This challenge is allowing more fails than usual to begin the HEBB experience

The hippo walked into the kitchen. He saw an apple on the table and decided to eat it. He walked over to the table and climbed onto it and took the apple in its mouth. When the hippo was finished he saw a necklace lyeing on the floor so he decided to see who owned the necklace. He picked it up with his mouth and walked outside to see a lot of snow. He saw a boy who was playing with a bell. He walked through the snow over to the boy and asked him if the necklace belonged to him. The boy said yes and the hippo was finished with his job.

Choice #3

Once in the Village of Colour there lived a naughty elf named Purple. Purple had an insatiable love of chocolate. He couldn't get enough of the brown stuff. So great was his hunger that he stole a car (elves aren't allowed to drive as they are too short) and drove to the next village over for the famous Chocolate Festival. On the way there he crashed the car into the Piano and Keyboard store. He injured his tongue and chocolate never tasted the same to him again. Afterwards he began a less intense love affair with bagels.

According to Cut & Paste Word Count it's 100 even.

Kaye stepped into the dwindling light of the orchards, letting her feet find the familiar path into the trees. She found herself sprinting along to the resonance of a distant church bell, dress flowing behind her. Finally, her feet stopped before a seemingly ordinary tree, which she hurriedly climbed, careful not to let her necklace catch on stray branches. Reaching out, she plucked a stunning violet apple from a hidden branch, letting the feeling of grasping a snow ball with bare hands sweep her body. Kaye leaned back, tracing “HiPPO” where it was slashed into the bark as she took a bite of the juicy lavender fruit.

“Duck!” Harry shouted, but was too late. The bottle of red potion Snape had thrown at him hit directly in the middle of Ron’s chest. After the fog settled down, Harry and Hermione were rather grateful to see that there was no immediately visible damage. Then Harry looked at Ron’s hands. They were both shrinking and appeared to be sprouting white feathers. Then the rest of Ron’s body began to do the same. “That, class, is the Animastus potion. On contact with skin, it has the power to transform the user into a random animal—or one that is named. Thank you Weasley and Potter. Ingredients on the board.”

(Barely got the proper word count; ended with 109...whew!)

Anyone ever wondered what gender Big Brother really is? The term 'Big Brother' naturally points to a male thingymabobbie, but who am I to judge? It's simply a matter of taste! It's like asking, 'How do you like your eggs? Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs or eggs Benedict?' Honestly... let's just go straight to dinner, and SKIP the breakfast!
What about toads, though? I know people eat frogs, but since Big Brother is so special and unique, would he eat toads instead?
Seriously - I lift my hat to him and bow my head!

That foggy Wednesday night, the hippo didn't stir as the storm raged on. He didn't mind the snow storm and the cold that it brought.

He wanted to see the annual apple tree chopping that took place every year on heritage day. Every other year he didn't care, but the town was cutting down his tree.

The hippo's fondness for the tree came from the sound it made when the wind blew through it. It sounded just like a bell. However, now that he though about it, he didn't really need the tree. So, he decided to buy a bell necklace as soon as the storm disappeared.
