What is your favourite book?

mine is the order of the phonix whats yours say why.

I love GoF and the diff schools adn all that, lol

The goblet of fire was my favourite book, and so far the best film by far!

My favourite was Half Blood Prince. I think JKR's writing was excellent in this book, and the humour was fab

i think the 6th is the best
then 3rd
in most of the others harry is too heroic

I couldn't chose between the 6th and the 3rd, I chose 6th in the end.

For me, it's the Order of the Phoenix without hesitation. I just loved that book.

well I had to say GOF The book was awesome and the Weasleys meet the Dursleys was priceless!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! ~Laughs hysterically~ Man that still would have been awesome to see in the movie...

Half-Blood Prince, no doubt. It was so much lighter than the two books before it, and it was hilarious.... well, 'cept for the end, of course....

Its hard to say, BUT I loved alllllllllllll the books! *huggles them* So its hard to say, but I voted for HBP!

order of the phoenix is so my favourite by far

Mine is Half-Blood Prince. I love how it got right into the action. It didn't matter that Harry was at the Dursley's...immediately, Dumbledore was there bringing in the action. And it's also great because the trio has grown up so much, so we had the romantic side of things as well. It perfectly balanced action and drama with romance and humor. I dunno, I liked it best.

I love HBP most, but GoF is a close second for me. It's my favorite because of the humor and how the trio, espically, Harry, matures so much more. (I hated him in OotP, too angsty and annoying for me to like him much in that one.)

HALF BLOOD PRINCE!!!

Sorry if I've said this but I love the HPB although OotP is pretty close second. Probably even tied. HPB did seem a bit rushed to me, and as though the whole point of the book was to have Dumbledore die and teach Harry about the horcruxes and show those delusional Harmonians what's what...

Yeah people have said how it seemed too "fanfiction-y" for them. But oh well, it's written and done. Now we just have to wait for the 7th book!

I loved OoTP I just did. Even if Sirius died *sniff* we saw him a lot more in that book, you got to see so much. I HATED Umbridge so bad that it made the book even better. Rowling made me sooo into that. I wanted Umbridge to suffer. I still do. Man I love that book Nice and long too. More detail; more fun.

Order Of The Pheonix is my favorite out of the series!!

I think its much more darker and alot more intruging than all the others. I think in this book, each character has developed in a better way. (not sure if that made sense or not) Sure Sirius died and I cried, but that's the book. It's full of emotion, revenge, love,mystery...idk, i just like it!!

I can't wait for the movie!!!!

I always liked Goblet Of Fire! I really like it when the Weasley Twins give Dudley one of their joke products! haha! Anyways, I just like the action of it all. The tasks, the mystery about Winky and the Dark Mark, then the rebirth of the dark lord.

Though, I really disliked the movie...they could have put alot more things into it, especially Winky. I was like "what happened to Winky?!" Despite the movie of it, i enjoy the book....i have re-read twice after that disaster they called GOF.

Oh..and i cant wait for Ootp to come out either!

the half blood prince is my favourite - it has brought up so much more than the other books about the story line and the characters

I love them all. the last two are probably my favourite two out of the lot though

HBP was my fav since it first came out!

I really like how Jk manages to get into the history of Riddle and his family. I thought it was interesting. And the characters are much more mature, you can just tell. There also mysteries that she doesn't reveal like who is R.A.B and what happened to Dumbledore's Hand and if Hogwarts will close or not. It keeps me wondering how the next book will start and finish!

I liked PoA! It had a lot of twist and dark things the first two books didn't! I think this where they atart to mature since they're officially "teenagers"!

Order of the Phoenix. Without a doubt. The Umbridge bits made me cringe, the battle was like...whoah...and the sheer amount of H/Hr made me squee like a little girl.

I'm *so* gonna be a literary critic when I finally grow up XD

Half Blood Prince, followed closely by OotP

OotP!!! That's my fav. The Umbridge part was a huge twist, the battle at the ministry was actionie, the death/prophecy at the end was a surprise. It was just great, i can only imagine the movie!!!

The half blood prince is my favorite. It was a lot darker and we got to see really how great of a wizard Snape was in the past. Just look at the spells he invented and look at his potions book from back in school. He was truly a genious!


I loved learning about the horcruxes and Voldemort's past. It explained a lot.

This book let us get a better look at the characters and how and what they are developing into.

I read spanish version on tape. It was very good! I like it best!!!

So my vote got to Order of the pheonix!

Hmm.. well, the Horcruxes are one big part one book 7 - relevant information... and the whole Voldemort story ... all these in HBP - sure, OotP also had some important information - e.g. the mysterious mirror, that Sirius gave Harry...

I'm really fond of HBP. I like how it goes into Voldemort's past and such. We learn more about him and how he grew to be who he is now. Although, I think I might have to wait until DH comes out. Then from there, I'll have to decided which is really my favorite. XD

well duh all the books are par excellent.
however some were important to the series and some were like a side point, filling info to the series.
book one introduce us to them, but book 2adds detail but not importantt for later, book 3 introduce us to someone who will add alot but again not throughly important, book 4 extremely important as the return of voldemort, book 5 very important at the end but book 6 will be hand in hand with book 7 the finale.

i part about voldemorts past made me hate HBP the first time i was reading it id start reading the chapter and moan they have to be the worst thing about the whole harry potter books though they hold valuable unformation there boring lol! sorry but thats my opinion

My favourite is HBP. It's a lot more serious than the other ones, even if they do get pretty serious in OotP too :D ... but it sucked because Sirius died >__< Well, I just think HBP is darker and just filled with action and stuff like that. We get to read more about Dumbledore (his memories for example) and then about Tom Riddle, AND I ASSURE YOU JIMMY, THERE WAS NO H/HR IN OOTP :D

I have to agree with my buddy Elladora. Half-Blood Prince is definately my favorite, but Order of the Pheonix and Prisoner of Azkaban are right behind it.

I'm still in love with the whole series though!!!
