Olympics Event

As the olympics has been running recently, it only seemed right to bring the olympics here with its very own HE outlook.

There are ...... events in the HE olympics. Members may do as many events as they wish, though there are only a certain amount of spaces per event. Heads of house will have a thread opened in your house event forum to decide who does what event, so if you wish to participate, please go sign up in your houses.

Heads of houses have until ......... to send me the list of participants from each house and from then on the events in this olympics will be opened in the second event forum.

What to do in each event:
(ones in this list are ones to use)

Running Events: These events give points for order of those who submit theirs first plus votes are put up to add to their scores

Sprints (fast ones)
100m : 1xDrabble (in post), 1xGraphics for Drabble (in post)
200m : 1xOne Shot (HQ), 1x Banner for one shot (HQ)
400m : 2xOne Shots (HQ), 2xBanners for both (HQ)

Middle distance events
800m : 3xChapters for beginning of a story (HQ)
1000m : 3xChapters for Beginning of a story (HQ), Banner for story (HQ)
1600m : 5xChapter story completed (HQ)

long distance (longer ones)
3000m : 8xChapter story either completed or part complete (HQ)
5000m : 8xChapter story complete (HQ), Banner for story (HQ), Poster advitising story (in post)
10,000m : 10 chapter story complete (HQ), Banner for story (HQ)

Hurdles
100m : 1xDrabble (post), Banner (post), 1xDrabble (post), Artwork (post), 1xDrabble (post)

Relays - 4 people from each house needed. If less than four people from a house then house do not participate
Each member of each house need to complete the following in order, for example: person 1 posts graphics, then 2, then 3, then 4 and then move onto next in same order!

Field Events

Field events work only on a voting mark scheme except for those with games to play. These work as stated.

Triple jump : 5xAvatar set on one canvas, Banner for participant in olympics, and Wallpaper

Long Jump : Mini HEMovie director - submit short 10 min or less clip of movie

High jump : Play the following game. Print screen open in a paint programme and add your name on the screen and something to prevent copying. Upload print screen.

Shot Put : Play the following game. This game you can play until you are happy. When you are happy with your best score (shown on right hand side) print screen. I need the whole top row only so you will need to crop it (I need to see top, best, current and total movement to deter cheating)

Javelin: You have a certain length of time to do as many badges as you can. ONLY badges done after this event is opened will be counted (this event will also help you with points in badge burrow!). By the date provided, you MUST put the links to all badges done in this time. In case of a tie, challenges will be issued.

Pole Vault : Height is the key! Therefore this event works on posts. Use this thread to RPG with others in the event about you all being at the HE olympics. ONLY posts of at least 10 lines will be counted and no going off subject!

Tennis : You will be put against another member (2 against two if a lot of members taking part). You must take it in turns to out do one another with the following:
1st round: Graphics banners
2nd round: Fanfiction banner
3rd round: Wallpaper
etc
Means of elimination and voting

Table Tennis : You will be put gainst another up to three members. You will be given a time length. You must make as many icons as possible (putting them in one post by editing, more if post gets full) Each round has a different theme. Elimination through icon count

Gymnastics : You will need to compete in all of the following and points will be awarded to you from the judge/s for each.
1. Vault - You must jump over a wooden horse. Easy as that! Simply RPG this short jump ass artistically as you can.
2. Uneven Bars - RPG a short piece of you showing off your talents on two bars which are at two different levels above your head. Just dont fall!
3. Balance beam - Submit 4 photos showing balance in anyway you believe

5. Trampoline - Create a banner based upon the theme of jumping

There is also team gymnastics which all of the participating members of each house will go together to put on a RPG gymnastic performance.

Equestrian : Play the following game. You may practise though start at level one for actual event. You only need to do level one for the first round. for further rounds need to get into 2nd and third etc. Print screen after each level to show your time and edit your name on it in paint programme and upload here

Elimination

Baseball : play the following game and upload your score. Scores will be put together with the rest of your team (your house mates). Go into arcade option - you can choose whichever difficulty level you wish - the higher difficulty multipies your score more. Each round, the team with the lowest score will lose the lowest scoring players

Fencing : Group duel. RPG this duel with your team mates (house mates) against other teams. Scores at end of each round and lowest house loses lowest scoring members until only one house left or winners declared

Shooting : Debate time! Everyone against everyone in this debate with new subjects each round and lowest being eliminated each time
