Alice danced up to the gate and unlatched it with ease. She walked up to one of the lion cubs and gently stroked his head, laughing gently as he purred. As Alice expected, the cubs parents werent too happy that she was playing with their baby. The crouched, ready to attack when Alice pulled a huge slab of raw meat out of her bag and threw it over. Predicably, all the lions including the parents rushed over for a feast. Sadly, ALice could feel the cub straining to follow. Alice let go of the cub with a sigh and exited the lion pen.

Natalie didn't know what was happening.....she didn't know what to do! She walked into the lions den, where there were two hungry-looking lions waiting for her. She whipped out her wand, but the lions, as it was a rare, magical beast, had extremely good hearing, and immediately raised their heads and gave her a glaring look. They got up in unison, and started to walk towards her, baring their over-large teeth fearsely. Natalie quickly cast a shield charm between her and the lions, so that they were unable to get any closer and eat her aive. Sheknew there was a code word to keep these lions at bay, but she had forgotten it. She racked her brains for this code and keep her shield charm in lace at the same time but it proved very hard indeed. She thought and thought....but then.....out of no-where her conscience spoke to her.
"What house are you in dummy?!" it said loudly.
"Oh yeah," she said, and she was so excited she accidentally broke her shield charm.

"Stop!" Natalie exclaimed at the lions, "I am a GRYFFINDOR!"

Immediately, the lions stopped in their tracks, and sort of bowed down in front of her.

Natalie knew she must have tamed the lions, and gave a great cheer and let out a sigh of relief.
