Just a little bit of fun!

With so many books out there, why not bring them altogether in our own library!

Simply throw one book in at a time. Remember to state the title, author and a short summary and why you want it in the library!

Number the books in order so we can keep count and try not to repeat books already here!

I fell in love with that book the first time I read it, it has so much details in it and the characters are real and interesting.

This should be included because of its well written, thought provoking, mind twisting commentary on political issues and the twsting of history to make a brilliant social commentary that is sure to swing your mind in circles trying to ponder the concepts of the book!

Title - The spooks apprentice.
Author - Joseph Delaney
Summary - Thomas ward is the seventh son of a seventh son and has been apprenticed by the local spook. The job is hard the spook is distant and many apprentices have failed before him. Some home Thomas must learn how to exorcise ghost contain witches and bind boggarts. But when he is tricked into freeing Mother Malkin the most evil witch in the county the horror begins...

Book 10

Title: Twilight
Author: Stephenie Meyer

Book 13

Title: Marked (House of Night, book 1)
Author: P.C. Cast & Kristin Cast

I think this book should be included because it draws you in from the very first line, "Just when I though my day couldn't get any worse I saw the dead guy standing next to my locker." I walked into the book store looking for something to somewhat occupy my mind while waiting for Breaking Dawn to come out, and left with an entire new obsession LoL.

Also all of the characters are very easy to relate to, they are not all perfect as they are in so many other vampire books xD

Book 14

Title: Wee Free Men
Author: Terry Pratchet

Summary: Tiffany Aching is a nine-year old sheep farmer's girl who wants to become a witch. When two worlds collide, fairy tale monsters start to invade her world. Her little brother is kidnapped and Tiffany must cross over to the other world (fairyland), armed with a frying pan and her spell book (er...diseases of the sheep).

I want to add a bit from the actual blurb:

It's a bit juvenile, but great for Harry Potter fans. My friend found it in the younger kids' section of the library so it's a really easy and fast read, but it's enthralling!

Author: Robert Muchamore

Book 18.

Title: The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness (There's six in all, but only four released: Wolf Brother, Spirit Walker, Soul Eater, Outcast)
Author: Michelle Paver.

Summary: Wolf Brother- [So Wikipedia says] In the pre-agricultural Europe of about six thousand years ago, after the end of the last ice age, the hunter-gatherers of the Forest live in clans. Torak and his father, of Wolf Clan, live alone in the Forest as outcasts. When Torak is 12 summers (years) old, his father, Fa, is killed by a bear believed to be possessed by a demon. Before Torak's father dies, he makes Torak swear an oath to head north to find the Mountain of the World Spirit, and ask the World Spirit to help destroy the bear before it kills all life in the Forest.

Torak heads north and soon encounters an orphaned wolf cub; the rest of the cub's wolf pack has been drowned in a flood. Torak discovers that he can communicate with the cub. Wolf accepts Torak as his pack-brother, and becomes Torak's guide. Torak and Wolf are soon captured by Renn, Hord and Oslak of Raven Clan, and Torak is accused of stealing one of their roe deer. Torak is taken to the Raven camp, so that his fate can be decided by Fin-Kedinn, the Raven Clan leader (& etc.)

It's an awesome set of books, because you can believe that this is how things were in that time period - the author has done lots of research, and everything about it is amazing. The characters are endearing, the plot is always just what it ought to be, and you never want it to end.

Book 19

Title: The Book Thief
Author: Markus Zusak

Summary: (My own words) A story told by Death about a young girl sent away to live with her Foster family in world war two. Things go well until a Jew shows up on the doorstep, and asks for a place to stay. The family agree to this, and so keep him hidden down in the basement. Meanwhile, the girl learns to read and develps a love and longing for books. A good read....

It's a great, fun, adventurous series that is easy to read and perfect if you can't figure out what to pick up. I don't reccommend seeing the movie before or after reading the book because they slaughtered it worse than the fifth HP movie...
