An Epic Battle

Holly stood on the deserted fourth floor, her wand raised. If she was correct, they would be arriving soon. And so would Hayley- hopefully. She heard movement beside her, but stood rooted to the ground. "Hayley..." she muttered to herself.

Natalie ran to Holly and dragged her to a nearby broom shed.

"Why is it you that Voldy wants?" Natalie asked her in a loud whispered, so that Holly could hear her over the spells.

Matthew didn't know what to do, Shadow wqs casting spells at Voldie and Voldie at him he was stuck in the middle of it all...

Shadow sensed Matthew's thoughts and cast a shield around him.

Matthew raised an eyebrow at Shadow,
"Thanks!" he he yelled taking a deep breath

Hayley heard Natalie whisper in the broom shed, and shouted over her shoulder, "To finish the job! He killed her parents, why stop now?" She aimed a few strong stunning spells at Voldemort, who flinched.

Natalie waited for an answer, tapping her foot impatiently.

"Welcome." Shadow said back to Matthew before continuing to fire.

Holly looked around.
"What Hayles said," she said, "Look Voldy would you please just leave my friends alone? It's me ya want right?"

"Hol, you're not going ANYWHERE without me." Shadow said, stopping her barrage.

Matthew walked out of range of all the flying magic then the magic stopped from around him, he thought maybe her magic had a range on it too...
Matthew got stuck into one of the death eaters that charged towards him.

Hayley glared at Holly, "No way. You go, I go," she said firmly, "Don't you dare turn yourself in Bristol,"

Matthew turned around blood running dpown his face.
"No Holly!" he yelled

Natalie brought Holly back to Jamie, the continued to fight.

"HAYLEY'S RIGHT!" Natalie yelled, "SAME WITH ME....I'D DIE FOR YOU HOLS...YOU KNOW THAT RIGHT?"

Matthew ran over to Holly,
"Ill bite your ass off if you surrender!"

Shadow had her hands glowing with magic, and her eyes were flickering between violet and red.
"Turn yourself in I swear I'll send you into my mind and I won't let you out."

Matthew looked at Holoy
"And thats scary, its not nice in her mind, believe me i can hear it!"

"Now that...is scary," said Natalie to Holly, "and if you die....by the way...I'll kill myself dude."

"me three!" Matthew yelled

"No...but I seriously will," said Natalie, pushing a violent death eater off her with one hand.

"no but seriously I will!" Matthew argued taking a chunk out of someones arm...

Shaeman morphed into his pegasus form and reared up, bringing his hooves down on a Death Eater's skull with a sickening crunch while a black wolf ripped another's throat out.

Matthew winced at the sound of the crunch, not nice...

Natalie looked at Holly.

"It's not safe here...." said NAtalie to her, frightened that anyone would try impulsively and hurt Holly.

Holly considered, and wanted to kiss Matthew quite a lot.

Natalie gave Holly a look, and hexed the death eater nearest to her.

Hayley shook her head at Holly, "You know...and I think I speak for everyone when I say this...we would all die for you right? So we're not about to let Voldy take you now. After all the fighting we've already done? No chance, Bris," she said firmly.

"You guys are all so awesome," Holly muttered, eyes still on Matthew.

Natalie looked at Holly.
"You're not safe here," she repeated, unsure that Holly had heard her.

Holly ignored Natalie and sent a few well aimed stunners at the Death Eaters, still thinking about Matthew.

Natalie cast Crucio on a death eater than was advancing on Holly from behind, and he fell to the ground, screaming, just an inch from Holly.

"Danke," Holly said standing on him.

Natalie began to duel with two death eaters at once.

"In fact..." Shadow said before she barked a few orders in demonic to her siblings. She grabbed Holly's arm and teleported them out into the forest.

Natalie kept duelling until the two were on the ground, then apparated after Holly and Shadow.

"Now this is what I call safe," said Natalie.

Shadow nodded.
"I'm not gonna let you get hurt. Rae'll take care of Voldie. In fact, he won't know what hit him."

"Where are we?" Holly asked, insted of saying thank you.

" In the middle of the Forbidden Forest." Shadow said. "There's a place around here I started to stay during the holidays."

Holly nodded.
"Next summer you can come to my place," she promised, not knowing that there would be no choice next summer.

Shadow shrugged.
"I've stayed here for the past two years, since..." Shadow shut up.

"I live near Holly, so we'll see each other every day," said Natalie.

"It takes three hours for you to walk Nat," Holly said grinning.

"That's why I don't walk....I take the knight bus," said Natalie.

Matthew apparated beside Natalie,
"Right don't just go off on one without me!" he yellled

Shadow smiled slightly and lead the way further into the trees, following claw marks on the trees.

Matthew shrugged and followed, he'd expected them to defend themselves in some way.

"By the way Matthew, I brought Holly here to keep her safe." Shadow warned.

"Meh! If I was going to bite her I would have done so by now!" he told Shadow

"I've been dealing with Vampires for longer than you know." Shadow said, not turning round.

"Doesn't mean you know me." Matthew pointed out, "There are many different kinds. And vampires have personalities too you know."

"Um.....we left Hayley on her own....Matthew....will you go back...I'll come in a moment," said Natalie.
