| So, you've now read the book. What are your feelings on it?
For me...
I just finished the book, about ten minutes ago.
At the moment, I have mixed feelings.
There were some parts that I LOVED, no parts that I truly despised, and I love Jacob even more now :D
I think I'll have to re-read it for all the events to fully sink in, but first of all it's got to be read by Becky, Elly and my Mum.

| lol I finished reading it last night and am in the process of rereading it now. There were some parts that sounded very unlike the other Twilight books. If I didn't know any better, I would have suspected that it was a really good fanfiction online. lol and same with Amy there are parts that I liked and didn't. Strangely enough, I actually like Jacob much more now. I mean, I'm sorry but I was one of those people that really really really disliked Jacob before but after reading this book, the middle part that's in his point of view is my favorite part throughout the entire book. I think Stephanie Meyer did it on purpose to make people like me turn into a Jacob fan... | |

| Well of course I still love Jacob :D Even more so then I did before, if that's possible.
Plus my feelings toward Edward have also improved quite a bit.
Really it was a good book, one of the best in the series. Though I agree some parts seemed off, but it was really just the first chapter for me XD

| How much does everyone love Seth? :D I've always loved Jake as a character, but even more so now. - Spoiler:
I HATED that Alice and Jasper left, but the reasons were understandable and I'm so glad that it was a ruse and not cowardice.

Jane lived. I was really hoping to see her in the middle of a Cullen smack down, but alas it did not happen. XD

| I did feel like it was a fanfic in some parts... oh, and the ending bugged me. Why does it always end happy? haha. But I loved it overall. | |

| I was actually found the ending refreshing... after the trauma that was HP and the DH- or even the ending of the A Great and Terrible Beauty books, it's nice to have an ending where you're crying tears of joy, instead of crying and rocking yourself in a strange ready-for-the-rubber-room kind of way because the author has killed all your favorite characters... I think too many authors feel the need to kill characters off to create drama and dynamic, Meyer is good at creating inner turmoil like in Eclipse. | |

| Well, I've read it once and am rereading right now, but to say the least, I really didn't like it. Hardly anything happened throughout the book. The whole middle of the book is spent with Bella on a couch and Jake running in circles around a house. Interesting? Uh, not really. And I was soo looking forward to a huuuge fight at the ending between the cullens and Voltouri. She spent chapters with all the vampires just talking battle strategies and getting ready to fight and then...It never happened. And then it ended just a few pages later, which was a major disappointment.
Seth kind of annoyed me. Sure he was nice and sweet and always happy and all that, but I feel like he can't really grasp what's happening around him and doesn't really have much of a reason for following Jake in the first place. I mean, so he fought Victoria with Edward, but would they really be that good of friends just from that that Seth would betray his own pack?

| I just came across this chapter-by-chapter commentary on BD: http://cleolinda.livejournal.com/630150.htmlIf you've read Cleolinda's Movie in 15 Minutes you'll know she's high on the snark but high on the humour... this is tres amusant, and seriously, the comment that follows made me laugh: - Spoiler:

| Edwob Now that is simply hilarious! I loved this book. It had a different feel to the others, thats for sure - rather like DH was different to the rest of the HP series, though it was still fantastic. There were certain things that I think should have been different, for example; - Spoiler:
I would have liked to see a fight at the end of it rather than how it all ended
Though it was still amazing. Its so sad its over though now what series do I go onto? lol

| I suppose I was readying myself up for a more... explosive ending, too, but I can't say I'm disappointed. I really, truly enjoyed it. I never start reading a book like Breaking Dawn with high expectations and speculations, it ruins it for me (DH, too, I was disappointed but not unbearably so because I didn't over think it beforehand) and so I found that I really enjoyed the relationship dynamic that was going on between the characters. The whole Jacob perspective I found really insightful and I couldn't have written a better chain of events myself. | |

| This book was so differnt than all the other ones I didn't know what to think of it. I really liked the whole scene with the Volturi and meeting all the other vampires that came to help them. It seemed really weird reading some of it though.. idk it felt out of place with the rest of the series to me. But now it's growing on me so i still have mixed feelings. | |

| Out of habit I was disappointed with the end, purely because I'm so used to lots of trauma and whatnot. Then I remembered that realistically speaking the saga is primarily romance/fairy tale type thing. It's supposed to be like that.
I can't imagine that there won't be a continuation. There are too many openings for at least one more book.

| Maybe because they didn't expect a happy ending :D I mean, I didn't... but I suppose Stephenie wouldn't have wanted to kill any major character. I felt a little disappointed, just like with Deathly Hallows, too; I wanted Harry to die, just as much as I wanted Bella to die.
But then again, she DID die - sort of :D
Anyway.
I guess I'm used to the fact now, after reading the book... five times, atleast xD
