Another girly thread :D But this is the thread to discuss hair, make-up and any other beauty products and services.

I'm getting my haircut either this week or next week - just having it tidied up and my fringe trimmed - at the moment it's far too long!

Make-up...I'm not very adventurous. For daytime I tend to use tinted moisturiser, concealer, eyeliner, a bronze/brown eyeshadow and mascara. If I'm feeling lazy I'll just use the concealer and mascara :D

I try to be good with a skincare regime, but most of the time I forget to moisturise. I use No7 cleanser and toner, which is a really nice product, but I always forget to moisturise. I don't suppose it's too big of a problem considering I use tinted moisturiser most days.

Does anyone go to beauty salons? I only ever go to get my eyebrows done - it used to be waxing but now I get them threaded - cheaper and less painful!

Ahem, I should also be getting a haircut soon. Very, very soon actually, because I can't stand it anymore, it's getting wayyyy too long (aka almost up to the shoulders xD) ... and I wanna do the wild hairdo, raising the whole hair from the back up (it's so easy to be done - just hold you head upside-down and sprayyyyy like there's no tomorrow xD - but it doesn't hold anymore now my hair is so long)

Day-to-day make-up is just concealer, black eyeliner and black mascara for me. There was a time when I also used tinted moisturiser or powder but it make

Moisturiser: some 3-in-1 face cream from Johnson&Johnson, face washing gel: ... some Nivea thing, for normal skin, I think. I used to use all kinds of anti-zits/spots/whatever-you-call-them-eeky-things products before, but they dried my skin out, so I stopped.

Something I've never got the hang of properly is nail varnish. What I mean by this is that I can never put it on neatly, or so that it stays for longer than two days. I also never know what colour nail varnish to use and it's just a bit of a bother :D

heh, eyebrows is something I just fix myself when I remember to, aka when I look in the mirror and it says, "Nonono, girlie, you're not going anywhere like *that*!" XD

ohh and for the nails ... well, I usually wear mine short and unvarnished since I can't be bothered to clean them up the whole time when they get dirty with ink and pencil and sometimes even drawing-charcoal, but if I'm going to a party or happen to be on holidays or whatever (incredible but true - that also happens once in a while XD) ... I either put on some natural-looking colour or else... strrrong pink or mauve when I feel willlllllllllllld ... but yeah, they don't last too long for me, either XD

I'd love to be able to sort my eyebrows out myself, but I can never get the shape right...my eyebrows can get very thick when left untamed!

I like getting them threaded or waxed because the beautician will give them a definite shape and I think it looks a lot neater than the results you get from plucking alone.

I have never dyed or highlighted my hair. I like it the way it is. It's a rich goldish brown color. I had it cut two months ago, so I'm pretty much good until late summer. My hair tends to grow really fast.

I had my eyebrows threaded last week and they look much tidier. I'm getting my hair cut on Thursday, which I'm looking forward to because it's getting on my nerves at the moment!

My hair desperately needs cut and a fresh color job. I have more greys than the average 24 year old. Heck, there's more than the average 34 year old. When it's freshly done, it's rather short--not short enough to spike, though. I like a medium reddish brown with blond highlights. I wish I had a picture from when it was last done.

There are people who come into the hotel at least once a week for meetings. They're with Mary Kay. I finally broke down and created a roll-up bag. It cost me $200 plus tax, but it's so worth it. There's four kits to it. One has face wash, lotion, and mineral powder. My face has never felt cleaner or softer. The second kit is a color kit which comes in a compact and has customized shades that are meant to go together: three eye shadow colors, a blush, and a lipstick. Then there's the finishing kit which has eyeliner, lipliner, mascara, and lip gloss--all of which are supposed to go with the color kit. Lastly there's a satin set. It has a night cream, hand scrub and hand lotion, as well as a lip mask (gets all the dead skin off your lips) and lip balm. I couldn't live without all that now.

I used to get my eyebrows threaded when I lived in southern Indiana. Then the place I got it done at closed and everywhere else was far more expensive. Now I just tweeze even though I don't really need to. That's one area of beauty where I'm blessed.

I usually keep my nails painted, but have trouble keeping them touched up. I usually go with a standard color: either red, gold, or silver. Sometimes I'll go with a light purple or green, though, especially in the spring.

Wow, I didn't realize I could talk this much about beauty products.

My hair is long. way past the shoulder but not to my elbows. I really like my hair long, and when it gets past my shoulders i donate it to Locks of Love. Right now I have side bangs which I lovee. My hair is strawberry blonde or light red.. and it's natural.

For make-up I use black mascara and liquid foundation and occasionally lip gloss and eye shadow. Nothing major.

For eyebrows - i just pluck.. theirblonde so their not that noticeable anyway.

I got my hair cut again today.

I had my high-lights re-done finalllyy last wekk.

They were at the point where they're almost orange-ish llking...but they're fine now :D

Well, I have my hair cut to about an inch below my shoulders right now. I am hoping to re-dye it, this time to black. It is naturally wavy and I have given up on straightning it.
Make-up consists of, basically, nothing. Except for special occasions, when I will put on some blush and lipstick. Other than that, I dont like it. It makes my eyes itchy and makes me break out : [

I badly need my hair cutting and my eyebrows threading again, but I'm going to wait until the middle of the month, just before my London trip hehe.

I bought some new mascara the other day - a L'Oreal one I think, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. It's one of those newish ones with a plastic wand tip instead of the bristles.

Ohh! My mom got me eyeliner! she says its time I start wearing it. And its Rimmel London... so its the kind you have to sharpen (meaning, a real eyeliner pencil... not a twist up which I hate) haha. I guess I can try it... : /

Hmm well I like being able to tie or twist or pin my hair up, and I look weird with short hair - because my hair is verrry flat, so if I wanted to look not-weird I would have to blow it and style it for ages, and I'm just sooo lazy - so I usually leave it a bit longer than shoulder-length. Sometimes I get it angled or layered, but now in the summertime all those sweaty little wisps hanging around would drive me crazy, so I'll wait till the fall to get it cut again. Oh and lately if I'm going out somewhere I've started putting it up in these twisty roller things so that it falls in soft waves and curls, which I looove because my hair is normally so straight. xD

Makeup...if I'm lazy, just concealer and powder blush and chapstick.

If I'm not lazy, I'll experiment with shimmery cream blush and concealer and tinted moisturizer and eyeliner (I love the twist-up soft ones, incidentally) and mascara and chapstick (my lips tend to get dry very fast).

Oh and if I'm going out somewhere fancy, I'll put on some eyeshadow, too - but I usually just go with a glittery silver one because I don't have to bother so much with blending and stuff. Oh and if I want my eyes to really stand out, I'll put on some under-eye concealer. And I've forgotten lipstick, I'll put some lipstick on too, though I'm not very daring with lipstick colors and tend to stick with soft pinks. And lip gloss.

And I'm very bad with nail varnish, too. :S It always looks weird, and if I put on too little at once, there are these bare spots, and if I put on too much at once, it takes ages to dry and ends up peeling off an hour after I put it on. Somehow though, I find toenails easier than fingernails, so I usually just paint my toenails. xD But I'm also hopeless with choosing colors.

I don't really wear make up or do my hair. It's a pony tail or bunches durig the day normally, one or two plaits for riding, and if it's really fancy, I put it in a bun. Yeah, wild innit?

As for make up, it's usually eyeliner to hide how tired I look.

Hair- Straighten when its not wet. Takes forever, but its good. Curl it when I have curling gel, which I ran out of and takes about an hour just to dry right on low. But most of the time, its in a pony tail or half up an half down. I think alot of people hate that on me...I dont care

Make-up- Eyeliner, black, really really black. Eyeshadow, brown, dark brown, purple, dark purple and blue, dark blue. Thats it, I dont like being a girly girl, so I dont so much.

I need to go and get my hair cut again, for school starting. I am thinking of doing something really drastic... like, one of these:

Yeah, for me, the girl who has had her long hair since she was three, that is drastic XD
I am not sure yet though... I have really thick hair and an oval face shape, what my stylist says is "ideal model type" so I think it could work... I am just nervous about parting with my hair. haha.

My hairs natauraly straight, shoulder length, dark brown. styled a bit like Hayley from paramore.

Im not wearing make-up now, but normally, black eyeliner (usually too much lol) mascara. occasionally, some blusher, or ill borrow my sisters foundation.

Mostly, too much eyeliner though

Well I have make up but i usually wake up 2 late in the Morning...and i don't have enough time to put it on in the morning before school. But the one thing that i cannot live without in my makeup bag....EYELINER...i love that stuff...although sometimes i put too much on so i look all emo... and i dont really like mascara it makes my eyelashes all clumpy...and i love eyeshadow...I really focus on my eyes as you can tell. I love to bring out the color(green).

as for eyebrows...waxing for me..butis sucks..

oh and my hair is superduper curly. its a hassle sometimes but it looks really awesome on a good day.
