Subject: Ziggy vs. S.Master Wed May 28 2008, 13:51

This is the thread for Ziggy vs. S.Master.

You should duel your opponent using your own spells and spells from the HP Universe. You should make a total of six posts each, and should take it in turns to post.

You will be marked on the following:

* Eye for surroundings
* Defensive and offensive spells (both what spells are used and how well they are used)
* Knowledge of spells
* Eye for detail (both your own posts and others posts)
* Inventiveness and creativeness as a whole

Please avoid one sentence posts. Try to develop your duelling posts into more than one paragraph. See the howler in the main forum for more information on how to duel successfully.

S.master's middle of his breakfast when he remembered his duel's today.
"Yo! Dueling Tournament round 4 is today! I forgot to prepare some boggy traps..." he left his half finished chocolate ice-cream and ran back to his dorm.

15 mins later.....

"So, this time, the dueling chamber is in the dungeon. Good, it'll chill me out." S.master said as he stood outside the door. "Let me guess, no one's here yet."

He entered the room. The room is quite smaller than the last one and it's also dim. There're blazing torches hanging in the air about 5metres from the ground. Only then, S realized that the room has no ceiling. He can see the sky but no Sun light can enter as it's still under the sea level between the walls of the castle.

S waved his wand summoning a comfortable chair. He sat there thinking about welcome plan.

"Thou-del-kai!" he muttered. 10 wands appeared before him, all pointing at the door. They are all operated by S.master.
S pulled out his chocolate frog and took a bite. "Oh, good. A Dumbledore card!"

Thou-del-kai : summon cloned wands to help the user. They can use all the minor spells but not the powerful spells.

Bella waited outside the door to the dueling room, she smiled, victorious. Late last night, a brilliant plan had occurred to her and she had rushed early this morning to activate it. Firstly, Bella had entered the dueling room earlier and set up a few traps. She had put a simple spell on the floor so that when Bella activated the trap, vines would quickly grow and grasp her opponent. Second, Bella had performed a complicated little charm on the ceiling to make it invisible. To her opponent, it would simply look like the ceiling was not there. Later through the duel, Bella would perform the counter charm to make the ceiling visble which would greatly confuse her opponent.

Bella waited by the door, hidden behind a giant vase for S to come. Bella knew he was a good dueler and had been fortunate to be on his team in the second round of the contest. Knowing this, Bella has made sure not to under estimate him. Bella watched as S darted past and entered the room. There was a short pause while he examined the room before Bella heard him summon a chiar. He then cloned his wand so his attacks againts her would be 10 times more powerful. Bella smiled and approched the door. ''Deathious Vinus (Death Vines)'' Bella muttered and the vines began to spring from the floor and trap S.

Bella the stepped gracefully into the room, for she was immune to the vine attack. ''Reducto (Blasts solid objects)'', Bella said and blasted one of the clone wands into smitherins. Bella repeated this, and destroyed all the clones. Bella then turned her head to see how S was dealing with the vines.

"Hello, Bella. Were you watching me?" S said as he climbed down from inside the giant vase and smiled as he watch his subsitution clone 'S' dealing with vines.
"Incendio Finite!" S pointed his wand at the clone 'S' which then blast into flames burning all vines away.

"Your traps are impressive and you've become alot stronger. But to become a true cool dueler, you have to see traps under the traps, tricks under the tricks."

S finished off his chocolate frog. "Those you see are only illusions. The truth is, I slept the whole night in this room."

"Dymato Velocify!" from the wand tip, a positive knocking force blast out. It usually knock the foe off their legs.

"Hm..It's strange that there is no flow of wind in this room.. The spell should be stronger if there is wind flow in the room."

S.master made sure that he's ready for any more tricks. He thought it'll be easy to take care of the foe in single-duel matches. He has a funny feeling that nearly all the duels he take part in this tournament are against his own friends.

Bella jumped in suprise as S appeared in the doorway, seeming to have come out of the very vase she had been hiding behind previously. The clone S had made of himself vanished with a simple wave of S's wand, S then proceeded to destroy all of the vines.

Bella was feeling quite stupid for being tricked and could feel her rage growing as S gave her a short lecture. Bella was taken offgaurd again as S sent a spell at her which knocked her off her feet. Sore and probably bruised, Bella got to her feet. It was impossible S could not feel the rage she was emmiting towards him. Bella Stopped and closed her eyes, a very stupid thing to do in a duel, she let go of her rage because after all, S was her friend and was just dueling. She was just upset that she was loosing.

Now that she was calm, Bella face S, ready to duel. ''You ready?''Bella called to him. Not waiting for an answer, Bella proceeded to attack. ''Pertrificus Totalus (Full Body Binder), Stupefy (Stunning spell)'' Bella shot at him. ''Protego (Shiel charm)'', Bella said, in anticipation of S's next move.

"Hm... quite fast but not fast enough." S.master turn to flash- step out of the spells way. But nothing happened.
"What ...!!!" S ducked to the floor. "Duh, I though my power recover full enough.."

The spells moved quite close that one of them even stun a hair on his head. "Yo, you are quite a fast learner." S focus his power to the eyes. "Trigen!" (Three eyes). Through his eyes, images of two other duelers appeared.

"Hm..Jamoki uses the force in his surrounding to creat creatures and spells to use as defend as well as offensive attacks. But he fail to cover-up his moves. John uses the magic inside him as an Invoker and creat his power to make nearly absolute defend as well as he could change into attacks. His powers are copy-protected." S thought himself. "This dueler, Bella uses only basic-spells. The power to creat those basic spells are no prob. for her as it's equal to the regeneration rate of power. That's impressive as it's a balance-type dueler."

"Anyway, it won't be some difficulty for me. Let see what strategy you have got.." S said as he picked up his wand and stand again.

"Avis!" a flock of birds flew out of S.master's wand tip. The birds flew up high and formed a formation. "Oppugno!" (Attack)

S realize something that the birds couldn't fly higher than a few metres from the floor as they were stop by walls.
"That's fishy.." the birds are nearly there, to their target. "Termine!"(Stop) as he see no point of attacking someone with a shield. He made the birds hover around her fast enough so that spells won't reach them.

Bella watched as S 'flash' stepped out of the way of her spells. Bella then noticed S was muttering to himself so Bella hoped that there wasnt an invisble creature or somthing that S was giving instructions to. Whilst Bella was contemplating the horrors that S might've summoned, S sent a flock of birds at her but called them off at the last minute. Bella hoped that S didnt feel sorry for her or anything.

''Livious (Come to life)'', Bella muttered, aiming her wand at the large wooden door. ''Oppugno (Attack)'', she said and watched as the heavy doors came to life and began attempting to squash him under their wheight and repeatedly whacked her friend over the head. Bella stiffled a laugh. ''Protego (Shield Charm)'', Bella muttered, providing her doors with some sort of defence. After all, S was quite an able wizard and could easily destroy the doors. At least now they would have some protection.

"Ouch! Damn, I should have let them attack." S, under the door. "Spells will be no use...so.." S.master quickly waved his wand.

"Subtirai!" his whole body under the door was replace by the vase.
S appeared in the place of vase. "Engorgio!"(Enlargement spell) he pointed at the flock of birds, which enlarge about 3 times their normal size.

"Oppugno!"(Attack) the birds headed for Bella. S.master made some distance from the door to ensure that he won't be under it again.

Bella watched happily as the doors beat up S, after only a short time, S did a tricky little charm so that he switched places with the vase outside. Bella winced as the doors realized this far too late, resulting in a loud smashing noise and a pile of porcelain where the vase had resided all but a few seconds ago.

Suddenly, the birds grew, alot. Then they attacked. Bella quickly tore off a small chunk of her sleve. ''Transfigauitins (Transfiguring Spell)'', Bella muttered, transfiguring it into a large chunk of everlasting bird food. Bella threw the bird seed into a corner of the room and watched as the birds followed it and began feasting. The transfiguring she had done was somthing Stephy had taught her in the Deatheaters Den.

Bella looked over at S, who had performed all this magice while standing outside the room. A wicked grin appeared on Bella's face as she summoned a giant wardrobe and placed it infront of the door. She knew this wouldnt keep S out for long but that wasnt the plan. Bella walked quickly over to the door and stood just to the side of it. As soon as S came bursting into the room, Bella would attack unexpectadly.

"Nice trick. Bird food...I should have feed them before the match." S.master found himself stuck.

The wardrobe keep him out of the room. "But not for long." S waved his wand.

But he didn't cast a single spell as he suddenly remembered that there might be more trick behind the wardrobe.

"Hologen!" S waved his wand. A holographic image of S.master appeared. It look exactly like him. He sent him through the wardrobe, making it look like he used a sort of spell and sink through the walls.

He also made sure that the image has some tricks in it.

''Stufey (Stunning Spell)'' Bella shouted as S burst through the wardrobe. Oddly enough, the stunning spell went straight through him. Bella frown in confusion until the realisation hit. It was a hologram. Thinking fast, Bella knew her whole 'supprise attack' plan was now completely useless.

Bella jumped infront of the of the wardrobe and shouted ''Reducto (Blasts solid objects)'' Blasting the wardrobe apart. Dust and splinters flew through the air, making it impossible for Bella to see through the doorway. ''Stufey (Stunning spell)! Pertrificus Totalus (Full Body Binder)! Expelliarmus (Disarming Charm)!'' Bella sent through the dust hoping her aim was close to accurate.

S jumped as the wardrobe exploded.

"I have bad feeling about thi.." before he end his sentence, he saw many spells coming to his direction through the dust.

"This is call slow-matrix!" S chronome the time in small area. The spell seem to be slow as he dodge them. He easily say good bye to stunning spell by tapping it with his wand tip, sending back. But he didn't notice the other spell. Suddenly he found himself up-side-down, hanging from his leg in the air.

The disarm spell nearly knock his wand out of his hand but he manage to grap it as the spell only hit about 30%.

S.master quickly muttered. "Dia-protego-rakai!" (Force veil surround user, raising his defend. It also, release user from effects.)

S landed on his back but he got up fast and ran into the dust. Before the foe could act, he dive onto the floor and appear behind Bella. "I think that's enough." S stored back his wand.
"I forfeit the match to you."

"It's been a great duel.." S turned around and left.
S feel that he had enough good duels. He feel like he would enjoy some rest.
