Chapter 8: Waiting For The Damn Fight To Start Already

Okay, this took me by surprise. And I thought I would hate it, but it's actually good... funny in most parts, but I like it. Surprisingly, as let's face it, I have never been a fan of Jacob Black. He's still no Edward but I find myself liking his POV. What did you think?

I am thinking that I love Jacob even more, this chapter completely won me back to his side. I always knew that I loved him XD.

However after the wedding incident, I had to admit that I lost faith a bit in him and was upset with him, but of course dear old Jacob shone through once more :D

I LOVED seeing part of the book from Jacob's PoV. It helped me to understand the character better, and I love him even more now...

The chapter titles made me giggle and seeing things from someone other than Bella's PoV was refreshing (though I admit to being a little frustrated that we were so suddenly cut off from Bella and Edward's tale just as it was getting interesting!)

I loved Jake since the beginning of Eclipse so I got so excited when I found out this was in his pov.
Going backwards though, I loved his little preface.

"Life sucks, and then you die. Yeah, I should be so lucky." Made me giggle, then stop and feel bad, cus it's sort of sad.

On the chapter..I loved seeing Quil with Claire--it really gave you more of a sense of how the imprinting works on younger children, though you see enough of that later in the book..Did it shock anyone else though when Jake decided to turn against his pack orders and attack the Cullens? I never thought he would actually attack them--he always cared too much about Bella to hurt her that way.

I was not looking forward to reading Jacobs book. Ever since I met him I have hated him and then after the wedding I hated him even more, though yes (although I hate to admit it) my feelings have changed about him through this book (although there are still loads of things I dislike about him!)

Ill admit I skimmed the first part of this chapter as I needed to get back to what was happening with Bella and Edward. As soon as I saw Bellas name again I started reading properly lol

I did like how his thought processes went in this and i did start to feel sorry for him, though not as much as to like him at first.

And then he goes for the attack - yes, my thoughts were back to hating him again during this chapter lol

Yeah, I actually thought about skipping over this part, but then I got too distracted by this chapter, once I glanced it over, and read it completely xD The I couldn't stop... :D Anyway, this was probably where I started to feel for Jacob, and I think I visited Team Switzerland :D

I JUST WANT HIM TO IMPRINT ALREADY xD

Anyway, just a general comment; I loved the titles on the chapters in Book two :D Also, the "quotes" or whatever from Jacob were hilarious; all the bada bing bada boom, and so on :D

I loved that she did a book from Jacobs POV. I have loved him from the beginning, even if he sometimes ticked me off. I love-love-loved the Quil and Claire bit. I about died. Although, she's a bit of a brat. I know I wouldn't have gotten away with whacking someone on the head at 3. Well, at least, no one would have said "aww how cute". Instead it would have been, "no. Don't hit. That's not nice." The chapter titles seemed to be classic Jacob.
