Chapter 18: There Are No Words for This.


This chapter was by far one of the most amazing chapters within the entire book. With Nessie finally arriving, but the thing that I like the most about it is when Jacob imprints on Nessie as he was about to kill her. That was the most 'OMG' worthy moment for me :D

I know! I realized what was happening right before he started talking about gravity. I was like, "No way!" At first, I was totally against it, I mean, JAcob imprinting on BELLA'S daughter?! Freaky! But then I accepted it when I realized that Bella and Jake's friendship was back and neither felt any 'extra' feelings toward eachother (Not including Bella's anger). Overall, I think it was a nice twist.

Honestly that was so shocking that I actually set down the book and had to call Jess to yell about it. But really, I've accepted it soon enough and realize that they are most definitely going to make a great couple when they get older. Which is why I started a ship thread for them :D To talk about how couplely they might be.

But with more of the chapter I was right up there with him for wanting to kill Renesmee at first, like I hated her while Bella was pregnant with her ad I thought Jacob would be doing everyone a favor, but as time went on in the book I began to fall in love with her. In fact, Nessie is my second favorite character :D

Despite the gross factor, I really do like Jacob and Nessie... although I hope they pick up their storyline after she reaches maturity. Especially since it looks like there's a new triangle brewing...XD Once you accept Nessie, you love her. It's impossible not to love Nessie. Team Nessie!!

Indeed I agree! I think it'd be great if she wrote about Nessie. I know she'd get a huge following out of it, because people would love it just as much as they loved the Twilight series! :D

Great chapter though some rather disturbing images about the birth...

I wasn't sure what to think of Jake imprinting on Nessie, but after a couple of chapters I was fine with it.

Although...seriously, what was Bella thinking with that name. RENESMEE? It's just...odd. Nessie is much better and more fitting.

Oh I know, the name is completely horrible. I agree with that completely XD

Nessie is way cuter, even if it does have Loch Ness Monster memories tied unto it XD

Though Edward Jacob for a guy was kinda cute I'll admit XD

The name is shockingly horrible. No excuse, what's so ever for the baby. I can't remember her middle name at the moment, but I remember hating it only slightly less. I just don't think Nessie is good enough of a name... I want somehing better! But I agree that Nessie is light years better than Renesmee... Bella, please! You did not grow up in some white trash trailer park with a bottle full of beer, how could you tarnish you're little baby with such a crappy, crappy name???

Well, I just need to say this about the last bit in the chapter; OH MY GOD!!!!!

Even a stupid daftball would realize that he imprinted on her!!! xD

Anyway.

Oh my God.

The NAME!!!!!! It's DH all over again!!!!! :D Renesmee Carlie... puh-LEASE! xD

But I got used to the name after a few chapters, even if I like Nessie more xD

I was happy about the imprint, although it was one of the few things I didn't expect. In fact it's the last thing I expected, even though it should have been an obvious thing to happen. They had to be leading up to something.

And...am I the only person in the universe who likes the name? It took a while of saying it, but once I put it with Carlie, I really like it now. It's sweet. Laugh at me all you like; I am a bit crazy anyway. Ha ha

Oh no, I loved the name- it is a mix between Renee and Esme which Bella chose with great meaning- I hate to think it is a horrable name and that others hate it. I would be happy with another name I must admit but seriously what is wrong with Renesmee?

I also believe it is pronounced "Rai- ness (like nessie)- may (and not me like the spelling shows)" It makes perfect sense that I dont even need to spell it out because bella named her Renesmee with Esme included. If that is the case it sounds very preety to me. :3

The imprint seemed to hit bella hard never having any clue that Jake would have do such a thing. She never wanted it to happen but it wasn't on her mind. Bella's fuelled anger left her to attack Jake when he called her daughter Nessie. (Great nickname) I would say I am happy with his imprint but unhappy at the same time? Dont know why...
