HEBB 2 - Reunion Party Hall

"Dani!" Violet yelled, "come on!" Violet started dancing like a fool but didnt care.

"Kim!" Violet asked. "Come on!" Violet yelled and grabbed Kim's hand.

"Kim! Oh my goodness! I didn't see you there," Pamela exclaimed excitedly. "Yeah, come dance with us!"

The song changed over to Britney Spears, "Gimme More". "I bet Rai will love this one," Pamela said as she adjusted her movements to fit the rythm of the new song.

"Eww." Violet siad and stopped. "If we listen to the wonderful brittany, please put on break the ice!" Violet asked.

Shausto stepped into the hall, looking around for people she knew.
Seeing some people dancing crazily, she walked over and danced along, despite the fact that she didn't really like the song after all.
"Hey guys! I turned out to be a bit late getting here, huh?"

"That's okay Kim! But you better join us at some point!"

"Hi," Pamela said to the girl who'd just joined them. "I don't think I've ever actually met you. I'm Pamela," she said, holding out her hand.

"don't think I've met you either, I'm Shausto." She took Pamela's hand in a loose shake as greeting.
As she listened to the song, she caught a few lyrics and couldnt help the wicked laughter that exploded from her. She loved how with some songs you could listen to them over and over again and yet not know what they're saying. And then when you finally listen to the lyrics, they just crack you up. Kind of like now.

She continued her random dance, breaking out all her insane moves hoping desperately that someone didn't end up getting whacked in the face or something.

"So good to finally meet you," Pamela said. Suddenly Shausto began laughing at something. Pamela was quite confused and unconsiously cocked her head to one side, but didn't say anything. She simply continued to sip her screwdriver.

Dani smiled and grabbed Violet and started dancing with her.

"Dani!" Violet complained. "Im tired of dancing. Lets sit!" Violet said.

"Ok," Dani said taking a seat and grabbing a drink, a mixture of Rum and Coke, her favorite. The edges of her vision were fading and she felt like she was in a tunnel for a second, happily knowing she was becoming drunk.

"Dani? DANI!" Violet said. "Lover, girly, bestie?" Violet said. "Great, she's about drunk." Violet said and poked Dani. "Hello?"

Dani giggled, "Sorry Mate," she said drainning the last of her glass, she signaled to the waiter to bring her another glass. Leaning over Violet she kissed her hard on the mouth, "What were you saying love?"

Violet eye's widen whe Dani kissed her. When Dani pulled back, Violet averted her eyes to the ground. "Dani, your drunk." She said and stood up. "I think you need to stop with the drink."

Dani was laughing now, "I," she said her laughing flying away "Can't..." she realized that alcohol was taking over her life, that sobered her up slightly.

Violet grabbed Dani's drink and poured it out. "No!" She said. "No more." Violet told her and kissed her. Violet pulled back and shook her lightly. "Come on, lets get you sitting down somewhere else." Violet siad, walking towards the wall. "Come sit down."

Dani followed her numbly, then the drink started kicking in again, her vision going black, she wouldn't remember any of this. Violet had her hand in Dani's and Dani spun her around singing.

"Slow Down, the world isn't watching us break down." (A twist in my story Secondhand serenade) and she started Dancing.

Violet glared and jerked Dani's hand. "I said come on." Violet sneered.

"What?" Dani said giggling, "Where are we going hon?"

"We are going to sit by the wall and get you sobered up some." Violet siad.

Dani shook her head, "I want to be free!" She said.

"Fine then." Violet said and walked off from her. "We are over!" Violet yelled and went over to the wall to find someone to talk to, tears pouring off her face.

Dani was so drunk it didn't even sink in that Violet had run off, She twirled and then fell on her bum, she laughed.

Violet walked over to wall and sat down, tears pouring from her eyes. "Where is Pam when you need her?" Violet asked herself

Dani stood up laughing and swaying completly forgetting the previous three minutes, "Violet?" she called out.

Violet wiped the teasr from her cheeks and tripped over something. "Dam. I cant do anything right." She said and sat agsint the wall.

Dani was laughing again, "Violet are we playing hide and seek?"

Violet, still crying, glared at Dani. "You wanted to be free, so I broke up with you. Leave me alone!" Violet said and stood up to find someone else to talk to and spend the rest of her time with.

What is she talking about? dani thought and followed her anyway, "I did?" she asked her.

"Leave me alone." Violet said again and turned another way. "Your drunk and you dont want to listen to anything I say."

Dani shrugged and picked up another glass of something red, she staggered to a table talking to herself on the way, "I'm not drunk...I've probably had maybe thirteen rummers...what did I do, or say.."

Violet sat at a table by herself, watching the others have a good time. "Nice going, Vi. you lost the one you love because she likes to be drunk." Violet told herself.

Dani finished the red concation and waved to the waiter again, and pointed to her empty glass, he rushed over and refilled it, "why thank you." she said after he left.

Violet glared at Dani and stood up adn walked over to her. Grabbing the drink, she poured it on her head. "This is what drunks like you get!" She shouted and threw the cup down.

Dani felt her glass being ripped out of her hand, "hey," she started to say then she felt the liquid run through her hair and down her back, and it was cold, she was shot back to reality, "Wait...what? Violet, come back."

"Why? So you can do something that makes me mad?" Violet asked, tears threating to pour from her eyes again.

Dani was sobering up quickly now, "I'm sorry, I just like my liqiour, I can't help it, I can't help myself when I'm drunk."

"And so you have to make a fool of yourself?" Violet asked her.

"Um..yeah I guess, I can't promise you I wont ever get drunk again, because I'm sure I will, but I love it, I love it and I hate it, its a part of me." Dani said, looking down as the rum was shaking into her eyes

"So whats more inportant? Me or...that stuff?" Violet asked, fearing the answer.

"Violet, you know the answer," Dani said picking up her hand and holding it. "I love you, but for a long time alcohol was the only thing in my life, if I could I'd stop drinking right now, but I can't, its an addiction so strong..."

Violet jerked her hand out of hers and walked off. "Yeah, I know it." She whispered to herself

Dani rolled her eyes, Violet had missunderstood her.

Fine Dani thought, I guess its over.

She walked to the bathroom, sat in a stall, and cried.

Violet saw Kim. "can I sit here?" Violet asked her
