You look quite annoyed with that frog, dont you? There is poor little Fred, begging you to turn him back. Dosn't he look sad? I think that is a sad look! Herbaceoustraitorous, why would you be annoyed with the frog if you had not turned him into one! Any other proper princess would kiss it! I say you are guilty! Do you wish to defend yourself?

Herby just sat in the tall red chair, surrounded by each juror member. Giggling inside, she thought it was funny. Some stuff was completely blown out of portion and some didn’t even happen. Like the fact that she didn’t turn that nasty boy into a frog.

Taking a deep breath, she started pleading her case to Elle.

”First off, that eye witness account hand-drawn image should be stricken from the record. The percentage of correct identification from an eye witness is in the range of 34 to 48%.Most false identification is based on poor visibility (bad lighting, brief duration) and second is faulty memory. And as this image looks like the person is standing in the pond. I’d classify that as poor visibility.”

Herby watched as the jurors continued to eye her, like she was a parasite that must be squashed immediately. There was no way she was going to go down for this and that was all there was to it. Noticing a glass of water in front of her, she decided that it was a great time to take a pause. Who knew it was going to be so hot in this court room as she took another sip of water.

Herby continues her innocence.”By the way, there is no way that I’m dating King William. He’s like old and bald. Plus I’m pretty sure; Queen Marry would be on trial explaining why she killed me. Uh, no thanks.The second evidence is a bit confusing. Who is that chick and the frog, cause clearly that’s not me as I’m sitting right here. So don’t you think that if I had turned that man into a frog, then I must have also turned myself?! Clearly a forged image, and should also be stricken from the record.”

Turning a bit, Herby could tell the jurors were becoming restless. Probably due to the fact that the more they breathed the hotter it became. Elle continued to ramble on about frogs and chocolate.

“Chocolate Frogs you say? Ha, don’t make me laugh. If men could taste like chocolate don’t you think that women around the world would be husbandless? And besides, I’m not on trial for turning men into chocolate frogs, and that’s all I have to say on that subject.
Elle sat down, as Katherine stood up. Without introducing herself, Katherine blundered on as if she had become the lawyer. Again it was based of images that Herby had never seen in her life.

Smirking a bit, Herby tried not to laugh. It totally wouldn’t look so great on her part. ”Look, Kat. Maybe that’s me, and maybe its not. Its so hard to tell now a days, as looks continue to change over and over again. Why on earth would I be happy to see a frog? It’s a FROG, there slimly and croaks.” Herby started to wiggle a bit, at the thought of even kissing on would make she upchuck for sure.

Sure you can say that but your guilty! I'm pretty sure having a can of Frog Food is pretty weird, seeing as they are in your words "slimy and croaks" So I'm pretty sure this is what you feed them, I mean your men.

"Since you claim not to have turned him into a frog and thus, no where near him at the time, where were you at the time he was turned into a frog?"Smartie asked.

"I heard Herby that you turned this man into a frog because of a date that went bad." Stephy said. "You and him were to meet at a resturant but he never showed up. You became angried and went to his house. There you saw him with another date and so your barged into his house and turned him into a frog. The young lady who was there at time confessed"

Jamie raised an eyebrow,
"mmm.... likely story Miss. Herby! I suggest that all the evidance here suggests that you are guilty. What about the frog? Do we have him as a witness?" Jamie asked the jury

"If you cannot bring in any of the wittnesses to defend you, then what shall you do? We have evidence and you do not!" Katherine said. "Yeah, where is said frog today? Why can't he be here? Did you turn his ride into a frog too?" she asked.

Herby started to fiddle a bit. The chair she had been sitting on for over an hour now had started to make her bottom go numb. Turning to face the Judge, Herby gave her pleasant smile and tried to make her voice sound as sweet as possible.“Your Honor, Sorry for interrupting. I was wondering if it was possible to have a 10 minute break, to freshen up a bit and get quick drink.”

Please say yes, my butt is killing me and I think my toes have fallen asleep.Herby spoke to herself. She batted her eyes a little bit, with that a smile formed on her face as the grabble smacked the oak desk.”Please be back here by 1:00 pm sharp, enjoy your recess, spoke Judge Elfie.

If she could fly, now would be the time. She need to confront her counsel and somehow return the circulation to her toes. After was seemed like a couple of seconds, recess was over and the trail continued with Herby back in the witness stand.Violet approached Herby and stared the look of death. She was looking quite remarkable in her cute black business suit, and her shoes were gorgeous. Who knew lawyers knew how to dress? Pinching herself, she tried to snap out of this spell of staring at her shoes. Clearly, after the trial she was going to ask her where she had gotten those heels.

Clearing her throat, Violet began to speak. “Sure you can say that but your guilty! I'm pretty sure having a can of Frog Food is pretty weird, seeing as they are in your words "slimy and croaks" So I'm pretty sure this is what you feed them, I mean your men.”Herby nose began to crinkle a bit, confusion started to sink in. She clearly may dress lovely but really needs to learn to control her outburst. Herby’s lawyer Smithson stood up and objected to Violets badgering of the witness, me!

“Miss, Riddle. You must refrain from accusing the witness before a guilty sentence is processed. Remember innocent until proven guilty.” Judge Elfie, glanced towards the jury. “Jurors please stricken that statement from memory.” Herby began to smirk, the less questions she has to answer the better it will be.

It seemed it was now Smarties turn. Apparently the jurors were asking one question at a time. Smartie unlike Violet didn’t dress as lovely, and Herby knew this was going to be a problem once she started asking her questions. ”Easy, I was at home stitching. I need to catch up on some old quits I started awhile ago and lately I had some time to spare.Smartie sat down, and Stephy stood up. It was hard to judge how she was going to question her. Her style wasn’t great but it wasn't completely worthless either. You could tell she spent hours to look appropriate for this case.

“I think you have your story mixed up. I never, never have ever wanted to date Fred. He so isn’t my type and his parents would never let me date him, a royal blood. Ask anyone, they know. And where is this young lady? Why isn’t she on trial? Its completely possible that she could have done it. Now I have a question for you. If I was to turn Fred into a frog, why in the world would I leave a witness behind?”

Smirking, Herby knew she had caught the jurors in their web of lies. It seemed a bit odd now that first it happened at a pond, now in a house and somehow there’s a new witness whom isn’t at the trial. Clearly someone is pointing the blame towards her.

Jamie approached the stand and raised an eyebrow,
"mmm.... likely story Miss. Herby! I suggest that all the evidence here suggests that you are guilty. What about the frog? Do we have him as a witness?" Jamie asked the jury

“Uh you’re the lawyer, shouldn’t you know? How is that a question directed towards me?”

Herby’s lawyer stood up again. “Your honor, this is getting ridiculous. Now they are asking my client questions that don’t even relate to this case.”

“Sustained! Crown, please refrain from asking questions from with you already know the answer to.” Spoke Judge Elfie. The closer this trial go to the end, the more Herby felt as though she was winning

Stephy listened to what all she had to say and then quickly formed some more questions. "You are correct. If indeed you did turn him into a frog I do agree that you wouldnt og have left a witness. I would question if that other girl did it but she is not a witch." Stephy then stood there for awhile and started to put her questions together.

"You say that this man isnt your type, why is that? Did he do something to you or isnt the chemistry right between the two of you?"

Rigby eyed her friend, Herby. Friendship would have to be put aside.

"Herby, you sure are smirking a lot for an innocent acccused of turning a prince into a frog. You stated that you aren't allowed to date royals. Perhaps there is a bit of jealousy towards the royal family? Jealousy is a very hard emotion to deal with. I submit that you turned Prince Fred into a frog out of sheer spite! No failed romance, no heated argument, but plain, old fashioned jealousies!"

This court room is now closed

It is the judges decision that Herby is INNOCENT
