Chaser Training- match

Alice smiled as Stephy announced the teams. Her team mates were Gemma and Violet. 'Great, both Slytherins', Alice thought with a role of her eyes. She was only joking, ofcourse. She had absolutely nothing agaist Slytherin House, it was just kinda funny in a way. Alice looked over at everyone else on the pitch, unsure as to whether they should just start or wait for someone to release the balls. Alice waited for a bit, but so did everyone else. ALice decided that she may as well warm up seeing as she didnt know if they should start or not. She picked up her broom doing a couple of laps of the field, waiting to see what everyone else would do.

Alice looked up to see Stephy walk onto the pitch. Alice smiled, although Stephy was the class instructor and her friend she was also on the opposite team. Alice watched her open the crate full of quidditch balls and release the two bludgers. Alice was watching their progress intently and missed the huge red ball fkying at her head until it was only about two centimenters away. ''Arg!'' Alice cried in suprise and threw her arms in front of her face to shield herself. She had been hovering fairly close to the ground so the ball simply bounced off her arms and landed a short distance away on the grass.

Blushing furiously, Alice landed and picked it back up, her cheeks matching the color of the quaffle. She re-mounted her Nimbus 2000, with the quaffle tucked securely under her arm. She kicked off again, only to discover that Stephy was no longer playing for the other team, having found a replacement. Alice sighed, feeling it would be unfair to shoot any goals before the other team were there to defend the hoops. Alice flew back down to the ground with the broomstick and quaffle sitting neatly by her side on the grass, making herself content with waiting...
