An Epic Battle

Holly stood on the deserted fourth floor, her wand raised. If she was correct, they would be arriving soon. And so would Hayley- hopefully. She heard movement beside her, but stood rooted to the ground. "Hayley..." she muttered to herself.

Holly shook her head smiling and followed.

Matthew looked horrified,
"Hayley? Why didn't you say?" he asked apparating back to the bloody mess of deatheaters,

"I know." Shadow said, before walking over to a large tree. She morphed into a wolf to get through a gap in the roots, which lead into a small room like place. In one corner, there were a few blankets, shelves had been carved into another wall, and there was a black circle where a fire had been. Shadow summoned an orb of white magic to light it up.
"Watch the low ceiling." She said.

"Nice kiddo," Holly complimented.

Natalie stayed with Holly.
"Please...stay here," said Natalie, "and don't do anything rash."

"I'll watch her." Shadow said.

"Ok..." said Natalie, "I'm going to check how things are going, then I'll be back."

Natalie disappeared, then, five minutes later, was back.

"They're dealing with things well....almost three quarters of the death eaters are down now," informed Natalie.

"I aint stupid," Holly said softly smiling at Shadow.

Shadow nodded, rubbing her eyes.

Matthew fought a couple of deatheaters off, he still hadn't seen Hayley.

"Tired?" Holly asked.

"My magic relys on your energy." Shadow explained.

NAtalie looked worriedly at Shadow, but didn't press the matter.

Matthew bit into one particularly nasty deatheaters neck. he didn't taste nice.

Shadow noted Natalie's glance.
"Nothing to worry about." She said.

Natalie smelled sour blood from far away and grimaced.

Holly swallowed.
"Im worried about Matt." she said.

"He'll be ok. He can't die." Shadow said.

"He just bite someone...." said Natalie, "it shows he cannot control himself when he's angry."

"What if he bites Hayley." Holly found herself saying.

"Let's not go there." Shadow said.

"He won't...I'll make sure of it...I can smell pour human blood anywhere and whether it is intact or not," said Natalie.

Holly nodded sitting on the ground.

Shadow snorted slightly, staring into the orb of magic.

Natalie gasped.
"I can see the battle in that orb...I mean...what's happening over there," said Natalie. frowning.

"I know, you're watching it through Raven." Shadow said.

"Things bad?" Holly asked suddenly.

"No...they're not at all bad...it looks like it's all going to plan....even though we had not plan," said Natalie, smiling slightly.

"YOU might not have had a plan..." Shadow said.

"I had a plan," Holly said, "But you wouldnt let me do that one...."

"Hol, that wasn't a plan." Shadow said.

"I thought there was no plan...that we just thought...do you have a plan?" NAtalie asked.

"There's Rae's back up plan. 'If it moves, kill it'." Shadow said.

"Ah..." said Natalie, disapproving slightly.

Shadow shrugged.
"What can you say? It works."

"True..." said Natalie, smiling slightly.

"True that," Holly agreed.

Shadow sighed, leaning against a wall.

Natalie did the same, looking into the orb absently.

Holly lay on the floor staring at the low ceiling.
"What if he's trapped!" she said suddenly.

"He's not...I can see him....he's doing very well," said Natalie.

"You're SURE?" Holly said.

"Yes," said Natalie.

"You better be," Holly muttered.

"I am," said Natalie surely.

Shadow started to doze.

Natalie didn't sleep, so she wasn't tired.

Holly lay back against the wall, and closed her eyes.
"Let me know when Matt gets here."

Matthew stood surronded by deatheaters

"Oh...I have to go to him," said Natalie, and she apparated the Matt.

Natalie began to battle the death eaters...three at a time.

"HELP ME MATT!" she yelled.
