"will they like it as long as you don't force them to hurt themselves its in there blood, like how witches and wizards love to drink pumpkin juice"said trixie feeling the same way about house elves as here father.

"nauh have you ever seen a freed house elf thay are way happier then thay ever are being worked to death" she said verry protective over them no one should beused as a slave no matter how smal they are.

"I've seen house elves that where released from a family they where very loyal to and they cried there eyes out"said trixie

"really because i have known families that have been nothing but nice to house elves and they were still overwhelmed with joy when freed. no one should be a slave how would you like it if you were forced to cook and clean and wear rags all the time and without magic i bet you would be verry upset even if you were close to the familey" alice said strongley she had never liked the idea of it.

not me but the house elves have a distinct love for helping witches and wizards, the only way they would be mad about it is if they where scarred by there master"said trixie

"well i happen to know that the house elfs here are mad and unhappy and the headmaster doesnt threten them so then explaine that?" she asked angerley.

"when Dolby the house elf came and was being paid for his work the house elves treated him like an outcast"said trixie

"because he is free he shouldnt be working they only treated him like an outcast because they were jelouse have you ever sat down and just talked to a couple of them there lives are misrebal" she stated.

"there lives only look miserable, if your a house elf, your life's only fulfillment is to help a wizarding family until they set you free most house elves don't know what to do when there free so they become disappointed that they have nothing to do.

"how fair is it that there only goal in life is to work like servants to stuck up rich families untill they die or get set free wich is verry unlikely if wizzards never imprisioned them and took controll of them then they wouldnt get upset that they dont know what to do in life." she stated brushing her hair back due to the fact that it was covering one of her eyes fully.

"hey its not fair that we can't tell muggles that we can use magic but we do so we can survive"said trixie "its how the world evolved, we can't tell the muggles because they will want us to do magic for them and the house elves have to serve us because they can't survive with out having something to do"

"thats a lame excuse to inslave someone.. we could tell muggles but some person way back when decided it was a bad idea what about all the wiches and wizards that married muggles they told them eventully and ythey diddnt bug out" she insisted.

"but not all muggles can take magic so easily some would want us to use magic to fix there problems"said trixie

Alice huffed "well not all house elfs injoy being worked to death actully i am quite confortable in saying that most dont" she said biteing her tounge to restraine herself.

"some don't but most do"said trixie

''Guys!'' Bella exclaimed, ''Gee! Since its Alice's birthday she can chose how she wants everything prepared, and if that means no house elves then no house elves, yes?''

"yes" alice said happy that someone agreed with her.

"fine with me, Ill just go to hogsmead and ask the candy lady if she could make a cake"said trixie skipping out of the hall

Bella laughed. ''Maybe we should wait till its closer to the day Trixy'', Bella told her.

"right"said trixie walking back in and sitting down

"ok then " she said not sure what else to say.

Tommy lovegood walked into the great hall and sat down next to Trixie and gave her a kiss on the cheek "what are you guys doing"he said then held out his hand "I'm Tommy by the way"

Alice shook his hand.
"you look familure oh i'm alice by the way" she said looking at him trying to recall were she had seen him.

"people say I look like a younger version of my dad do you perhaps read the quibler"said tommy

"oh my gosh no wonder your tommy love good i'm Alice lovegood remeber?" she asked confused on how she could have been so dense.

"refresh my memory"said tommy

"i was there adoptive daughter for the longest time well untill the acsedent anyway" she said shruging.
"i cant believe i couldnt remember you thats so strange" she said over excited.

"don't worry I didn't remember you"he said

"oh well i guess never mind then" she said kinda bumbed that he didnt remeber her.

Bella smiled at the new boy, tommy, who joined them

''Hi Tommy!'', Bella smiled at him, ''Im Bella''. She winked, then laughed.

"flirty much" alice whispered to her.

Bella giggled. ''Shhhhhhh!'' She told Alice with a smile. Soon enough she'd figure out that Bella was like this with everyone. ''So what you guys been up too?'' Bella asked enthusiastically.

"wishing they were hanging out with me" she sudgested smileing.

Bella looked at Alice, a bit confused. ''Huh?'' She said, tilting her head slightly to the side.

"never mind. long story tell ya latar" she said rolling her eyes slightly.
"anyways.." she added hopeing someone would ask a question or something.

Bella laughed. ''Okay'', she said to Alice, still not really 100% sure what was going on. ''So do y'all know any cute guys?'' Bella said.

"lots depnding on your defintion of cute guys" alice replied not even sure if the question was for her.

Bella grinned, ''My definition would be a guys of slightly above averadge or better looks who i can go hit on!'' Bella laughed.

"my brother, i don't mind"said trixie giving a giggle

''Hmmmm... well i think Max want him so thats mean cause he's my friend. And I think Max saw him first'', Bella told Trixy.

"what?" alice asked out of confusion she had no clue what she was talking about.

''Trixys brother jonny. He's cute, but max kinda has a thing for him so... he's of limits'', Bella explained.

"oh ok then" alice said getting it but wiched she never asked.

Bella laughed softly.

"oh word of the wise if your looking for cute guys this year gryfendor table wins for hot guy head count" she said moveing the conversation.

''Ohhhhh!'' Bella said, craining her neck. She spotted a couple of hotties who she would definately be speaking to later.

"ya but then it really depends what your looking for of course slytherin has all the bad boys and ravenclaw the smart ones i'm not sure were huffle puff fits into all of this but ya" she said looking around.

''Hmmm...'' Bella mused, flicking her blonde hair, ''Well I do have a thing for bad boy...'' Bella laughed. ''But I'll take what I can get''.

Alice laughed.
"you could get any guy here" she said shoked that like jona she didnt seem to flaunt her looks.

Bella laughed. ''Alice, I could get any guys here looking for one thing'', SHe told her. It was true and there was no point denying it. ''But thats all guys want from a girl like me. All they see me as good for. No one wants anything more, I promise''.
