CHOIR PERFORMANCE : THE LION KING

Chelle walked into the room and took her seat at the front of the auditorium and waited for the show to start, her hand dipping in the popcorn as her other hand holding her drink. She hoped that more people would join her in the audience soon

Streams strolled into the auditorium, glad the show hadn't started yet so she didn't miss anything. She saw one head peeking up among all the chairs and went towards it, grinning when she recognized Chelle. "This seat doesn't belong to anyone, does it?" she asked, plopping down on the seat next to Chelle. She sipped from her bottle of water as she waited for the show to start...

Streams pulled out a chocolate bar she had been planning on saving for later. But she was excited, and the chocolate was just sitting in her pocket...seemed a waste not to at least take one bite...giving in to her inner devil that spent all day whispering she should eat nothing but chocolate, she unwrapped it slowly and took a small bite, turning to face Kitty. "I just love the Lion King!" she said enthusiastically. "I can't wait for it to begin."

Dragon peeked behind the curtain hanging in front of the stage. Gulping she saw that she knew some of the people who had came it to see the show.

Muttering the words to the song again under her breath she sat on a wooden bench in the wings trying to reassure herself nothing will happen to her. Except her mind kept wandering to the time she fell down...

Mel Stood back stage wishing she had attended more rehearsals as she simply now stood on standby to help anyone who needed it

Etta crept up to stand beside Mel and grabbed her fellow Hufflepuff's arm.

"I'm scared, I've missed rehearsals and i have no idea what I'm doing!" she whispered with a hysterical shake to her tone.

Mel took Ettas arm, and looked as scared as her friend
"Im in the same boat" she whispered hoping someone would come to their rescue

Thinking quickly Etta spotted a make up counter.

"I have a plan!" she whispered, dragging Mel over to the counter and piling make up into her arms. "We'll just look busy until someone shouts at us!"

Trying to hide her nervous smile Etta began to pile make up into her own arms.

Katie rushed back stage into the green room where her fellow preformers were. She had a sense of panic.. nothing seemed to come together yet.. What was she going to do?! Take a deep breath she reminded herself and she took her own advice. She just needed to be organized and this whole thing would work out. So she faced the green room at large and asked, "Does anyone have the first peice of scenery?" Silently begging for someone to say yes.

Streams smiled at Kitty, "Yup, that's the good thing about arriving early." She considered her chocolate bar, and then took another small bite. The curtain rippled, a pair of eyes peeking out, and there were hushed voices backstage, as well as the sound of something being dragged. One corner of Streams' mouth lifted as she tried to contain a smile. This choir was evidently made up of people like herself, because it didn't look like it would be starting on time. Sighing in resignation, she settled back to pay her full attentions to the chocolate in her hand.

"Does anyone have the first piece of scenery?"

June bit her lip. Scenery had been one of her responsibilities.... and she knew she'd done this first set! But... where was it? She rummaged about backstage and grimaced as she couldn't find it. "Grrr....." She was dressed for her part as Nala and rolled her eyes in exasperation as her 'tail' kept getting caught on the sets. Where was it?!?! June bit her lip to keep from yelping as a particular set tugged at her tail extremely hard. She checked it; she really didn't want to have to sew it on again. June turned to glare at ths opposing set and her mouth dropped open. She loved her luck, if you could call it that! The much-looked-for piece of scenery had been hiding behind the following one. June quickly separated them and with some hard tugs of a rope, made the first picture of Pride Rock flap down behind the closed curtain. "Got it!" June whispered back to Katie.

Katie let out a sigh of releif as the first set was set up back stage. She hugged June and concentrated on what still needed to be done... PROGRAMS! She suddenly thought to herself, and checking her clipboard she noticed noone had told her they were going to do that.. So she rummaged around in her bag and pulled copies of the one's she had made.. they weren't that great, but they would have to do..

June smiled as she saw the pamphlets. It'd be a little while before the show started, so she asked her friend, "Do you want me to get someone* to hand those out those out to everyone?"

* = a random usher

"Do you want me to get someone* to hand those out those out to everyone?"

"Yes!" Katie replied with yet another sign as releif and another hug for June as she focused her attention on other things.. So: they had the pamphlets, they had the scenery, they were still missing something.. but what could it be.. THE SCRIPT!!!! Katie whistled and called everyone to attention. "Does anyone have the script?" she asked the room at large, once again praying someone would say yes.

June nodded her head, grabbed the pile of pamphlets, and quickly walked from backstage to a corner of the room. She spotted an usher and quickly waved him over. "Can you hand these out please?" she whispered, not wanting to attract attention as a member of the cast. When he nodded, June smiled and quickly added, "Thanks," before turning back the way she'd come, in time to catch Katie's call for the script. June bit her lip. The script, she didn't have....

Katie checked her clipboard for script writers and then looked around for Agatha Black running_swift and jennifer williams. Hopefully they at least had some of the script done.

Still trying to look busy, Etta began to hop from foot to foot unsure of what to do. She saw Chelle dressed as Scar and suddenly realized her fellow Huffle was missing the most important thing of all.

Running past everyone, jumping over cables and avoiding falling into scenery, Etta dived at Chelle's feet, pulled out a black eyeliner from her newly acquired makeup bag and drew a huge scar on her face.

"Perfect!" gasped Etta breathlessly.

Rigby was backstage, listening to all the noise and chaos around her. She was doing last minute touch up painting for the scene she had created for the performance. Her hands were stainde with the orange paint, but hopefully this simple backdrop she had created would make a bold statement to the audience.

" Does anyone need anything?" Kaitlyn asked.

Etta moved off stage and looked hopeful as people bustled past her.

"This is organised chaos," she muttered to herself.

Etta watched Kate wide eyed and gasped a strangled scream when she saw her covered in paint.

"Oh my goodness!" she squealed, racing across to the newly painted Kate.

As she ran, Etta grabbed a dressing gown and raced to Kate's side. "Quickly change, i'll find you something else to wear! And here," she added, pulling a tub of baby wipes from her basket, Etta quickly wiped as much paint off Kate's face and hair.

Kate was happy to let Etta take control of her paint catastrophy. She might now smell like a baby's bottom, but the wipes were getting the paint off pretty well.

"Thanks, Etta!" she hiccupied in between cries.

Etta gave Kate a big hug, a Kleenex tissue and smiled.

"Don't cry over spilt paint, its not like you broke a leg or anything or said Macbeth which would really stupid since its a curse to all performances which are due to take place...." etta fell silent suddenly. "I said that word! Oh no, oh no oh no!"

Katie rushed to Kate and Etta as soon as she realized something was wrong, and there seeme dto be an excess of orange paint all over the place. She took out some paper towels and helped Etta mop Kate up. She patted her on the back and tried to comfort her saying, "It's not a big deal and the scenery looks great!"

Then turning to the people running around she once again blew her whistle. "I need the script. I need the rest of the scenery. I need some songs. I need some RPG. I need some water!" she announced. Hoping someone would give her one of the desirables.

Etta smiled at Katie and her manic shouting, that girl is gonna fall down soon she thought to herself as she watched her race around the place like a mad woman.

"Katie catch!" shouted Etta as she threw a bottle of water through the air.

Katie gratefully caught the bottle of water Etta threw her, and shouted thanks to her friend. She was still waiting for the script but at least she knew it was coming bcasue June had asked her if any help was needed.

Katie almost cried when June pulle dout the script. "You are truly amazing June" she told her friend and gave her a great big hug. "If any other script writers have stuff post it please!" Katie called again. "Now, for the RPG people.. if you have a charector work on your RPG now.. and if you don't you can sign up fro one here. the orginal list with the comittess is in the planning thread" Katie announced. This thing was actually getting started!
