Ive seen this somewhere before but cant remember where (and it was on an RPG site so I dont know whether it would be possible here?)

What about when members reach a certain year they are able to have their own houses (threads in a forum) in which they can decorate and invite others there (perhaps rpg) and have to 'pay rent' to enable them to keep their house which culd be anything from a graphics a month or something else.

in Rp we can open as many threads about ourselves as we want so you point wouldn't really be needed, but it would be a good touch if this site was competly RP

Well, I think RPing is quite boring, and since this site isn't a RP site, it would be pretty... well, too much. And as pickles already said, the members can already create new threads in the P section, why do we need more RPing? o_____O

Yes, I agree with Pickles and Caro. People can make whatever threads they want in the RPG section.

Actually, about the RPG section - does anyone think it should be more organised? Not completely worked over, but something along these lines, just to tidy it up a little...

Same here, I actually considered posting in there just yesterday, so I went into the forum, saw all the threads and was all like - WOAH O_O Which meant I didn't post because I was uper confused XD

Does anyone have any suggestions then on how it can be divided? I don't tend to venture into the Great Hall much either, just to do modly stuff, so I'm not entirely sure what all the threads are about.

Is dividing it into what would essentially be Hogwarts and non-Hogwarts be enough? Or is there another distinction we could make?

I think maybe it could go something like this -

Hogwarts

Classrooms
(Potions classrooms - DADA classrooms - Detention Rooms...)

Slytherin House
(and all realated sub topics within/below)
Gryffindor House
(and all related sub topics within/below)
Hufflepuff House
(and all related sub topics within/below)
Ravenclaw House
(and all related sub topics within/below)

Outside of Hogwarts

Members Homes
(rooms - houses, ect.)
Shops/Pubs

Those are just a few ideas - but I think if maybe they were separated and pulled apart from each other a bit more it might make the tread a little less -um- intimidating

The problem I see with dividing the four houses into separate forums is that it might be confusing as we already have a common room area for each house. Maybe there could be a Hogwarts sub forum with a further Hogwarts Houses subforum?

We already have a lot of forums and I'm not sure we want to make all that many more :D

Here's an idea of what it could be like...

-Great Hall
------Hogwarts
------------Classrooms
------------Hogwarts Houses
------The Wizarding World
------------Members Homes
------------Shops/Pubs

That would be an additional six sub-forums, which isn't overly excessive, in my opinion. I'd also consider moving the House Spirit forum out and into the Event Forum.

Of course, everything that doesn't fit into any of these categories could remain in the main forum.

I support the idea of moving the House Spirit forum into the event forum, I think it has taken me about a month to finally find it accidentally (by clicking on of the Griffy's signature link XD) - so yeah, I think Event forum is a place where people'd rather expect it to be Member Homes/Great Hall Improvements Aayes
