Great Hall

This is the great hall. Do what ever you want to with it.

Zelda walked into the great hall and waited for Oddie.

Zelda saw Oddie and said.. " Hey Oddie!"

" I just got here." Zelda said.

" You pick." Zelda said.

" Okay." Zelda said as she sat down.. " What to eat.. so many options." Zelda said.

Zelda got some potato's and than some pumpkin juice and some chicken.. " This looks good." Zelda said.

" Oh.. Okay.. I know how you feel. Some of my friends don't like meat.. I grew up eating it so I guess I am use to it." Zelda said with a smile.

Shadow walked into the Great Hall, and sat down at the Slytherin table, keeping away from the others and hunching over her plate, trying to be as small as possible.

Yvaine entered the Great Hall with a limp. She saw Zelda and Oddie and then she saw Shadow. She didn't know whom to go to, so she just sat at the end of the Slytherin table because her leg hurt to much to walk.

"What's wrong with your leg?" Asked Shadow, a concerned look on her face.

"Oh, uh...nothing." Yvaine lied. She then spotted some blood rolling down her leg, so she grabed a napkin so mabey no one would notice.

"Do you take me for an idiot?" Shadow narrowed her eyes.

"No" Yvaine said annoyed. "I...it's not a big deal, ok? But it does hurt."

"Then don't talk to me like I'm blind. Do you need to go to the hospital wing?" Shadow's face softened again.

"Probably...do you mind coming with me?" Yvaine asked. "Sorry..."

"It's ok, I don't mind." Shadow stood up, offering Yvaine her arm to lean on to take the weight off her leg.

Yvaine leaned on Shadow as the walked to the Hospital Wing.

(Off to the 'hospital wing' then)

Yvaine and Shadow walked into the great hall together.

"So what really did happen?" Asked Shadow.

"Well, I really was in the Forbiden forest...need to know anymore?" Yvaine confessed.

"I would rather, but I suppose that it's up to you." Shadow sensed the truthfulness in the other girl's voice.

"Alright..." Yvaine said as they sat down and filled their plates with food. "I saw somthing out there...he looked like a man, but his face was horribly distorted, so I chased after him. He through somthing like a sword back at me, and it spliced my leg..." Yvaine said.

Shadow nodded, wishing that Yvaine had told her before instead of hiding behind a lie. [/i]

"So, what have you been up to lately?" She asked.

"Not a lot that I'm willing to say. What about you, well, apart from chasing some one through the forest."

Yvaine let out a little giggle. "Not much...that I can think of." Although she wished Shadow would tell her something.

Shadow let herself show a small smile.

Yvaine glanced over at Oddie and Zelda. " Hey you guys!" She said, trying to get their attention without getting up.

Shadow looked around to see who Yvaine had been talking to, and pulled up her hood.

"Have you met Oddie Riddle or Zelda Rundell? Their close friends of mine." Yvaine said with a smile.

"Not really," Shadow stood up to leave.

"Where are you going?" Yvaine asked, afraid to be too nosy...

"I had better be off." Shadow was deliberately trying to avoid being subjected to social interaction.

"Alright." Yvaine was now sitting alone. Why do I always drive off friends like that? she wondered.

Why do I always drive off friends like that? Shadow hit herself in the head. She had been reading minds again. Sure enough, it was starting...

Dorothy, walking quickly and avoiding eye contact, sat down at the ravenclaw table and started to pile on chicken with an agitated manner, as if in a hurry.

Shadow noticed the other seemingly anti-social person and made her way towards her. She sat down opposite.
"What's making you so afraid?"

"Er, what? Oh, I, um, well... It's nothing!" she gabbled, then looked away.

Zelda saw two figures say hey to her... One looked as though they where limping or struggling and the other seemed as a helper... When they came closer she saw it was Shadow and Yvaine. " Oh Hey!" Zelda said to them She looked at all three of her friends and than saw another Ravenclaw walk in. After saying hey Shadow headed for her. " Oddie do you want to meet the new person?" Zelda asked.

Now that she was alone anyway,Yvaine made her way towards Zelda and Oddie. "Hello!" she said.

Yvaine felt once again out of place. She then headed to the slytherin common room.
