Sarah sighed, sitting in the office she had been told to work at..or forced to work at. She didnt like the job more then she liked muggles. Simple as that. Who wanted to sit in a desk, taking calls for the jerk as a boss? She sure as hell didnt want to.

"Do you think I care? I have the right to see him if I want." The woman said. Sarah sighed, pushing the girl from the walk way. "And I have the right to call the guards. Now get." She told her. Sarah turned down the hallway, walking into her boss's office. "You should be ashamed of yourself." She hissed to him.

Tim sped into London and drove around town until he found what he was looking for. He stopped and made another withdrawl of money and strolled into an expensive looking hotel. He emerged from the hotel about 15 minutes later, with a key in hand and his wallet considerably lighter. He made his way over to Sarah's apartment and sat down on her couch to think for a few minutes.

"I dont have to be ashamed for anything, Sarah. Now either get out or consider a raise." He said, looking up at her. Sarah glared at him before walking over to his desk, knocking his drink into his lap. "I quit." SHe hissed, turning around. Before she could make it to the door, she saw a spark of light go by her and the door slam shut.

Tim stood up and in a few minutes the contents of Sarah's apartment was the size of a suitcase. He left a note on the counter telling Sarah not to freak out, she hadn't been robbed and he gave her the new address to where she could find everything she owned. He carried the bag out to his car and drove over back through town. He stopped at a local flower shop and ordered a big vase of springtime flowers, something Sarah was sure to love. He took it in his hand and drove to the hotel. He had everything set up in a few short minutes.

Sarah turned around, eyes widen. "What the hell..." She said before being slammed back into the wall. "That was a very bad move Sarah. I gave you this job for one reason. And you already know that reason. Now...be a good girl and do what the hell I said." Her bossed hissed in her ear. Sarah shuddered, but refused to listen to him.

Tim was hyped up on all his achievements of the day he decided to go tell Sarah. He drove over to her job and banged on the door unhappily. He wondered why it was locked, it wasn't lunchbreak or anything, and they didn't close for several hours. "Hello?" he yelled. "Anybody in there? The front door is locked, that can't be good for business." he said lightheartedly.

Sarah's eyes went to the door, as did her boss. With a smirk, he bent down, kissing her. Sarah went to struggle but found it hard with him holding her hands like he was. She heard a click and saw the door open and closed ehr eyes, afraid to see Tim's face when he saw what her boss was doing.

Tim went full force vampire mode when he saw Sarah's boss. His face was rigid and he glared at the boss. He went over to them and lifted him off of her with two hands. "Bad decision," he said simply. He was enraged and punched him straight in the face, knocking him out cold. He let him fall to the floor in a heap. "Are you okay, love?" he said lifting Sarah from the floor, kissing her forehead and giving her a hug. He looked her over as he pulled her out of the building. "WHat a sleeze you were working for. He got it easy right now, wait until I get ahold of some of his business associates, he'll be broke," he said angrily. He pulled her towards his car. "We'll get your car later, okay?" he said.

Sarah breath a sigh of relief. She had hoped he didnt take it as her wanting it and was thankful he didnt. All she done was nodded, closing her eyes. "Dont worry about it..." She whispered, putting her seat belt on with tears in her eyes.

Tim saw her start to cry and put his arm around her shoulder. "Oh, honey, it's okay. I know it's scary, but it's over, you're safe and you don't have to deal with him ever again. Unless you would like to sue him for everything he owns or something like that. Would that make you feel better?" he asked her trying to lighten her mood.

Sarh shook her head, wiping her eyes. "I just want to go home." She whispered, biting her lip softly.

Tim looked at Sarah and pulled the car to the edge of the road. "I handled everything, Sarah. You no longer live under your parents support. You live in penthouse apartment," he said grinning, motioning to the hotel across the street from them. He grinned and hoped Sarah would feel better. He turned the car off and angrily thought about how long this had been going on. He went around to her side of the car and opened the door and helped her out, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Just forget about him, it's over, honey. You don't ever have to deal with him again, right? So lets go marvel in the new beauty you will call home, shall we?" he said with a calm voice. He was being patient with Sarah, and knew she was probably shook up right now and it would take a little while for her to relax.

Sarah nodded, laying her head on his shoulder before moving. She crossed her arms over her chest, looking down at the ground. She didnt feel comfortable having someone buy her something besides her parents and it felt just wrong to take money from someone who wasnt her boyfriend yet. Just a stranger she felt like she known forver.

Tim led her across the street, into the hotel. He looked at her and saw her expression. "Honey, don't feel bad, please. I have money begging to be spent, and with three lifetimes worth of having a good job, and nobody to spend it on. Well...let's just talk about it later," he said hugging her and giving her a gentle kiss.

Tim said, "I know you feel weird taking it, but it's totally natural for me to give. Plus, I can't wait till you see your new place!" He led her into the elevator and said, "I kept all your stuff, but if there's anything you want to get rid of, or any other things you've had your eye on, please tell me!" He wrapped his arm around her waist and waited for the ding that meant they had hit their floor.

Sarah smiled, shaking her head. "You are crazy." She mumbled, taking his hand. When they walked into the new apartment, her eyes widen. "Tim..this is too much." She said in awe.

Tim looked at her excitedly "No it's not. Do you love it?!" he said with enthusiasm. He ran with her in hand saying, "Wait, you haven't seen it all!" He led her into the livingroom. The house was set up with a contemporary simplistic look to it, very modern and in style.

"Oh, it was nothing. You know, I just had so much putting everything together for you. It pleases me to please you, that's what I was aiming for today-and it looks like I succeded," he said grabbing her around the waist and kissing her cheek softly.

Sarah laughed softly, hugging him back. But when he kissed her cheek, she frowned. She turned her head towards him, kissing him softly.

Tim kissed her back and started laughing, "You feeling better, then? Do you wanna talk about it?" he asked leading her into her new bedroom to examine it.

"DO you want me to stop? And then do what with my money? It's getting dusty in the bank. You're doing me a favor by coming into my life, giving me something to do with my money," he said jokingly. "But, really, I want to spend my money on you, plus it's the gentlemen thing to do." He opened the door and said, "Your new bedroom awaits you, Miss Barton."

Sarah smiled at him, walking into the room. She smiled, turning back around and pulling him into a hug. "Thank you." She whispered into his ear.

Tim laughed and said, " Well, if you really don't I'll cancel our reservation. But if you're just saying that because you want..well, this," he motioned to her arms around him, "I'll still be with you after you eat. So how bout I go get your car from work, and you can freshen up if you want and then when I get back we'll go?" he asked.

Tim looked at her and said, "There's nowhere I'd rather be, so don't worry." He ran his hands softly down her face and kissed her once, then ran his fingers through her hair softly.

Sarah smiled, closing her eyes. She moved closer towards her, falling asleep shortly after.

Tim smiled and watched her sleep, he'd never watched a human sleep before. She looked so peaceful, but vulnerable. This thought hurt him, because not too long ago, he would have took advantage of her being a weak human, especially one that was sleeping. He shook his head, shaking the thoughts out of his mind. He was a new person now, he recently realized that deer were a suitable substitute for human, and he was glad; it made him feel better about himself, he felt more human than monster now. Especially since meeting Sarah, his life was better. He'd never felt this way for someone and wondered if she felt the same.

Sarah had her arms wrapped softly around him, afraid to let him go. Everything that had happened today came flooding back to her in her dream and she felt like screaming as she woke up, breathing heavily.

Tim smoothed out Sarah's hair as she woke up frantic. "It's okay, Sarah. You're safe, I'm here, don't worry." he whispered in her ear softly.

Tim smiled again to see her in blissful sleep. He wondered what she dreamt about, if she was dreaming at all. Foolishly, he hoped it was about him.

Sarah's grip on Tim tighten as she dreamed he left her. She felt tears come to her eyes as she slept, which made her move closer to him.

Tim watched Sarah cry in her sleep, thinking it was a heartbreaking scene. He pulled her up close and hugged her to his chest whispering, "It's not real, honey." He wished she would just have a quiet sleep, instead of all these nightmares.
