Stephy vs. ElladoraZeller

You will be allowed a maximum of six posts each, and you may use known spells from HP, or spells of your own creation.

You will not be marked purely on how long your posts are, yet you will be marked on the following;

* Eye for surroundings
* Defensive and offensive spells (both what spells are used and how well they are used)
* Knowledge of spells
* Eye for detail (both your own posts and others posts)
* Inventiveness and creativeness as a whole

Elladora walked steadily down the hall and peeked up at the notice board. Dueling Tournaments were starting and she made sure to get up extra early. Reading the paper in front of her, her face fell. She was going up against Stephy. Elladora had duelled Stephy before, but Stephy had won last term and Elladora was weary of what would happen. Nevertheless, she went down to the room where the duel was to be held.

Elladora entered cautiously and took in the room. It was dimly lit with stone walls, no blinding lights, but very nondescript. She went through all the spells she remembered and thought of ways to make it more interesting to duel in. She withdrew her wand and exhaled slowly. "Diffindo!" she yelled, splicing the ground under her feet. A crater formed and she repeated the spell several times over to create a huge crevice against a corner of the room.

Satisfied with her crater, Elladora pointed her wand at it and said, "Aquamenti!" A spout of water emerged from the tip of her wand and filled the hole, creating a small lake in the room, contrasting greatly with the stone floors. Elladora walked across the room and was relatively okay with her puddle. But the room was still boring.

"Arbor Numus Adveho!" Elladora called. An array of trees appeared cracking up through the stones, creating a rugged terrain at each base. Elladora manueved her way back to the door and climbed up a nearby tree, easily being able to see the door. She looked at the door and briefly remembered the traps often set there.

"Occultus Flamma," Elladora whispered. The door began to glow a faint red with heat, and she watched it gradually fade. The door would now burn anyone who touched it. Elladora grinned and waited for her opponent to come.
