Dare the Master

Holly placed the sign "Dare the Master" on the table top and sat on one of the two vacant seats behind it.
She was in behind a portrait on the seventh floor, and ready to be dared.
In front of her was the advertisement she had placed around school and in Hogsmede, "COME DARE THE DARER, Holly Bristol will do just about any dare you dare her to. Three sickles for each dare Holly completes. Seventh floor. First come first serve,"

Eliza walked up. "What's this?"

"Hey Eliza," Holly said, and pointed to the seat next to her, "You can sit if you want whilst I explain,"

"Ok..." Eliza sat on the other chair. "Do I need to be reassured?" She said, and laughed.

Holly laughed.
"Well this is kinda a dare thing....random people come up, dare me to do stuff, aaand then they give me money for it....its Georges birthday and I need to save up," she explained.

"Okay..." Eliza said. "What sort of dare?"

"Anything," Holly said promptly, "Anything they can think of. Obviously I wont take money off you but anyone else who stops by. Oh, that guy looks promising! Oh...he walked away. Never mind."
She grinned.

"Why won't you take money off me?" Eliza asked.

"Cause youre a friend," Holly said as if it were obvious, "A best friend come to that. I wouldnt do that!"
And she laughed again, because thats what Holly does.

Eliza smiled. "I'll still pay you... 5 sickles, right?"

"Three," Holly said smiling, "And only if youre sure....and what would you like me to do? Any dare you can think of dude,"

Hayley heard voices she recognised. Sure enough when she turned a corner, she saw Holly and Eliza laughing and talking. She walked up to them both, and seeing the sign on Holly's desk she grinned. "Hey guys," she said nodding, "Dares? Bless the person who tries to out-dare Holly Bristol!" she pointed to a small scar on her chin. "This scar is from the first time I tried to outdare Holly," she laughed.

"Lets not mention that," Holly said laughing, "Bad times...baaad times. Oh- Hayley Eliza, Eliza Hayley...yay!"

Natalie entered the room, only to find her friends gathered around a table.

"Ohhhh....I know what this is....are we playing Dare The Master again....oh.....goody, Can a play?" she said.

"Yeah, I met yo once Eliza, nice to meet again," said Hayley smiling. She looked at Natalie, "Hey Nat, wat's up?"

"Absolutely," Holly said to Natalie, "What shall I do?"

"Well..." Eliza thought."You could do something to Filch."

"Or do something to a book in front of madam pince." Natalie suggested.

Eliza laughed.
"That's a good one. How about you say: Sorry miss, my cat peed on this book."

"She'll freak," said Natalie, "go on Holly, do it....dooooo it" said natalie coaxingly.

"Please? Look, here's the 5 sickles." Eliza pulled the silver coins out of her pocket and put them on the table.

Shadow walked over, having sensed something interesting going on.
"Hello everyone." She said quietly.

"Oh, you're just in time to see Holly do a dare. Isn't that right Holly?" Eliza nudged her other club-founder.

Shadow smiled, seeing the sign.
"I may have a dare, but I don't think I'll challenge you. What's your one?" She asked.

"Ours is to say to Madame Pince: Sorry miss, my cat peed on this book."

Holly grinned.
"Ill do it," she said, "Easy peasy!"

"We're watching..." Eliza grinned.

George telepoted everyone including himself, into the library, where Madam Pince looked up sharply.
"What are you children doing here?" she asked.
"I have some bad news Mizz P," Holly said sadly, and took out her copy of fantastic beasts and where to find them. She set the book on Madam Pince's hand.
"My cat peed on this," she said.

Eliza had run to the library just in time to see the look on M. Pince face.

Shadow staggered slightly after the teleport. She was was only used to teleporting with her magic, not with George's. She watched Madame Pince carefully.

Eliza was in stitches from laughing.

Madam Pince looked from Holly to the book and back again, but Holly's face, used to lying, remained sad and determined.
Madam Pince screamed, threw her arms in the air and ran out of the library.

Natalie went into fits of sniggery laughter.

"Oh man....that woman can run like the wind," said Natalie, howling with laughter.

"That she can," Holly said nodding in approval, "That girl....,"

Eliza laughed into her sleeve. "So Shadow, what was your dare?"

Holly looked at Shadow. She had totally forgotten Shadow had had a dare in mind.
"Yeah, what was it?"

"Oh yeah...do Shads next..." said Natalie, who was enjoying watching the master at work.

"Something exciting I hope?" She said with a smile.

Holly grinned.
"Knowing Shad it has to be- so come on Shadow, what was it?"

"Holly, that was great dude," laughed Hayley

"Thanks kiddo!" Holly said grinning.

Shadow's smile faded at the question of her dare.
"I have thought it over that I think that it's too dangerous."

"Oh?" Holly asked, "What was it?"

"Daring you to visit my dimension, but no." Shadow said.

"Oh...is it really unsafe there or something?" Holly asked.

"It can't be that dangerous...we could all go to keep Holly safe," suggested Natalie.

"It's not really unsafe, but it's more a thing that you might not be welcome there, and then it gets dangerous..." Shadow said.

"Ah...I see.....so thats a no then," said Natalie

"Better not, unless you REALLY want to, which I don't see happening." Shadow said apologetically.

"Well," Holly said slowy, "I wouldnt MIND going...but I dont think id want anyone else to go just in case....i dunno....,"
