Artist of the Fortnight 8

This will mean that you will only be able to see other peoples answers when you have yourself posted in the thread. HOWEVER, if I see that you have edited your post then your answer will not be counted, as there is no guarantee that you have not looked at someone elses answer.

We'll be starting this term with an AotW, which means I give you some clues pointing to an artist (traditional one, writer, musician, actor etc.) and you find out who I'm talking about.

Everyone who guesses right will receive 20 points. Good luck!

40 points will go to two people: violetriddle was the first to PM me with an answer, but jennifer williams was the first to give me the complete name. Apart from that, it's 5 points per part of the name that was sent in.
