Wondering (Vi and Odd)

Henry didnt know what to do. Somedays he felt like Phoenix was there and others, he felt like she didnt even care for him. But he couldnt complain, Alice was the highlight of his life. Just seeing her smiled made him happier then everything. But he couldnt see her anymore and he sighed, leaning back on the tree.

"Replaced your blood source with some of mine." He told her, pushing his hair back. He stood up, pulling his wand out again.

"Bloody hell..." Henry whispered, grabbing her from the floor. He threw her back on the bed, making sure to clean the puke from the floor. His fangs extended and he bit her again, trying to suck only his blood from her.

When Henry could taste the rest of his blood leave her body, he pulled back, sitting up. He looekd down at her, pushing hair from her face. "I'm sorry..I didnt know that would happen.." He whispered to her, breathing heavily.

Henry nodded before doing something he knew she would murder him for. He kissed her softly before standing up and unlocked the door. He walked to the living room again, sitting down with his head in his hands.

Henry sighed, pulling at his hair. He glared as he walked back to his room Oddie told him he couls sleep in that night. Even though he didnt sleep, it just needed time to think before he could walk back into his own house if she hadnt burned it or sold it yet.

Henry heard someone in the kitchen and stood up. He walked to the living room.

Henry walked softly into the kitchen, licking his lips neverously again. "How are you feeling?" He asked her.

Henry nodded, walking behind her. "Look...I'm sorry." He told her softly, sighing.

"I wasnt talking about that." Henry said, leaning against the bar where she was. "I think you know what I mean." He whispered.

Henry cleared his throat before pushing up from the bar. He walked back to the living room, sitting down on the couch again before he saw an owl fly into the house. He stood up, taking the letter from it and smiled, tearing it opening.

Henry felt tears in his eyes and he put the letter in his pocket, thanking God. "Oddie, do you mind if I stay one more night? I need to go and get something and not having somewhere to stay would hurt her." He asked, walking back into the kitchen.

"My daughter." Henry told her, joy in his eyes. "Please Oddie, she is the only thing left in my life. She is only four, she shouldnt be to much for just one night." He begged.

Henry nodded before disapparating to get Alice. When he got there, he was attacked with a hug around his legs and he looked down, smiling. "Alice, sunshine, how are you?" He asked her softly. She smiled, saying nothing as she hugged his legs even more.

Henry returned to the house, Alice in his arms. "Daddy...where are we?" She asked him, confused. "We are at a friends house...just for tonight." He whispered to her, sitting down.

Henry had fallen asleep on the couch, Alice laying in his arms. It seemed that when he was with someone who cared for him and didnt think him to be a monster helped him sleep and he Alice close to him, afraid someone would ruin his dream. But his eyes snapped open when he heard something and he looked at Oddie, smiling softly. "This is Alice." he told her, sitting up. Alice's blonde hair was fanned across her face, and her little pink shoes had fell off to show two mismatched socks.

Henry nodded once, looking at the clock. "Well...me and sunshine wasnt suppose to fall asleep..." he mumbled, running a hand threw his hair.

Henry laughed, nodding. "Thanks..for letting me stay another night." He said softly, standing up. "And you wouldnt happen to have any blood..would you?" He asked her.

"Oh...well in that case." He said, shrugging. "I'm use to having blood around...I guess I only thought it to be normal..considering the monster I am." He said, turning his head to Alice.

"Animal blood is...unappealing. I think I can last for a while." He told her, closing his eyes.

"I hope I can." He mumbled before standing up. He picked Alice up, looking at Oddie. "Could you open the door for my room?" He asked her softly.

Henry walked in, laying Alice on the bed. He turned the light off and walked back into the hall with Oddie. He looked down at her before turning around and walking towards the living room.

Henry looked at her again, sighing. He wished he had never done what he done to her those years ago.

"Oddie...I'm still sorry." He told her softly, leaning back into the couch.

"I know..but I want you to know I mean it." He told her softly.

"Then tell me how I can prove it." He told her, getting off the couch. He sat on his knees infront of her, trying to get her to believe him the only way he could. "Please,. just tell me so I can get this guilt off my shoulder." he whispered.
