Hershey chocolate

One of the most famous Muggle candies are chocolate. This particular tasty treat was created with cocoa beans and sugar. There are millions of different varieties of chocolate to choose from such as dark chocolate, white chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, and etc. Yet the most famous chocolate and most well liked is the milk chocolate. And one of the largest and oldest chocolate factories in the world is the Hershey Company that is located in Hershey Pennsylvania.

This company was discovered by Milton Hershey in 1894. This company started out as a small side company as Hershey already owned another candy factory called the Lancaster Caramel Company. This company was also very profitable yet he felt the chocolate company had more to offer. He soon sold the Caramel Company in 1900 and spent all his time promoting the Hershey Chocolate Company. All his hard world was worth it as not only did Hershey chocolate become famous but the town in Pennsylvania it was located in renamed its town as Hershey. He also has a Hershey Resorts Company, the Giant Center, the Hershey Park Stadium, the Hershey Bears hockey team, and most impressively the Hersheypark.

The Hersheypark started off as a simple theme park for all the Hershey employees to enjoy and relax when they were on vacation. It opened on April 24, 1907. However, later on the owner decided to open it to the public. This park became a 110 acre theme park with 60 rides and attractions, 10 roller coasters, and a educational ride that teaches the audience how to make all these delicious treats as well as giving away sample to try and take home. This ride is in the Hershey Chocolate World visitor center that also includes various candy shops, a 3-D ride, and souvenir stores. The park is also attached to the ZOOAMERICA, a famous zoo.
