Natalie snorted with laughter at a bit in her book that she'd read.

"Did you know that giants, when in war, are so frantic about reproducting that they don't know if they are...you know....doing things with a giant that's the same gender as themselves?" sniggered Natalie.

"It's a book about giant wars...I must read it to help me finish my essay for Professor Binns," said Natalie.

"Quidditch practice?" Holly said snapping into life, "You play quidditch?"

"I'm almost finished," said Natalie, "I've also been busy...but with S.P.E.W."

"Spews cool," Holly agreed, "But quiddtich? Awesome! Im gonna be Irelands youngest player. Who do ya support?"

"Holyhead Harpies...and it's not spew...it's S.P.E.W," said Natalie in annoyance.

"Suuuure it is sweetums," Holly said absently.

"It is...and why are you so absent these days?" asked Natalie.

"Whaddya mean?" Holly asked, "I dunno. A lot on my mind I guess."

"Like what?" NAtalie asked.

"Oh..I think you do know," said Natalie, looking at Holly.

"What do I know?" Holly asked narrowing her eyes.

"You know what your thinking about," said Natalie.

"Obviously," Holly said, "I also know a great deal about flying, dueling and street sense, boy sense and fashion sense. Not much else,"

"Your good at defense," said Natalie.

"Meh," Holly said grinning, "But you are the smart one, right kid?"

"People seem to think so," said Natalie, "just because I study and get good grades and read alot...that doesn't mean I'm smart."

Holly was confused. But that was nothing new.

"In other words...I'm not smart just because I think logically," said Natalie.

"I think you're pretty darn smart," Holly said grinning.

"Thanks...and you're smart...and good at Quidditch too," said Natalie, "and don't say you aren't smart, because you are Holly."

Holly sighed. You couldnt win when it came to Natalie and her ways.

Natalie grinned at Holly.

Holly rolled her eyes but then returned the gesture.
"I love you you big nerd," she said lovingly.

Phoenix entered the room, she putted her bag down and sat on a chair not thinking anyone was in she rubbed her left arm; it was hurting.

Holly glanced at Phoenix, and then at the spot she assumed her dark mark to be, but as Phoenix was her best friend she could hardly comment on that.
"Hi," she said, "You....alright?"

"You ok Phoe?" Natalie asked the girl who had just entered

Phoenix nodded "I'm ok" she lied "just me arm is all, about you guys?"

"I'm fine...studying for OWL's," said Natalie.

Phoenix sighed "I forgot all about them" she said

"I could help you study if you want," said NAtalie, "I'll be helping Holly anyways."

Phoenix shook her head "I'll be alright" she said "But thanks"

"You sure?" Natalie asked.

Phoenix nodded "Yeah, but thanks Nat" she said "So what you guys been doing laterly?"

"Not much...studying mostly...well, actually...I've been doing nothing else," said Natalie.

Phoenix nooded "Just been..well..nothing" she lied

"Please Phoenix...it is so obvious you are lying," said Natalie.

Phoenix sighed "Fine" she said "Death eater stuff"

"So I take it that you've been...whats the word...miserable?" Natalie asked.

"Its not as bad as everone puts it out to be" she said

"Mmm," said Natalie, unsure of what to say.

"Anyway i don't want to talk about it really" she said "Bella would go metal"

"Bella...as in...Bellatrix?" Natalie asked.

Phoenix nodded "Yeah" she said "She looked after me...well...ever since my mother was murder and father killed himself"

Natalie looked at Phoenix.

"I know Bellatrix wasn't all bad," said Natalie.
