Strengths: My strengths come from my ability to see what others may miss. I have a keen eye and use it to my benefit - I notice even the miniscule details that might escape the notice of others. My preparation during duels is paramount. I do not believe in entering a battle unprepared. Whether it means arriving at the battleground in plenty of time to lay traps for my opponent, or something as simple as ensuring I have a wand holster - preparation is key.

Weaknesses: I tend to let my heart rule over my head. This is a problem for me, particularly in group duels. For example, if I were battling against someone from my own House, or someone I considered a friend, I would find it difficult to distance myself from them if they became injured. A further weakness is rash thinking - I act first and think of the consequences afterwards.

Why could you win the tournament? I have a firm belief that I will win this tournament. I have a complete knowledge of common, latin-based spells, as well as knowledge of spells, hexes and curses from other cultures. My quick-thinking and my strength in preparation will carry me through to win the cup.

Why could you lose the tournament? Any losses that I make in this tournament will surely come from my inability to leave a friend in danger. If others do not get hurt, I see no reason why I will not win the tournament.

Weaknesses: I can be easily distracted by random stuff. Sometimes I think that a person is in a vulnerable position and then bang they strike back, but I’m not focused on them.

Why could you win the tournament? Well I’ve come really close a few times, but then some how I fall down from the rankings, probably due to my lack of posting. So this tournament I’ll make sure to be more active.

Why could you lose the tournament? Theres a few ways to loses, such as if the dueler I’m up against is way more experienced then me, or if I’m not being active on the posting.

Why could you win the tournament? Honestly, I dont think I will or can win. There are plenty of much better more experienced duelers in the competition. I'm here to learn to be a better dueler, have fun and earn some points for Ravenclaw.

Why could you lose the tournament? Many others are much better duelists. And I always want to help people, not hurt them. Oh, and I guess a lack of self confidence.

Warrior Name: Magdalena Sangrienta
(a magdalena is a Spanish pastry, somewhat similar to a muffin, and sangrienta means sanguinary in the same language)

Strengths: The probably most important strength is the fact that I hate to be unprepared. I'll always check lots of spells, reading thick volumes day and night before a duel, making sure to have a wide variety to chose from once the fight has begun. Due to this, I generally have many ways of attacking and can counter a lot of spells thrown at me appropriately. Closely related to this spellwork is the fact that I come from a family that's international, having me know not only the same old English spells, for I know foreign ones and also am talented in languages so I can come up with self-invented spells, too. My family also has had a long history in duelling, which means I practically learned is just as I learned to walk. And let's not forget the fact I'm a true Slytherin, a little on the stereotypical side, so I'm not usually bothered by others being hurt, which gives me an advantage over the kind-hearted in the tournament.

Weaknesses: My first and foremost weakness is thoughtlessness. No matter how prepared I might be, if I use a spell without thinking about further consequences that still can have a problematic outcome for myself. I've been told as well that I am too confident, leaving me vulnerable during the small moments when I think myself superior and invincible. I wonder if there could be some truth in those words...it's quite possible. My wandering attention poses as a further complication at times, since I often find it hard to stay focused on the battle. As a matter of fact, this trait might be connected to the over-confidence I suppose.

Why could you win the tournament? I am confident about being able to win this tournament for various reasons, beginning with the simple fact I'm a Slytherin [and part-Malfoy], so I was just born to rule and win! I am quite sly and don't stop at the thought of others being harmed [even if this duelling only allows harmless harm, so to speak], I am well-prepared. Oh, and naturally I am self-serving so I won't be hindered by any desire to help or similar obstacles. Altogether, you'll surely agree that I'd be just the perfect package to win this Cup!

Why could you lose the tournament? Of course there is nothing that's going to give a true Slytherin the impression he or she might be losing. Yet I am aware of the fact that I'm not very experienced, and maybe somewhat over-eager, plus there are naturally some bad habits and faults in everyone. However other than this, I am quite confident I could pull it off. If you ignore the fact that I haven't yet achieved any further qualifications, at least...

Strengths: I'm a quick thinker in stressful times, and my good memory helps me exercise creativity in duels and gets me out of a sticky situation. I'm able to assess my problems and use anything possible to achieve a solution. My active imagination is an asset when there aren't many useful materials at hand, so I'm able to use my surroundings for defense and offense.

Weaknesses: One of my worst weaknesses is impatience. Often, I have to check myself in the middle of acting so I don't fall into a trap. Because of my impatience, sometimes I don't think through all of the possibilities, which weakens me as a duelist and as a chess player. Another weaknes is that I'm easily distracted. Though this doesn't usually happen when I'm focused on a duel, it does and often brings horrid consequences if there's enough of a distraction.

Why could you win the tournament? I believe I can win this tournament because I already have a lot of experience from being in past tournaments. Also, I'm very creative which will work to my advantage, and I'm skilled with languages which helps me with my spells.

Why could you lose the tournament? I could lose this tournament through a distraction which could cost me a duel. Also, I might let my impatience take over me and my spell casting, harming me in a duel.

I could win this tournament because I have participated in the previous tournament and finished quite well. I will win because I can precieve many aspects of a situation in a small amount of time and use my surroudings to my advantage.

Why could you lose the tournament?
I would lose because I am too tener-hearted and be distracted by in reflex to assist my opponent. Also, my slight ADD may result in my defeat.

Strengths:
Broad knowledge of spells as well as incantations and objects (plants, stones, ingredients...) magical properties, all I use in my path to victory. A defense as powerful as an ofense. Adding to all these I'm always alert and focus on details, my resourcefulness is almost limitless, I add elements of almost every type of magic there is.

Weaknesses:
Over confidence, overestimating the opponent. The spells and incantations I use sometimes are too powerful which requires time and effort, giving a window of opportuinty to my enemy to take me down, though I try to protect myself not to give chance to those windows to be open for a lot of time.

My legend precedes me. My opponents never know what to expect, except it will be big and powerful. I am also consistent with my abilities and work my enemy skills in my favor or against them.

Why could you lose the tournament?
If I thought that I wouldn't be taking part in the first place, we must think how will we win or how we won't loose, never why will we loose, that can only assessed if it happens.

Strengths:
I am a very determined person and even if it seams like I'm losing I keep fighting til the end. I don't easily back down from challanges and I try to use my wit to defeat my opponets. I always have a back-up plan even if if is a last minute one that I came up by myself. I try to use anything in my surroundings to aid me. Also I have a broad knowledge of a lot of things including spells that I will use for what they were intended for or might even come up with a new use for that spell. When battleing in a duel I try to be more defensive than offensive but the more I ballte the more offensive I get after each battle.

Weaknesses:
In stressful situation I might become too stressed to think clearly and might make rash descions that could hinder me. Sometimes I can be too stubborn. If I know that someone would be able to beat me I will not back down and try to beat them even if in the end I fail. I can at times become unbalanced and end up falling all over the place but they make spells to counter that. I also like to act like I know everything even when I don't

Why could you win the tournament?
First off I would like to boast and say that I already one before and two times before that I made it in the top. Now that I have already said that i also am very determined and so long as I think that I can win I will do everything in my power to succeed. Whatever gets in my way I shall take them down.

Why could you lose the tournament?
I would lose only if my opponet was able to destroy me either physically or mentally beyond the point that I cannot attack back or defend myself.
