Pieces Of The Past

Sam walked up behind Aura, she'd been friends with her for some time. they were both orphans unsure of their pasts. They vowed to eachother that one day they would find out about themselves.
"S'ok Aura you know when we get out of here that we'll be able to find out some way or another." Sam reassured her she didn't like Aura being like this, It was unsettling at the best of times.

Sam looked at her friend, she hadn't seen her like this before something must have really nipped the bud hard. "Listen to me, one day we will find who we're looking for whether they want us to or not. You know that we're specail because of the magic" She whispered "We can do everything we want without fail." Sam flet tears well up in her own eyes, "And you'd do the same for me, wouldn't you?" he soothed hugging her friend back.

Sam looked away from Aura and turned to the door, "Sorry to break this up but we have company.." she pointed at the door, she knew that some of the other girls were hiding behind it listening to their conversation. Sam and Aura were the outcasts of the Orphanage, they didn't want to fit in with the others, so they were mainly the ones that got all the grief. But they were 16 now, no bitchiness was going to bother them.

"Just a few more days now Aura, you know that we have to wait until we can calm we're going back to hogwarts. It's a good thing the Orphanage think we're going to some stupid non-magical school, cus then we can run away and they wont know how to contact the school when we don't come back in June.." Sam said stating th obvious. To be truthful she was sad she wasn't going back to Hogwarts, but she would be 17 soon, so then she could legally use magic, she was looking forward to that.

"Well, we can't have you packed yet?" She asked Aura

Sam nodded "We can tell them that we can go early on the train, i think that might work." Sam went into her room, "Come on Aura no need to stand about.." she yelled went she got in... "Right just open the drawers and through everything into..." she searched about for her suitcase "this.." she finished throwing it on her bed

Sam rolled her eyes and grabbed the suitcase full of clothes,
"Right I'm comming now.. wait up.." Sam was only half way down the stairs when Miss. Campinage gathered at the bottom "Oh crap" Sam whispered "you better try and lie your way out of this one.." she told Aura her forhead creased with worry.

Sam looked at Miss Campinage and bit her lip..
"Okay," he hissed back dragging her suitcase down the stairs, "We're going to school early, they started a program, goodbye." She told Miss Campinage walking out through the door, Sam was glad that Miss Campinage couldn't really stop them.
"Goodbye.." she said again

San shook her head, Its just that I grew up here and that was the last time i was ever going to see here, can't help but have a little compassion can you?" she said piping up, they were on their way down the street, Sam couldn't look back. She felt the eyes of all the girls in the upstairs room burn her back, they were surely glaring at her.

Aura shook her head. "Sorry no i can't show compassion towards that place: i hated it." she told her, ignoring the glances at she walked.

Sam nodded and put her arm around her friend, "You know it's going to be all right now, I can do my magic and all and well you'll just have to wait until you turn 17." she told her firmly "But that's not that far off is it?" she asked

Aura shook her head. "No, not that long." she started. "In about two days i'll be 17." Aura told Sam, smiling walking.

Sam looked sideways at her,
"Really? that soon? And here was me thinking Id have to do everything for a while..."
She sighed and then walked on down the street,
"i think we should apparate somewhere soon, but to where?" she asked Aura
She looked ahead, the street was cold and damp, how long would they live like this?

Aura nodded, turning her ice blue eyes into the direction of alley.
"There is someone down there." She whispered, reaching for her wand.
Aura took a deep breath and stood forwards.
"You coming?" She asked her.
Without waiting for the answer, Aura walked down the alley.

Sam looked at the girl whi'd been her friend for years now.
Ofcorse she was going.
"Pst! Aura put your wand away, we're only after having the 'your not 17 yest conversation."
Sam rolled her eyes and pulled out her wand now,
She ran up behind Aura
"Put it away!" she hissed in her ear.

Aura raised an eyebrow at her dear friend.
"Please be quiet, unless you want to die." She told her.
"There is someone down here, It may very well be a death eater." She whispered.
She looked in front of her, her eyes forcused on a vague figure.
"Who is that?" She asked herself.

Sam watched wide eyed at the person walking towards them now.
She wanted to call out for help, sure as hell they were buggered now, no way a 17 year old and 16 year old could beat a deatheater, those people were well trained.
Sam looked from Auras wand to the man infront of them, he was nearing them now.
Closer, Closer, Closer.
What could they do?
"Who-" she stammered "Who's there?"

James turned on the spot, his eyes burning with anger.
"WHO GOES THERE!" He yelled, raising his wand.
Aura froze, glancing back at Sam.
"Its Violet's Brother." She told her.
She gulpled and looked at him.

Sam looked at Aura to the figure.
from Auras' wand to hers.
"Do we need these then?" she asked her stupidly.
"You told me about him, but not really if he could do us any real harm."
Sam looked at Aura...
"Some help here please..." her hand was shaking horribly, she needed some sort of comfort factor.

Aura looked at her.
"We hates Mudbloods." She told her.
"James?" She asked, looking at him.
James looked over at Aura.
"Phoenix's sister?" He asked her.

Sam looked nervously at Aura.
"yes..?" She stammered, she was confused inside.

James smirked at her.
Aura looked back at her.

Shadow looked round the corner into the alley, having sensed something strange going on up there. Keeping to the dark shadowed side, she made her way down towards the three.

Aura senses kicked, turning her head slightly.
"Shadow?" She asked her, Aura didn't know Shadow that well but she knew her sister knew her.
James glanced over at the new comer.

Shadow allowed half her face to show in the gloomy light, making her seem creepier than she alrady was.

Aura cocked an eyebrow at her questioning her motives.
"Are you alright?" She asked her.

Shadow nodded curtly and put her head on one side, throwing the question back at her.

Aura nodded and approaching her, slowly.
"Long time no see, eh?" She asked, smiling weakly.

Shadow just nodded silently.

Sam stood, now behind Aura and galred over at the girl. She nudged Aura, a signal to get going.

Shadow returned the glare, squaring up for a fight.

Sam squeeked and hid behind Aura, not very well as she was taller and had to kneel a little so she could be completely hidden,

Shadow relaxed slightly, still half hidden in the dark.

Sam poked Aura agan and squeeked, she wasn't paying attention obviously.
