of 600 plus questions, three levels of difficulty, bonus points, your
own playing card and much more.

6pm for 7pm gmt quiz start both nights. Dont worry if you are late just
let Elfie know you are playing and she will keep track of your score!

Rules of play

PLEASE USE YOUR SITE USERNAME OR SIMILAR FOR THE QUIZ TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR ME TO ASSIGN POINTS

There will be a list of 10 different categories
(see below).
These categories each have 3 levels of questions, 1. easy,
2. medium and 3. hard.

The quiz will open with a preselected question.
The first person to answer this will be able to choose the next
category and level (for example, music level 2 (medium)). I will then
select a medium question from this category and ask it. Anyone can then
answer and they will gain the points offered for the chosen level. (see
below). They then choose the next category and level and so on.

Participants
can choose any category and level they wish as many times until game
end, though as an added incentive, each person who completes a correct
answer (no matter what level) from each category will recieve a bonus
100 points per time they do this.

Categories:

1: General Knowledge
2: Sports
3: Music
4: Movies
5: Heroes and Villains
6: The arts
7: Television
8: Literature
9: History
10: Geography

Points:

Level 1 (Easy) : 20
Level 2 (Medium): 40
Level 3 (hard): 60

Bonus: 100 per time all catogories are completed by a member


There
is a huge pot of 600 questions, 60 per category. If a category level
has all of its questions used before the end then that level for that
category will be discontinued.

The answer which Elfie sees first
on her screen will be the one she takes. People see different things on
their screen, though the quizmaster must take what she sees first.
