The Lord of the Rings

I love the lord of the rings does anyone else adore it.

I love Lord of the rings too, it's a very great movie With Billy and Dominic and Viggo!!! lol that's such a good movie to drool... though I never do it... lol

But I love the extended versions too lol especially the part in the 3rd one we miss, the one with Eowyn and Faramir

I love LOTR...everything about it is great...the story, the fantasy, the adventure, the music...everything.

And I am lucky that Tolkien lived down the road...so the area I live in has been renamed "The Shire Country Park"....so I live in The Shire lol. And we also have Tolkien Weekends every year, and last year Becky and I won these cool Legolas and Aragorn goblet/shot glasses.

LotR is great. I never read the books but the films are awsome. My favourite is return of the king

I liked the LoTR movies. They were good and I liked Legolas. He's an awesome archer.

OMG I AM THE MOST HUMUNGOUS LOTR FAN as you all know. But yes the movies are mind blowing, i have seen them 27 times over including the extended ones. You will always here me quoting things from them my favourite being " you would die before your stroke fell!" LOL The casting was excellent and everone did their parts well. And the work that weta has put into the whole trilogy is so awsome. The dedication of PJ,the writers, the producers,the camermen,actors,weta and the extras is outwardedly excellent. How you could put seven years of your own life into movies is true dedication. I bet that pj inspired people all around the world to become movie makers or cameramen. I just wish i had been older when i had when i saw them. But i must say they did leave a fair amount out which was ok seeing the time. But they did miss out principle charactors such as: Prince Imrahil,Beregond,bergil,Tom Bombadil (everyones favourite) and some other non important chars. They also killed off Saruman,Wormtongue and Haldir too soon * cries* ok so now i am outwardedly raving too much *cringes at length of post* but everyone here knows i am a LOTR NUT!!!!

Ahem, i've seen the movies hundreds of times and read the books only 3 times. Not a HUUUUGE fan, but i like them. The Two Towers was hillarious! Even if it souldn't be, it was.

Gimli: What's happening out there?
Legolas: Shall I describe it to you... or would you like me to find you a box?

ROFL! Gimli and Legolas rocks!

And Aragorn... mwehh.

the two towers was the funniest, fellowship was the most enchanting, and return of the king was the greatest! yay, we have a great trilogy right here!

i own FotR and TTT on DVD, and ive seen all but the Smeagol/Deagol scene in RotK. so yeah, im not a huge huge fan, but i do love the movies, they were wonderfully done and who doesnt like Orlando Bloom?

I can't say how much I love LOTR I love the Battle of Helms deep the best, though the battle at minestirth (sp?) is v. cool!

I really love these movies!!! They rock soo much!! Also...if you care...it ends up they plan on making The Hobbit!! I love the Elves!!!!!!! LEGOLAS!!!!!! Lol

Legolass rocks, with his bow and arrow, but everyone always forgets Gimli, everyone says yeh, Aragorn and legolas, but Gimli rocks!

gimli was my favourite character - i loved how him and legolas hated each other because dwarves and elves like each other and then are great friends in the end

I really liked that to!

But one of my favourite quotes is in the 2nd film at helms deep when Aragorn and Gimli have to make the jump over the the orc and Gimli says,

"Toss me"

Aragorn: "What?"

Gimli: "Toss me I cannot make the jump," Aragorn starts to toss gimli, "Ahahah don't tell the elf,"

I love that quote! But you would have needed to see the 1st film to really understand it (in the mines of moria)

Legolas and strider **drool** if you dont watch the films because you like them - then watch the for these two characters! they are scrumptious!

but i did love the films too - the return of the king was my favourite

besides that I really liked the films, but i did get mad when they would cut off and you would have to see the next movie..

It was really good, i watch it every once in a while!

These have to be one of my fave films (i class them as one, not three). I could watch them over and over again. I love tha i live right by where Tolkein got his inspiration from. Tis great, cos i get t go to the Tolkein weekend every year!! And dress up as a hobbit or an elf! Tis fun!

I've got a freind who dresses up as well, so i don't feel so foolish. And they are LOADS of people who are part of the Tolkein Society who dress up as ring wraiths, and hobbits and elves, and orcs. I can't wait till next years.

Hmmmm books are better *grumbles* they have elladan and elrohir and glorfindel and prince imrahil and beregond and bergil etc. And more of leggy in the books too

but i have to say that it was the first time i went to see a movie from a book i read and didn't become dissapointed

I never read the book lol I almost fell asleep on the first one... it takes too much time to just... start. But anyway.

I love the movies though, they are really good. I still need to buy the extended version of the 1st one though lol because I wanna watch the Green Dragon song again!

The lord of the rings series of films are one of those greatly made films. I have read the books, and yes the films missed out quite a bit, but i can still say that they did an amazing job!

I love LotR! I've read the books, but prefer the movies. *hides from Yun*

Who wouldnt like lord of the rings? Action packed fun! I mean come on - it is one of the best stories in history of stories!

I'm proud to say I live near where J.R.R Tolkien lived and where he got his inspiration for LOTR, hehe and I go to the Tolkien weekend every year which is really fun. I'vealso seen the two towers he based the two towers on and been to the top of one of them.

Wow, I FINALLY saw the films...they're so good. All of them. I didn't like the books that much, because they were too long, and I thought the movies would either be pointlessly long or they would leave out half the story, but somehow they managed to keep all the good stuff and still keep the movie interesting the entire time.

I loved them!
