Weather: Fuzzy warmy weather perfect for a good day's match.

Remember to observe the new Quidditch rules: day one is for arriving to the pitch, after which the referee will post and the game can properly begin and chasers can no longer immediately state that they have scored. They must wait for the Keeper to post. See this post for more info.

(Hufflepuff Seeker)

::Dani walked onto the pitch in a black mini skirt and a yellow tank top, she was wearing her golden heels again and they gave her an extra five inches of height. With her broom in her left hand she strolled out to the center of the pitch, the stilettos were punching holes into the ground as she moved swiftly to the middle of the field.

"Hello?" she called out. "Anyone, there?" she heard the response of silence, and had a small grin on her face, remembering the Hufflepuff Ravenclaw game where she and Elana raced each other around the pitch. Good times, she thought to herself.

Swinging her legs over her broom, she ran her fingers through her hair and positioned herself on the broom, kicking off from the ground she let out a Whoop and the raced herself around the arena.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)
*super model status?* *haha, jk*

Kim strolled onto the pitch holding her broom. She was wearing shorts and her new purple 'Fox Co.' shirt. She had her purple vans on and a pair of high pig-tails. She looked around- wearing her Dolce & Gabana sunglasses- at the crowd, who was slowly filling the stands. She waved at nobody in particular and hopped on her broom. She flew up into the air and she looked at Dani. "Hey, girly. You are looking beautiful for playing Quidditch. Hope it doesn't get dirty. How you been?" Kim asked friendly.

Kim thought about the game while she was waitiing for Dani's reply. I hope everyone shows up, she thought. We need full forces to play a good game.

(Ravenclaw Beater)

Stephy came running out of the locker room wearing her blue qudditch robes and holding the beater's bat in her right hand while she had her broom in her left hand. SHe had her hair tied up in a pony tail so to keep her hair out of her eyes as she scanned the pitch for any bludgers. She was excited for this match, this would be her first game since the last day of school and should wouldnt be having exams and homework sneaking into her head as she tried to focus on the match but even though she didnt have school she was worrying about colleges and her upcoming test. Trying to forget about that Stephy continued running out on the pitch til she made it in the center of the field. Here she threw her leg over her broom and kicked hard off the ground rising high into the sky.

After gaining a few yeards off of the ground, Stephy stopped flying higher and hovered in the air looking around the pitch to see who was all there. She quickly spotted that apart from her there was also Dani and Kim. "Hey Dani, Hey Kim!!" Stephy screamed out as she waved her arms in the air to get thier attention. "Nice weather isnt it. It's not too hot nor too cold. It's the right temperature." Stephy then did a few loops in the air beforing coming to a stop and waiting for the game to finally begin

(Ravenclaw Keeper)

Alice walked nervously onto the quidditch pitch. She was dressed in full Ravenclaw Quidditch gear and was keen not to be late for her first game. Unfortunatly, Polly who was the Ravenclaw Keeper was busy with exams and such so Alice was filling in for her. Once arriving on the pitch, Alice spotted Stephy and Kim, plus a Hufflepuff she didnt know. Alice flashed a smile at the three of them before mounting her Nimbus 2001 and shooting into the air. Once airbourne, Alice did a few laps of the pitch to warm up before flying over to where the people were congrigated. Alice heard Stephy comment about the weather and nodded in agreement, it was perfect quidditch conditions, somthing which Alice was extreemly thankful for. She was nervous enough trying to fill in for Polly who was an awesome keeper with the whole school watching that she didnt need silly things such as the weather to put her off. ''Hey guys!'' Alice said excitedly to her teammates and the Hufflepuff whose name was Dani, somthing Alice had figured out from Stephy's rather excentric screaming. Alice beamed, the quidditch vibes getting the better of her. Nervous as she was she couldnt help the extreeme feeling of excitement that was overwhelming her.

(Referee)

Raistlin stormed in the field and before everyone knew it all balls were released in the air and the game was ready to start.

(hufflepuff beater!)

Jamie raced onto the pitch,
"oh! oh! at least im not the last one here!" jamie said breathless.

Jamie looked at his scruffy quddicth uniform and then looked and dani and Kim...
"what in carnation are you doing?" he yelled at Dani...
"aren't you supposed to be wearing the uniform?" Jamie asked her lowering his voice realising he was being loud.

Jamie didn't wait for a reply but mounted his broom and kicked off hard on the ground. The beaters bat inb Jamies hand was now coustumised to suit the huffie team... Jamie had enchanted yellow starts to sparkle after the bat making it look very impressive. he smiled at his good charms work.

"we like to party, rock your party!" Jamie sung to himself flying around happily...
Jamie saw one of the bludgers flying not far away from him..
"humph, why not?" Jamie laughed,
He hit the bludger towards the ravenclaw goals and hoped it would give the keeper a bit of a fright, he wasn't aiming to hit her, but aiming the bludger to go through the hoop...
"let the party begin!" jamie yelled

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim waved at all the incoming Quidditch players and the fill-in Keeper, Alice. Kim saw Raistalin release the balls and leave the pitch. Kim reconed it was time to get moving but was just in time to warn Alice of a Bludger that was headed her way. "Heads up, Alice!!" Kim wailed. Kim hoped alice would take heed of her warning and pay attention. SHe looked to Stephy and pointed at Jamie facially saying "are you gonna let him get away with that?"

She turned her attention to the falling Bludger. She swooped down and caught it up. She headed off towards the Huffie end of the pitch. Kim had forgotten she was wearing shades. SHe threw them into her robes hastily and then cursed that there was no Keeper, so the game would be a little screwey.

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

"Going to the pitch, the pitch, the pitch/ We're going to the pitch to kick some Huffle butt/ We won't be home till we've won, till we've won/ We won't be home till we've won/ Because it's what we do/ Tee dum, tee dee/ A teedle ee do tee day," sung Elana to the tune of 'Following the Leader' from Peter Pan as she skipped into the Ravenclaw locker rooms for a quick change. As she got into her royal blue robes she continued under her breath, "We're out for fun/ And this is the game we play/ Come on, join in/ And fly your troubles away/ With a teedle ee dum/ A teedle do tee day!"

She burst out of the locker room with her broom, swung a leg over it and kicked off from the ground. The weather was perfect for a match - sunny, but not overly so; warm, but not hot; breezy, but not overly windy...She took stock of what was going on as she rose into the air, a final "A teedle ee do tee day" escaping from her lips. Spotting two yellow robes amongst three other blue ones, she smiled and raced after Kimmy. The balls had already been released and so, naturally, the Quaffle had gone to the Chaser they had had on the field. Off to a good start, she thought, catching up to her partner.

(Ravencalw Beater)

Stephy watched as Alice and Jamie now entered onto the field and mounted thier brooms. Stephy gave Alice a huge wave and gave her thumbs up so as to encourage her for the match. Stephy knew that Alice was going to do great. As she returned her attention back to Rai she saw that he had just releashed the balls. Stephy tightened her grip on the bat as she flew off towards the nearest bludger. As she neared the ball she threw back her arm and using her wieght, she applied as much force as she could in hitting the bludger. SHe heard a loud crack that filled the air and the ball went zooming right towards Dani.

As the bludger soared towards Dani, Stephy heard Kim yell out to her and looking around she saw that the other Bludger was heading stright for Alice. "Oh no you don't" Stephy cried out as she flattened herself on her broom and quickly acceralted towards the ball. Thanks to her broom Stephy made it in time to save Alice from harms way. Stephy flew inches in front of Alice and was going to throw back her arm so that she could swing it forward and direct the ball somewhere else but she knew that she wouldnt have enough time. Instead she held her bat right in front of her chest and the bludger flew right at the bat. The bludger hit the bat and pushed it back into Stephy's chest before bouncing off of the bat and flying off in the opposite direction. Stephy felt the air leave her lungs from the bat hitting her and for a few minutes she just hovered there in the air trying to catch her breath. Within a few minutes Stephy was able to regain her breathe and she gave a thumbs up to her team mates so that they wouldnt worry about weather or not she was hurt. Stephy then flew up above the pitch and looked down to see if there were any other bludgers she could go after while trying to forget about the throbing pain in her chest

(Ravenclaw Keeper)

Alice shot of straight to the goal hoops as soon as Raistlin released the balls. Excitement was mixed with a slightly nauseous feeling as Alice watched the Quaffle. Thankfully, Kim had great reactions and had snatched it up before the Hufflepuffs could put their gruby paws near it. Beaming slightly, Alice continued to watch.

''Heads up Alice'', Kim called to her. Alice frowned, quite confused before it dawned on her that the only logical reason Kim would say this in a quidditch match would be Bludgers. Alice began frantically searching before she spotted a large black dot that was becoming larger by the second. Alice cringed and braced herself for the impact. She closed her eyes and waiting for the thud and the dull pain but it didnt come.Instead, a short gasp of breath came from inches infront of her. Alice open her eyes and saw Stephy had saved her! Stephy had stopped the bludger but she looked a bit winded and was still trying to catch her breath.

Alice launched herself at Stephy, hugging her tightly in thanks for possibly saving her life. ''Oh Stephy!!! With my balence problems a tiny bump could have me knocked straight to the ground!!!'' Alice squeaked. When Alice finally letting go, Stephy flew of in search of more bludgers. And Alice noticed Elana had walked onto the pitch. Hufflepuff only had one beater and there seeker so far whilst Ravenclaw had two chasers, a beater plus the keeper. Alice smiled, hoping Elana and Kim could have some fun with the quaffle, seeing as no other players currently on the field played with that ball.

(COMMENTATOR)

"Test ... test ... is this thing working?", Cris asked, pointing her wand to her throat. "Oh yeeees!", she screamed, and her voice bellowed over the pitch rather shockingly. "Uh, oops, didn't want to scare you there!", she said apologetically and coughed.

"Well then - let's see whom we've already got: for Hufflepuff: Seeker Dani - in her best party outfit - and Beater Pickles. Not bad, but the Ravenclaw team does seem to have slightly more players in the air: Chasers Kim and Elana, Beater Stephy and Keeper Alice. ... lookin' good, lookin' good," Cris said as her voice faded off and her head turned into the direction of a an ... aye, aye, aye ... rather handsome member of the opposite sex, sitting somewhere in the crowd.

"Cristina! Concentrate!", she heard a shrill voice behind her. "What - ? Um, sorry, Professor!"

Regaining her countenance, Cris once again turned her eyes to the game. "Looks like the weather is at its best today and the players sure do seem willing to use it to their benefit - let's hope we're going to see a great game!"

"Oh! - that is the Quaffle Kim has caught there, isn't it? Well - let's hope her and Elana will show us some good moves - although I must say I hope the Hufflepuffs will oppose some more resistance, as none of their Chasers, nor their Keeper is here so far!"

"But ouch! - what is this?", she asked, her eyes zooming towards Stephy. "The Ravenclaw beater managed to save the team's Keeper just in time - and with what dedication, ladies and gentlemen! - she indeed got hurt herself, must have been painful ... but she's back in the game! ... Awesome!", Cris concluded, happy that the move had ended well, after all.

"Let's give them all a hearty clap, shall we?", Cris asked the crowd and started cheering herself, shouting "GO TEAMS, GO TEAMS!"

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim had been flying with the Quaffle in hand but had stopped to watch the whole scene. It seemed that Stephy had saved Alice from the nasty Bludger. Elana had appeared on the scene and was now flying next to her. She looked in her hand at the Quaffle and said apologetically, "Well I was gonna score, but they," here, Kim pointed towards Alice and Steph, " made me lose focus. And besides should we really score if they don't have defense? What am I talking about, of course we should. Let's go, shall we?" Kim finished by tossing Elana the Quaffle.

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

"Don't mind if I do," said Elana, chuckling as she caught the Quaffle. She flew up closer to the goals and took aim at the center hoop. Embarrassing as it would be if she missed when there wasn't a Keeper to catch it, any other player in her way and very little wind, she carefully threw it at the center hoop. Hoping that some other players would show up (boring when there's little competition), Elana bit her lip and looked up at the scoreboard and Cris. If her aim had been true, her friend should be making the announcement and adding ten points to their score, besides the noise of the crowd. She hadn't noticed a difference yet, and looked back at the goals to see.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim laughed at Elana and followed her to the goal. She watched as Elana got up close and threw it in. She held her breath as if it was the moment of truth. She looked at Elana and the hoops together.

There seemed to be no action elsewhere. The crowd was loud but everybody esle seemed to just be hanging there. She was glad the Huffie Beater hadn't wizened up yet, or her and Elana could be severely sore.

{Hufflepuff Seeker}

::Dani rolled her eyes a Jamie and pulled her robes out from around her waist laughing at the comentators comment, she was putting them on as the balls were released, she zoomed after a golden ball about the size of an egg and made her way in circles around the pitch. She passed by Elana and waved gently but that momentary second her eyes were off the snitch it had zoomed away. Snaping her fingers she frowned and lifted herself and the broom higher into the air and looked down at the game.

She heard a crack of a beaters bat and saw one of the black devils heading her way, she swore and did a sloth grip roll to avoid it.

(Ravenclaw Captain and Beater)

Herby gathered her belongings. Who knew moving would be so annoying? Flicking her wand to help organize her books into alphabetical order. Trying to rush, and still make it to the pitch in time took forever.

After was seemed like an hour or two, she gathered her broom and bat and headed out. Upon arrival she noticed the referee already sent the balls free and the game had already started. Jumping on her broom, she took off to find her goal a free bludger.

(Ravenclaw Beater)

As Stephy scanned the field she quickly noticed that Dani had avoided the bludger that she sent after her and she quickly flew past Dani right after the black ball. As she neared the Bludger Stephy threw back her arm and started to swing her bat around in circles hoping that when she hit the Bludger it would gain a lot of speed and power. As she neared it she heard a loud crack that indicated that her bat had hit the ball and along with a shiver that traveled up the bat and her arm. Looking she watched as the Bludger soeared off towards the Hufflepuff beater this time.

Stephy then turned her broom around to see how the rest of her team mates were doing and she quickly got distarted. Looking at the ground she saw that Herby had just entered the pitch. Stephy watched as Herby mounted her broom and she flew right over to Herby and said "Wonderful game for quidditich. Are you ready to take out some Hufflepuffs?".

{Hufflepuff Seeker}

Stephy zoomed past Dani making her hair fly in the breeze her mother-in-law caused, she gripped her broom tightly expecting the bludger to come back her way, but at the crack of the bludger she saw it wasn't aimed for her but jamie's back.

"Jamie!" she called to the beater, "Watch out!"

She hoped the boy would hear her warning and she continued to look for the snitch, looking down she saw a golden refection on her feet and almost jumped in shock before remembering the golden glow was her shoes. Laughing at herself, she returned her eyes to the pitch hoping that more Hufflepuffs would show up, preferably their chasers.

"Come on guys," she muttered under her breath. She held her broom steady and waited hoping that something would happen. And it did, she saw the snitch! She took off after it, making a beeline for the ravenclaw's middle goal, where the snitch was hovering next to the ground.

Jamie heard his name being mentioned, he hated it when that happened,
"what?/"
*bang* *whollop*

Jamies eyes were wide with pain,
"no fair.." he whispered as the bludger hit him square in the chest.
Jamie fell from the sky down and his the ground hard,
"oh!" Jamie groaned trying to get back up.

{Hufflepuff Seeker}

Her eyes were on the golden snitch, but Jamie was hurt, she figured there would always be time to catch the snitch seeing as the Ravenclaw seeker hadn't shown up yet. Dani pulled her eyes off of the golden ball and changed direction, she was next to Jamie in seconds.

"Jay?" she asked him as she neared, "Are you alright?" She got off her broom and rushed to his side, he looked like he was trying to get up, Dani went to help him, her heels sinking into the ground as she rushed to his side, "Here, Let me help you."

(Ravenclaw Captain and Beater)

Herby glanced around and noticed Stephy flying towards her. With a small whisper in her ear "Wonderful game for quidditich. Are you ready to take out some Hufflepuffs?" As if it was a secret code, a blink and a nod towards stephy meant she was ready for battle.

Flying away from her, Herby started to find a bludger soaring off in the distance. As if a small wind blew the bludger towards her, Herby gave it a small smack to show her talent of control. Years of experience played a huge role in her talents. Glancing a bit to find a target, she noticed Stephy sending a bluger straight for Jamie, and with that a huge smack could be heard as he was sent plummeting towards the ground.

A smirk started to form on her face, as Dani started to chase after him. Now Huffies were down two players. Still smacking the bludger around, Herby flew over to stephy. “Good shot!”

(huffie beater)
Jamie winced in pain for a while before sitting up...
he pointed his wand at his chest...
"episky!" he groaned feeling the warm sensation full his rib cage..

"what are you doing here?" Jamie asked Dani only noticing her,
"get going you have a snitch to catch!"

Jamie lifted his broom and bat which where lying beside him. He got up onlto the ground as mounted his broom..

Up in the air

Jamie dodged all the members of the opposite team until he came to Herby...
"hello!" he yelled at her.
Jamie flew until he was right infront of her, the end of his broom was touching the top of hers, Jamie saw a bludger head towards him,
"nice day for a bludger stand..."
Jamie turned around on his broom to distract Herby and then out his arms behind him to hold onto the broom handle. Just in time Jamie did a backflip to the right postion again. But while Jamie did the backflip he let the on comming bludger pass through his arms... he waited for the crack that would tell him Herby was a gonner.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim watched as the tragic event happend to Jamie. She was still waiting for the ding of the Quaffle shot by Elana....

(RAVENCLAW CHASER)

Elana wasn't disappointed when she looked back to see if her shot had gone in - it had! The ding sounded and cheers erupted from the Ravenclaw supporters, she noticed elatedly. Grinning she gave Kim a hug, shouting, "We did it!" over the noise of the crowd. "Now a few more like that and the game's in the bag!" Still beaming, she flew back into position to anxiously await the throwing in of the Quaffle. With two Ravenclaw Chasers and no Huffle ones, the scoring should be fine. However, they were missing their Seeker while the Huffles had theirs...

Ah well, need not worry about point gain when you just got your team ahead in the game. She kept her eyes focused on the ref as he gathered the Quaffle and prepared to throw it back.

(Ravenclaw Beater)

Stephy heard Herby "Nice Shot" and looking around she saw that her Bludger had hit Jamie and now he was lying on the ground haven just fallen off of his broom. I hope's he's alright. I didnt mean to hurt him. What if he can't play no more? I feel so horrible Stephy thought as she forgot about going after the Bludgers and watched as Dani flew down to Jamie. Stephy watched as Jamie got back to his feet and then flew back into the air again. Good he's well enough to continue playing she thought as she returned to finding another Bludger. She loved playing the position Beater but she did feel bad for those who got hit by the Bludgers she sends at them.

Stephy flew around on her broom and in minutes she spotted one of the Bludgers flying towards Elana. Stephy flattened herself on her broom and headed stright for her direction. She knew as she gained distance that she was going to get there in time to save Elana because the Bludger wasnt moving that fast. Once Stephy caught up to the ball she sat back up on her broom and threw back her arm. She knew she hit the Bludger because of the loud crack that followed afterwards followed by the shiver from the impact. Then as she drew back her arm she felt a sharp pain in her chest. "Dang Bludger" she said as she tried not to pay any attention to the injury that she recieved at teh begininning of the match.

Looking around Stephy quickly spotted Jamie who was in front of Herby with a Bludger heading for the both of them. Stephy knew Jamie was up to something and she flattened hersellf on her broom again and headed stright over for the two of them. Stephy then watched as Jamie did a backflip and thats when Stephy screamed out "Herby watch out. There's a Bludger in front of you" Stephy knew that there was nothing she could do this far away from her so she hoped that Herby would be able to react quickly enough to dodge the ball

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim was excited to see that Elana's ball had made it through the hoop! She whooped and hugged Elana back. She watched as the referee got the ball and he threw it- to her. She thought it'd go to Elana...oh, well, she thought...

Kim caught the ball and looked at Elana and asked, "Should we play with it, do you think, or just keep tossing it in?"

(huffie beater!)

Jamies eyes watered as the quaffle went through the huffie post.
"damn! were is our keeper?" he shouted to Dani...
"come on come one..." Jamie saw a bvludger while he said these words and smacked it in temper over to Kim...
"teach her to be smart!" Jamie whispered violently

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim was still thinking about what to do and suddenly heard the whir of a Bludger being smacked. She turned around with the Quaffle still in hand, and saw the ball soaring towards her. She freaked out and did the Sloth Grip Roll, to save herself. She dropped the Quaffle and didn't care.

All the blood was rushing to her head as the ball came towards her. It didn't miss her completely though, it slammed her right knee. She screamed as blooed poured out of it. She limply hung for a minute and then swung her body onto her broom. She flipped back on her broom and then yelled at Jamie and was angry because she dropped the Quaffle. She cursed and flew downward after the ball. She caught if perfectly as it was about to hit the floor, she caught it 10 feet above the ground.

Kim flew back up to height and was livid. She glared at Jamie out of pain and anger. She slammed the Quaffle towards the centr hoop and waited for the ding. She used her robes as a towel, and wiped up some bood from her knee.

{Hufflepuff Seeker}

Dani rolled her eyes at Jamie, she'd just tried to help, sides why was he worried, she was the best seeker Hufflepuff ever had, speaking lightly of course. She threw her leg over the broom again and soared back into the air. Glancing around for the little golden ball.

Where is our Keeper?! She heard Jamie yell, she shrugged but she was thinking the same thing, where was the rest of the badgers? Not about to find out, Dani looked for the snitch and caught sight of it. HEr smile spread wide across her face and she took off after the golden ball.

"I've got you now" she said to no one in particular.

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim was still rolling in pain and anger towards the Hufflepuff Beater. SHe was really mad when she saw that Dani had seen the Snitch. Where the heck is OUR Seeker?!

She focused on the Quaffle, and looked up at the scoreboard. It hadn't changed, yet. She wondered if she made it??

(huffle beater)

Jamie watched wide eyed as Dani chased after the snitch,
"come on come on, please..." Jamie cried out, his qudditch ment everything to him. He was very competitive.

Jamie held his bat in his hand ready for the next blow to the bludger

(Ravenclaw Chaser)

Kim glanced at the scoreboard. She was elated to hear the ding! that meant Ravenclaw was up by twenty points. She screamed and looked over at Elana, to see her reaction. She looked at Jamie as if to say "in your face". She waited to see if the referee would throw her the Quaffle again.

{Hufflepuff Seeker}

She was so close to it now, so close to that little golden devil, smiling she reached out her hand and felt for the wingtips, they brushed her fingers so softly, her smile spread across her face as she streached her hand out further.

"Come on," she said. Willing herself forwards. She blinked and felt the wingtips flutter away from her fingers, "what?" she said looking at the empty space in front of her. There was no way she'd missed that perfect grasp, no way.

In a split second the snitch had changed directions and wafted to the left and down, it soared through the air and Dani was right behind it once again.

(Ravencalw Beater)

Stephy watched as the Bludger that was sent at Kim by Jamie hit her even though she tried not avoid it. Well at least it hit her leg. It could have been much worse. After this game is over im going to have to make sure that she goes stright to the hospital wing to have it fixed. Stephy thought as she chased after the Bludger that had hit Kim

Once she caaught up to the Bludger, Stephy quicly spotted that dani was now chasing after the snicth and she knew what she had to do. She threw back her arm and hit the ball as hard as she could with her bat. Trying not to pay any attention to the pain shooting in her chest, Stpehy watched as the Bludger flew off towards Dani.
