Hagrid's Hut

Well it is my opinion, therefore a fact XD
yes that the hut s beside the castle.
No movie will ever be the same as your imagination, and in my head while reading the books Hagrids hut was always beside the castle.
I noticed the change in the hut too, but i welcome it. I guess Hogwarts needed to become a little less....... innocent. Hogwarts needed a change of scene i guess and the new directer done this fantastically! I really don't think about it too much... gives me a headache XD

Yeah, it was also pretty close to the castle in my imagination but I don't see it as vital for the movies how exactly the physical configuration of Hogwarts and its grounds looks like.

I always thought (from the books) that Hagrid's hut was further from the castle - something about JKs description about going past the green houses to get there? And a path, and that he lived right at the edge of the Forbodden Forest. That's just how I imagined it.

Pretty much one can disassociate the first two movies from the later ones, there's not much in common regarding the set, I think. (personally I prefer the hut further away)

Yeah, I agree with melly....because of how close it was always described to the Forbidden Forest (and in the third book it was close to the Black Lake) I always figured it was further away from the castle and closer to the forest...
