Chat Days

What do you think about the idea of having chat days? Since I cannot help but notice that the chatbox/chatroom aren't being used a lot lately and it would be awesome to try to gather more people onto the CB more often, like in "ye good olde days" hehe - it would be great for new members to get to know more people and it would also be fun for all of us.

It's true that in theory, anyone can just go into chat and hope someone turns up and that eventually the CB will fill, but I'm just thinking that if we introduced chat days, people would be more likely to actually remember to come into it on that particular day.

I really like this idea. They're might be a problem finding a day and time that a lot of people can go to considering different timezones and countries.

*nods* I was thinking more of a whole-day thing, as in, everyone should go onto the CB when they can, but try to fit it into their day, nevertheless. This would have the effect that people wouldn't put off CB-going until the next day. For example, one might plan the chat day and say they give up doing lots of other things on the site, in order to come on chat .. you know, just make time for it. (then again, there might be people who are so awesome at multitasking, so that they can go all hyper and wooohoooo in the chat and do homework at the same time - I'm not one of them XD)

well, i think its a good idea because, people around here tend to hang and talk to those who they meet when they joined so that will give new members a chance to meet some people and old members a chance to meet the new ones,

As most of you are prefects and/or heads maybe it may be a good idea for prefects and heads of school to organise this idea as there are equal numbers from each house who could go into their houses and find out best times etc, and heads of school could decide and advitise.

I'll put a note for you all in prefects bathroom.

I think that's a good idea... because each time I go on, there's no-one there in it makes me sad!
