Hayley breathed in the fresh Hogwarts air, and grinned as she hi the ground, She got off her broom, and stared around the grounds, looking for the people she had asked to meet up with. "Holly?" she said, quietly.

"oh man," ryan said looking at her with pleading eyes, "please nothing too dangerous."

"don't worry so much, i would never put people i care about in the direct way of harm."

"direct being the key word" Alice pionted out showing that they werent in direct danger but danger in some way.

ryan didn't look her in the eyes, "well you do like danger, and..." he trailed off.

torren looked at the ground. "fine then, i'll go alone."

"no its just i pick out things like thatits not ententally ment for you i used to play a game when i was little and whoever could pick out the most key words by the end of the day won its just a badhabit of mine thats all" she said explaining her reaction to Torrens words.

"he knows what i'm talking about, and he's being a straight up arse about it."

"it's cool, tink. he won't even say anything to me now. i'd slap him, but... well i can't. it's just too mean and he'd turn into cat form. he'd really get eaten walking into the forrest in cat form."

ryan made a small nose, but didn't say anything other than, "sorry." he didn't bother to look torren in the eyes either.

"see, he's now being brooding edition ryan. he won't talk or look you in the eyes. this can go on for hours."

"me too, i wish i could break that bloody curse sometimes." torren said kicking the ground beneath her feet. she wanted to cry, but she couldn't. "i hate this, i hate his mum!" she yelled angrily, still trying to suppress her tears.

Alice was sad for them she cared about them both and she viewed Ryan as a brother and he has this stupid curse. She want to cry also but being who she was she couldnt.

"damn it!" torren yelled at the top of her lungs. she punched the stone wall of the castle. a tear almost leaked from her eye, but she wouldn't let it. she winced in pain, but reared her arm back preparing to punch the wall again.

ryan's eyes got wide,"hey!" he yelled jumping in front of her. "i know you're upset, but is punching a wall solving anyone's problems?"

"no..." she mumbled looking down. she wanted to hold him and just cry so badly, but she couldn't.

"torren, sweetie look at me." ryan said lifting her chin so she would look him in the eyes.

"i can't." she whined a little.

"why not?" he asked her.

"because i just... can't... right.... now..." she said still trying to keep from crying.

oh... didn't that cause a lot more damage before you were turned? he wondered.

"i... can't..." she replied to alice. "i... just... can't...." torren tried to make a dash for it, but ryan was faster than she was any day.

"running away isn't going to solve anything either." ryan said calmly, holding her tightly. "just stay here and talk to me."

"i..." she stuttered holding back tears, her entire body started to tremble. she fell to her knees as ryan was holding her. she clawed the ground beneath her. ryan knelt down beside her.

"don't do this, don't you even dare think about it!" he said still holding her as tightly as he could. torren was focused on other things.

"torren you cant out run eather of us" she stated not exactly at anyone though. She bent down next to torren.
"torren take one big breth ok 1..2..3" Alice said trying to help her friend though she had no clue what was going on at all.

torren was still shaking, "look at me," ryan begged her, holding her arms tight in his hand. "don't do this, please. don't run away, i love you. i know you're upset, i know it hurts, but we will get through this together." torren shook her head.

"no." she shook even more violently and then BOOM!

"no!," ryan yelled and grabbed the little field mouse she turned into. "turn back right now! i won't let you go! you can't run from this, please just..." he said starting to cry a little. "i know how you feel, please don't run. i need you." he put her down and she twitched a little. there was another BOOM! and she turned back.

"ryan, i'm sorry... i just get so worked up, i love you so much and i want to help, but i'm no help at all." she said holding and him and trying to keep tears from flowing out of her own eyes.

Alice watched the scene and was nothing else but confused. her eyes watched as torren turned into a small mouse then turned back. so she was a mouse and he was a cat? she asked in her mind trying to figure out this complecated sinareo.
"you turned into a mouse?" she mumbled obsorbed in her own thoughts.

"yes," torren sighed. "i can turn into any animal i wish. usually it's a little field mouse though, because their so small that it's easy to escape." she said still holding ryan, "i'm nothing but a coward, when i get frusterated or upset i just turn into something and run away."

"she does it a lot with me, because she feels like she can't help me. what she doesn't know is that just her being her is of some help to me." ryan said, he quit crying, but still held onto torren. "i know you want to break the curse, but it's ok that we haven't figured it out yet. we still have a while to figure it out."

"its just a normal instinct and ryan is right you being there is helping him get through it and you still have time so dont worry about it" she said calmly and relaxing.

"you know what would be cute?" torren asked giggling a little.

ryan glared at her, "what?"

"if i turned you into a kitty, and we put catnip in your ice cream." she replied smiling at him mischeiviously and still giggling.

"that's just plain mean." he said shaking his head at her and grabbing her hand in his.

ryan rolled his eyes, "girls." he mumbled.

torren raised an eyebrow at him, "what did you say?" she asked tugging on his hand a little.

"nothing, i didn't say anything." ryan replied nervously.

"why so nervous?" torren asked him.

"please don't turn me into a cat, i love you." he whined at her.

"i love you too, and i'm not going to turn you into a cat. i was teasing you." torren whined back, mocking him.

"so how about that ice cream?" ryan asked running his free hand through his hair.

"well i have no clue were to get it i dont know were all the eating places are besides the great hall slash kitchen and last time i went there the house elves swarmed like bees shoving food in my face it was horribal" she said recalling the pie incedent.

ryan kept frowning, and torren fell over laughing. "you don't have to apologize to him, tink, it's not like you were being outrageously mean. he's just so touchy, he won't be mad for too long. so don't worry about it too much, he's just really touchy about the whole being a catboy stuff and people teasing him about that stuff. it's why he doesn't really tell to many people about it. besides, he's probably more mad at me than anyone, since i revealed his secret and i started the teasing knowing how touchy he is." she smiled at alice.

ryan frowned at her, "no, i just don't want to get eaten by the giant squid."

"it wouldn't want to eat you anyway, you're probably too sour." torren giggled, ryan gave her a funny look.

torren shook her head at him, "anyway, my great idea? it seems to have slipped my mind, i don't even remember anymore." she giggled.
