenly turned ice cold against her skin. She scowled, and politely excused herself from her conversation with an overly worried great aunt who was concerned that she wasn’t spending enough time at home. She made her way through the crowd to the stairway, and as she was about to take a step up, Aaron intercepted her.

“Whacha doing?” he asked, blocking the way.

“Forgot something up in my room,” she replied, glaring at him. “Move!”

“What’d you forget?” he inquired, not moving.

Elana, thoroughly annoyed, deepened her glare while his smile broadened.

Meanwhile, Allen had dumped out his sister’s schoolbag on the floor and was digging through the contents. He tossed aside parchment, quills, ink, books, and other almost normal objects until he found it – her wand. Laughing, he slid it up his sleeve, and was about to leave when a shiny something caught his eye. It was a large test-tube like object full of a dull gray…potion? Not believing his luck, Allen snatched it and stuck it in his pocket before hurriedly putting everything back into her bag and leaving the room. He quickly closed the door and ran into the room he shared with his brother, deposited the wand and potion into their fish tank filled with junk instead of fish (long story short: fish didn’t seem to like the Richardson home), and went to the top of the stairs. He motioned frantically for Aaron’s attention, waving him up.

Spotting him, Aaron seemed to fly up the stairs in his hurry, leaving behind the enraged Elana. She tore up after him, and ran into her room and began searching through her schoolbag, trying to find out what was missing so she could yell at her brothers correctly. In the boys’ room, Aaron was wildly waving the wand while Allen swirled the potion about.

“What d’you think?” asked Allen. “Wanna try it out?”

“Sure!” said Aaron, who wasn’t having any success in the wand waving department. Allen uncorked the tube and gulped down half of it. Aaron took the tube and drank the rest. Both boys unexpectedly felt their hair lengthen and saw it turn gray, felt their skin turn frail and their faces sag and wrinkle, and when they cried out, their voices had skipped the awkward stage of cracking and had gone through mature to…old and tired. At that moment, Elana burst into the room, enraged.

“You took my wand! And my Potions assignment!” She paused, taking in the look of them – two identical old men standing in the middle of the room. Letting out an exasperated groan, she continued, “You drank my Potions assignment?!”

Four days later…

“Aaron, where’s my hot cocoa?”

“Coming!”

Into her room came her brother – restored to his youth, but now forced to obey Elana’s every whim until she finished brewing the potion again. Allen came up the stairs after him with the blanket she had requested. Smiling, Elana took the mug and blanket and curled up with a book to the astonishment of her brothers.

“Don’t you have the potion to finish?” asked Allen.

“The Aging Potion?” she said innocently. “I finished that three days ago – just thought you two needed to learn your lesson. Just one day of servitude wouldn’t have done the trick.”

(That was so fun to write :D Silly brothers, hehehe.)

Part One: I have chosen the Polyjuice Potion. Polyjuice Potion is brown and murky like a swamp, but it changes colors depending on the person. In the books, it was said that Crabbe and Goyal’s were a yellow is bogger like. It must be taken every hour or it will wear off like in the 4Th book with Crouch. But Harry’s was a golden color, but yet it has a horrible taste to it. Some side effects are: 1. If not an human DNA, the human DNA and whatever other DNA crossover and you are part human and whatever the other DNA is. 2. Sickness. 3. If not made right, you could be deformed or have swellings and be hurt really bad.

Part Two: An auror was investigating a muggle killings when a container fell out of his pocket. After he left, a group of teenage boys found it in the building. Being curious, the boys picked it up and decided to see if it was alcohol. One of the boys opened it and smelled it. It was an horrible smell but they didn’t care. One of the guys were biting their nails, as the others were looking for cups. When one finally did find cups, the one biting his nails, spit it out and it just happens to go into a cup. Well as they were drinking it, the boy of drank the one with the finger nail in there transformed into to other guy. Frighten, they ran away fro the building. The next day, they decided to try it again, but on another muggle. This was one of their enemies, more like geeks, and decided to transform them into a dog. While looking for the dog, the others got the boy and brought hi down to the building where they found it out. They held the boy down and forced the potion into his mouth, after it had turned black. As they waited, the boy started twitching. After what seemed hours, the boy was finally part dog and human. The boys who did that to him had ran off, scared that they had killed him and didn’t want to be blamed for it. A wizard, who was checking for more Death Eaters in the area, happen to see him and rushed over. Alerting the Ministry, he took the boy to St. Mungos. The healers took him to the closes room and tried to change the effects. As they were doing that, the auror contacted his parents. His parents were disappointed that someone had decided to play a joke on them, until they were shown a picture of what had happen and went with him. The boy was knocked out cold for what seemed hours, When he woke up, everyone asked who did it and what happen. After he told them what they done, the Ministry found the boys and had them under lock down. When they confessed to what they did, they would be let go. After three hours, they confessed. The Ministry had to decide rather they were going to trail them or erase their memories. They went back to St. Mungos and erase the boy’s memory. After talking to his parents, they did the same to them to. They talked to the boys and asked were they found it and they told him. After erasing their memories, he went back to the Ministry and asked who was there last night. Discovering it was a new auror, he was suspended for a month for causing harm to a muggle and leaving wizard materials in the presents of a muggle. The boys were returned home, with no memory of what happen nor did the parents.

part one:
veritaserum, is one of the most powerful of all truth potions. just three drops of this potion is said to make the drinker spill his or her innermost secrets. it is said that the potions takes about a month to mature. the use of this potion is controlled by strict ministry guidelines. snape told harry in the GoF that he knew him and his friends were making polyjuice potion an d that harry had taken gillyweed out of his store, and threatened harry with veritaserum. he is also instucted by dumbledore to use it on barty crouch jr. in the GoF and it is used by umbridge on the students in the OotP. the potion is tasteless, odorless, and in all other accounts unnoticeable, so that it is easily detected. the only known side effect is that people may go on spilling there deepest secrets if it doesn't wear off right away.

part two:
torren was home for christmas break, she had almost completely forgotten about school as she unpacked some of her luggage. she pulled some clothes out and stored them in her closet for now, it would be nice to have access to her full wardrobe for a month. she was unpacking her books when she stumbled upon a little vile of veritaserum. she took it out and looked at it, she didn’t even know she had brought this with her. no matter, it would aide her, she had wanted to use it on her parents because she often felt like they favored her muggle cousin more than her. torren was adopted, so she often felt like she was distanced from the family, no matter how much they told her they loved her. it always seemed like they favored her cousin, allysen, over her. it was time to find out the truth, so tonight she would offer to make tea, and slip a little into one of her foster parent’s tea, since she only needed one confession.
that night, allysen, who was just a year older than torren came visiting with her boyfriend. she had insisted on coming to see her cousin, whom she thought was always away at a private school. torren had no idea why, or why she had brought her muggle boyfriend along either. there was a quite a discussion going on about how allysen had met her boyfriend; torren stayed very removed. she often felt as though she was being watched, and once glanced over to spot allysen’s boyfriend looking at her. he looked away when she saw him, torren thought nothing of it.
“i’ll go make us some tea, shall i?” torren asked. everyone nodded at torren. she slipped away into the kitchen and made the tea. as the tea finished torren poured it into cups and put them on a tray, then she took out the vile containing the veritaserum and carefully poured it into one of the tea cups. she took the tray out to the party, but before she got it over to one of her foster parents her cousins boyfriend took a cup. torren hoped that he hadn’t gotten the cup with the veritaserum. she passed out the rest of the tea and sat drinking hers. when all the tea was gone. the conversation was normal for a little bit. phew ,torren thought, perhaps she hadn’t made it right.
just then, allysen’s boyfriend jumped out of his seat and walked over to torren. “torren, i’ve been watching you all night,” he said from out of no where, “I can’t help it, it think you’re really cute, will you go out with me?” he asked. torren stood looking in disbelief, he had obviously gotten the veritaserum. torren’s mouth was agape for a few seconds until allysen chimed in.
“have you forgotten, you’re dating me?” she asked him angrily.
“i try to on most occasions,” he told her earnestly. it was clear to torren now, that it was very strong on muggles. she needed to make an antidote fast, or he might never stop. he turned back to torren, and grabbed her hand, “what do you say?” he asked again.
“i-i don’t even know you’re name.” she stammered, he was cute, but he was dating her cousin and she didn’t know if she could put up with dating a muggle.
“i’m darren,” he said and kissed her.
as he pulled away she looked at him,”i can’t date you,” she pulled away from him and asked her parents to come to the kitchen with her. as they talked, they heard allysen and darren fight and then, they heard it.
“i’m a wizard, that’s how!” darren screamed at allysen.
“uh oh,” torren said, boy was she in trouble now. thankfully, her foster parents erased allysen’s memory and put everything straight again, except for torren and darren’s scenario.

PART 1:
Felix Felicis - Luck Come True

Felix Felicis is special postion with a golden hue. A small bottle of this can make you have very good luck for about 12 hours. Although it may make you very lucky, it is banned from most sports (since it'll be cheating) and it is very hard to brew. Until the effects wear off, the you will feel very confident and as said before, be very lucky in your attempts to do anything. But be careful! Drinking this potion too much may make it toxic to your body and may harm you in the sense that you will become overly confident and become very reckless and giddy - like a drunk man.

PART 2:

Lena hated his brother’s ‘phases’. One week he’ll be obsessed with football, the next week he’ll be drooling over Pokemon cards. This time it was getting a little too far. She complained to her mother, “This is too much. Remember the time when he was obsessed with vampires and decorated the house with garlic and crosses? This time is way worse than that!” she cried out in vain at the house’s current condition.
Her mother just gave her a spoonful of chicken soup and as Lena tasted it, her mother replied, “Leo is just going through a phase of…”
“Of tarot cards and the silly fake magic stuff! It’s all nonsense. The last rodent obsession of his was infuriating with the mice everywhere but every night I hear him howling some ‘spell’ in his room and the he’s making us carry ‘wands!” she complained and pointed to the stick Leo had scotch taped her sleeve.
“Just go along with it Lena.” her mother kept saying but Lena swore she could hear her mother add, “And hope the next phase will be something nicer.”

In the middle of the night Lena was once again woken up by sounds coming from her brother’s room. Sitting up in bed, she threw a robe on and marched across the hall and to the room next door. Enough was enough. “Leo! If you don’t shut up, I’m going through everything out, and tell all your friends at school about the time where you collect My Little Ponies.” Her brother looked up from his…well whatever he was doing, and at his sister. Kneeling on the floor he made a dramatic gesture and whined, “But Leeeennaa, I’m a the road in discovery someone that’s really really magically and-”
“Uh huh, that’s what you said last time when you stamped my forhead with the ‘magical dream spell’ during the night-”
“No no no,” Leo shook his head and pointed to the item on his pillow, “Today I heard some men at the construction site talking about magic, sucking souls, and dement somthing so I wanted to see if the men were really magical and nicked his jar from his pocket-”
“You what?!?”
“It’s not he will notice anyone, he was too busy talking to the other guy wearing a mask-”
“Leo, it’s 4am, you’re tired, I’m tired, go back to sleep and tomorrow please stop talking his magic nonsense.”
Leo glared at his twin sister then held out the jar, “Fine, if you drink this and nothing happens I’ll clean up everything by tomorrow morning.”
“What! You don’t even know what it is, why don’t you drink it yourself.”
Leo narrowed his eyes and frowned, “Fine, I’ll drink a mouthful and you drink a mouthful-”
“Drink it yourself I don’t want to be suicidal.” Lena snapped and with a swirl of her bathrobe she left the room.
Sighing, Leo glanced at the golden bottle and half the bottle into his own mouth hoping something will happen proving that he was right. Sifting his weight on his bed, he closed his eyes and waited for the results…

“Get up Leo, it’s time for school,” He heard his sister yell, “And clean up the stuff when you have time.” Groaning he glanced at the half empty bottle forlornly and sighed, guess nothing happened since he hadn’t suddenly grown an extra head or anything. Running downstairs he look at the clock and blinked in surprise, he wasn’t even late. He sat down for breakfast and glanced at his sister and mother who were eating their own breakfast. Turning to Lena he whisper, “Pst, Lena.” His sister looked about in inquiry. “Can I copy your math homework, I didn’t finish mine.” He answered meekly and waited for the long speech about why-are-you-so-stupid and a bunch of other rants his sister usually tells him. Instead, Lena rummaged through her backpack and pulled out her lined paper filled with neat rows of numbers. He blinked in surprised and quickly copied the answers down.
On the way to the bus stop Lena turned to him, “Hey, I’m sorry I yelled at you yesterday night, you can keep your magic stuff up if you want to, I was being selfish.”
Leo blinked again in surprise, “Sure, if you say so.”His sister just gave a big smile and went on the school bus.
All day it was like that. The usually teachers didn’t yell at him. The test he failed, no problem, the teacher let him retake it. At lunch, his friends seemed to have forgotten their argument the day before and all sat down at lunch with him, laughing and joking. Just as he was about to go home, the pretty girl he had been crushing on gave him a wave and smile- making him blush bright bred. His friends nudged him and asked what he was staring at when the girl waved at him and teased him about it after but all Leo said in explanation was “It was like magic.”

Muggle Mishap

Pt. One

Amorentia

From the Latin words “amor” meaning “love and “tempto” meaning to try to influence/tamper with.

Amorentia is the most powerful love potion in the world; so, like all love potions, it is obviously banned at Hogwarts. Slughorn just ignored that rule. XD

When drunk, the drinker will not fall in love. It is impossible to create true love, only an obsession or infatuation. The duration of the effects of the potion varies. Some factors that could change the duration include the weight of the drinker, the attractiveness of the person with whom the drinker will become drawn to, and how long the potion is left to “sit”. Regardless of all of these factors, the duration can be extended by giving the drinker more and more doses. A love potion can be administered in such a way that the object of the obsessed does not need to be present. Whenever a love potion either wears off, or is treated with an antidote, the drinker will remember everything that happened. Slightly embarrassing, no?

The ingredients of love potions are never much elaborated on-probably to prevent silly young witches from brewing them-but they are thought to contain ashwinder eggs.

Amorentia is very easily recognized. It was a mother-of-pearl sheen and its steam rises in characteristic spirals. The potion smells differently to each person who sniffs it. The smells remind them of things, places, or people they love.

Pt. Two

Riley walked down the street of New York City, her best friend Justine at her heels.

“Ask him.”

“No.”

“Ask him.”

“No.”

Justine pouted, seeing she was going nowhere. “Why?” Riley sighed and showed her bus pas as the pair climbed on. Justine did the same, patiently waiting for her friend to answer. They had been having this argument for a while now. Homecoming was coming up in five days, and Riley, unlike Justine, didn’t have a date. Justine had been trying to set up with her date Benny’s friend Mark, who didn’t have a date yet for himself, and said he actually had a thing for Riley but said he didn’t think that she’d go for it if he asked him. There was just one problem…

“I can’t stand him!” That would be it.

“Do you really, Riley?”

“Yes, I do!” Justine highly doubted that. After all, she barely knew the guy. The bus rolled to a stop, and Riley ran out before Justine could nag her anymore. Sighing, Justine didn’t race after her, but instead walked. Someone grabbed her hand as she prepared to jump off the last step, and she turned, surprised.

“Give this to your friend.” A woman with wild hair whispered, pressing a bottle into her hands. Justine took one look at her and ran, but the bottle remained clutched in her hand. She sprinted up to Riley, panting. Without thinking, she slipped the bottle into her coat pocket.

“What took you so long?” Justine’s head shot up, and she opened and closed her mouth, wondering what to say.

“Oh…nothing.”

The bottle weighed down her pocket for the entire day. At one point, she took it out and looked at it. It had a pearly sheen, and, despite her better judgement, she gave it a sniff. It smelled like the wood in her fireplace, the sea outside her house on the Cape, the flowers that grew in her Aunt Sage’s garden, and Benny’s cologne. How could it smell like all of those things at once? she wondered as she put the bottle back in her pocket. She shook her head, realizing she must be mistaken.

Later, at lunch, she and Riley were walking together again. They both did not mention Homecoming when they saw the signs, when Benny came up and put his arm around Justine, and when Mark walked by, took one look at Riley’s face, and walked away. The day was unseasonably warm for September, and everyone finished their drinks quickly.

“Man I’m thirsty.” Riley muttered. Justine didn’t think, she just reached her hand into her pocket and pulled out the bottle the strange woman had given her on the bus.

“Here, it’s some low cal fruit drink my mom tried to put off on me.” That part was at least believable. Justine’s mother had gone on a ridiculous healthy kick. Riley took it gratefully and sniffed experimentally.

“It smells nice. Like mangos and…” she stopped. It also smelled like mowed lawn, and some perfect smell that she had smelled only a few times in her life, but wanted again. Badly. Shrugging it off, she swallowed just as Mark sat down next to them all on the steps.

“Hope you don’t mind, there’s nowhere left to sit.” The question was directed at everyone, but he was looking at Riley, knowing that she’d be the one most likely to object.

“No….it’s all right.” She said slowly, looking at Mark. Like, really looking at him for what felt like the first time. He really was attractive, and sweet, and nice and... “Mark, will you go to Homecoming with me?” It came to her mouth so quickly, so easily, she wondered why she didn’t say it at all before. Mark turned a little red, and Justine and Benny’s mouth drops open. Riley wondered why as she moved her seat closer to Mark. “Well?”

“Uh…sure, Riley.” He replied.

“Good.” She smiled. And just as easily and quickly as she had asked him, she leaned towards him. He smiled and put his hand to the side of her face to brush a strand of her hair out of her face. And before she closed her eyes and leaned in closer, something struck her. She now knew what that third smell was.

Pt. One
Veritaserum

Veritaserum is a clear potion that can be highly difficult to make. It is also known as the truth serum, once the drinker has consumed this potion they will be unable to tell a lie until the potion wears off. You could make another drink this potion and ask them any question and they will be forced by the potion to tell the truth against their will. Like any potion if you make it wrong then many bad things could happen. It could be something small that isn’t that harmful and would go away in a few minutes to maybe even their death but if you were making the potion and saw that it wasn;t clear like it’s suppose to look like than you should know not to use it.

Pt. Two
Susan had placed her quarter into a soda machine and pressed the button for bottled water. Out of the shoot appeared a vial that wasn’t labeled but was clear like water. Susan picked up the bottle and started to examine it. Well I did after all get it out of the machine so it has to be water she thought to herself as she opened the bottle and guzzled down the drink. She then threw away the empty bottle and quickly made her way home where she was greeted by her husband.

“Hello honey” he said “How did that conference go?” He had thought that Susan spent the day at a conference for her business but he was soon to find out that wasn’t true.

“I wasn’t at the conference” Susan blurted out amazed by what she was saying. She tried to run off but she stayed where she was and continued to tell him what actually happened. “I went shopping with Betty. I told you that I went to the conference because I didn’t want you to know that I was buying myself a dress that cost over 200 dollars.”

“What!?” her husband called out amazed and angry. He never thought that his wife would do such a thing. ‘What about all of those other conference trips? Where you buying expansive items then too or did you really go to them?” he asked her.

“I went shopping” Susan said with horror showing on her face. “Every time that I said that I was going to a conference I went shopping with Betty. I would go to the stores and find really expensive but small things that you wouldn’t notice or wouldn’t think would cost that much.”

“Like what?” he asked

Susan then pulled up her sleeve to reveal her watch that was on her arm. She couldn’t believe that she was saying all of this stuff but she couldn’t stop no matter how hard she tried. “This watch” she said “was bought for 150 dollars. I told you that I got it off of ebay for 20 dollars. “ She then held up her purse and said “This cost almost 2000 dollars. These gems aren’t fake like I told you. They are real.” She said as tears rolled down her face.

“Where did you get all of this money?” he asked her as his face started to turn red.

“I make more money than what I told you.” She said.

‘So we have plenty of money to pay for this stuff?” he asked calming down a little.

“Yes. I make sure that I have the money to spend before I go and spend it. I don’t want us to go bankrupt” she said wiping away her tears.

“I want you to go and sell these things or return them or something. We don’t need this stuff and we’re no longer going to keep lies from each other. If you do not return these things then I am afraid that I would have to leave you” he said. “I don’t want any more lies between us. Okay?”

“Yes I will return them right now” Susan said glad that he was giving her a second chance.

“I’m just glad that you didn’t try to lie your way through this or I wouldn’t be giving you this second chance” he said giving her a small smile and Susan was glad that she was forced to tell the truth.

Part 1:
The Polyjuice Potion is a very complicated potion that obliges the drinker to turn into someone else. The potion has to be stewed for 21 days with one’s hair mixed in the ingredients. It may look thick and mud-like, bubbling slowly. Once the hair is inserted into the potion, the colour will change, depending on the person. The potion cannot be used for non-humans such as Lupin or Hagrid to turn into human form. The Polyjuice Potion lasts for an hour, but can be taken again. Potion may not turn out correctly, and when taken a mistaken potion, swelling may occur.

Part 2:
Snape walked in Diagon Ally searching for a potion book. He felt for the Polyjuice Potion he had sneaked in his pocket just when class ended. Snape had carefully planned everything to go right because he had made this potion to transform himself to a cat. Looking at his potion cautiously, he arrived at the potion store he had been looking for. As Snape looked around the store, he decided that he would take the Hogwarts Express back into the Muggle World to check if he left the book in his house.
He had not realized that when her left the train station, he had dropped the potion on the bench he was sitting at. A bunch of girls had picked it up and one was about to try it. Snape kept on looking and forgot all about his plan while a bunch of girls were giggling about a tiny bottle they had found.

“So, who’s going to try it?” said a girl named Annie.
“Annie, why don’t you try it?” asked another girl named Kristy. They were so interested in what they had picked up dropped from a formal looking man, who had not a clue where the bottle had gone. Just then, Annie gulped the tiny bottle down, which tasted horrible.
“This tastes horrible!” cried Annie, almost in tears. The other girls just stared at her, because Annie did not know that she was transforming into a cat.
“Um, I think you should give her a mirror,” said Kristy to a girl named Sam. Sam reached into her backpack and grabbed a mirror out. She handed it to Kristy, who handed it to Annie. Annie glanced one look at the mirror and screamed. She felt for her hands, but they were paws and she had grown a tail.
“How long do you think this will last?” asked Kristy.
“I’m not sure, maybe a week,” said Sam, who had no clue that it only lasted for an hour.
“Well, I’ll make an exuce to the teacher and Annie could hide until the potion wears off,” said Kristy, trying to help.
“Okay, Annie, you could go hide in the locker room,” said Sam. Annie ran all the way to the locker room while her friends went to class. Annie sniffed, and then wiped away a tear with her paw. She was completely a cat now, and she could do nothing about it. Before she knew it, Annie was so tired that she fell asleep on the bench.
“Annie! Wake up!” a voice woke up Annie, who was curled on the bench. Annie examined herself for a minute, and then she realized that the potion had worn off.
“I’m human,” she whispered, not knowing why.
“Yes, and now lets get to class,” Sam tugged on Annie’s sleeve and they went off to class.
When Annie was home, her parents were surprised that Annie was eating lots of fish at dinner. She had never taken much of a liking of fish related foods. In fact, she hated fish. Annie did not tell her family about the cat potion incident because they would never believe her, even if she was eating fish.

Meanwhile, Snape was still in his house, and had just discovered that his Polyjuice Potion was gone.
“NO! This can’t be happening!” shouted Snape. He, as a potions master, knew how dangerous it was to let a potion get into hands of a Muggle.
