Welcome to the maze, Stephy and Violet!

You find yourself at the beginning of a huge maze composed of gigantic green hedges. Using your knowledge of spells, especially Charms, you must find a way out of this maze. Numerous obstacles will be presented to you and they need to be passed in order for you to move on through the maze. Tall leafy walls rise up on both sides of you. The sun shines brightly and there's nothing in sight... at the moment. Step into the maze and begin this adventure. Remember to role-play your actions, show your knowledge of spells and charms, and to be creative. Your first obstacle will follow your first post. There will be ten total challenges for you to complete, each of you posting for each one, before you're done.

Stephy dashed on down to the maze excited for what lead before her. She had already gone through the maze before by herself and by the end of it she managed to get a new pet, a baby dragon which was at the moment resting in her dorm under her bed hiding out of sight. Now this time she would be going through the maze with Violet, someone she knew who was excellent at using spells and knowing what to do during certain situations.

Once Stephy got down to the maze she looked around but all she could see was a wall of leaves and the sun shining from above. She than gazed the area looking for Violet. She knew she was nearby and soon spotted her not far from the entrance to the maze.

"Hey Violet, are you ready? This is going to be a lot of fun" Stephy said

Violet sighed, pushing her hair back from her face. She quickly put it up in a ponytail, grabbed her wand, and run down to the maze where Stephy told her to meet her. She was beginning to wonder why she done this when the fact hat stephy was her mommy and she had to listen to her. She laughed, looking at Stephy.

"I'm here, mother dearst. And no...I'm not ready but am I ever?" She asked her, giggling again. She rested her head on stephy shoulder, yawning. "But I am tired." She said, still laughin.

Stephy and Violet enter the maze. They walk for a few minutes without encountering anything, but then they smell something along the lines of rotting fish. Curious, they keep going, and see down a path three ten foot long giant scorpion-esque creatures. Their stingers are held above their heavily armored backs, and their only weak spots are the undersides of their bellies, which have no armor. Their armor deflects spells. Could these be the last remaining Blast-Ended Skrewts? The girls need to find a way to get around them in order to continue through the maze.

Stephy was wondering down the path with violet after the met with each other and soon a smell reached them. Stephy took a giant whift and quickly wished that she didn't. The smell was horrible and could of knocked anyone out. She turned to Violet and said "Well let's go and check it out. I don't think it could be too horrible down that path. Afterall it smells like the thing already died." she laughed.

Stephy started down the path and soon spotted some creature that she quickly reconized to be a Blast-Ended Skrewts. She groaned at the sight and wished that she didn't come down this path. They could go back the way they went or else deal with the creature, Stephy thought that it would probably be best to continue. She knew that she could take on the creature, afterall Violet was there to help.

Stephy looked back to Violet and said "Well I think I'm going to try to get past it." She than pulled out her wand and pointed it at the beast aiming for the bottom of it's stomach. She knew that was the softest and most weakest part of the Blast-Ended Skrewts but once they saw her aiming her wand they would laid down on the ground so that thier belly wasn;t showing.

"Drats" Stephy said as she started to think quickly. She decided that she could use the maze. Stephy pointed her wand at one of the branches and said "capio" (catch) and the twigs and branches on the maze started to crawl towards the three creatures and wrap themselves around them. They than held them up off of the ground showing thier belly. Stephy went to aim a spell at it but one of them exploded hurting Stephy. She fell off of her feet as she cried out in pain.

Violet had followed stephy, wrinkling her nose in digust. When she saw what it was, she rolled her eyes. Only she would have not paid attention to the Amy's class on these things. She let Stephy do what she had to, only to see her fall. "Mommy!" She shouted, glaring at the stupid thing on the ground. "Are you ok?" She asked her, her wand falling to the ground. She quickly picked it up and turned towards the blast-ended skrewts.

She searched her brain for a spell and pointed her wand at them. This had to work, it worked for everything. "Defodio!" She yelled, at them. This spell would send a sound that could blast threw steel, so she didnt doubt it hurting the shell of the animal. But to be sure, she thought of another one. "Duro!" She shouted. It was suppose to turn anything it into stone, or so the book said.

"Mommy, I think I done it!" She said, not looking at what happened.

Good job, girls! You've passed your first challenge!

The combination of Stephy and Violet's spells stops the Skrewts and they continue on. But they are not to be going long - all of a sudden a vine shoots out and tangles itself around their legs - could it be the dreaded Devil's Snare? Out of the hedges come beautiful geraniums - but with a closer look it is revealed that the flowers have fangs and they are coming towards the girls! They will need to get rid of the Devil's Snare and fanged geraniums to continue.

"Thanks for saving me back there" Stephy told Violet as they contiued on down the path. "I'm glad that this time I was able to bring someone else along. I wouldn't of chosen anyone else."

As they continued on it started to get darker and colder but Stephy didn't think much of it. After taking care of the Blast-Ended Skrewts there wasn't anything that she and Violet couldn't take one, so she thought until something grabed her by the leg and started to wrap itself around her neck and arm. Stephy lookd around her and called out "Violet it's Devil Snare! Stay back." She than waved her wand shouted "Incendio" at the base of the vine that was wrapped around her. It caught on fire and released it's grip on her. Stephy crawled away when all of a sudden she saw something heading towards Violet. Stephy pointed her wand at Violet an d shouted "Protego" and the plant smacked into the side of the protective shild not harming Violet. Next it changed direction over towrds the still burning Devil Snare and Stephy saw that it was a fanged geranium.

"Violet there's also fanged geraniums here." We need to get away quick" she sauid as the Devil Snare started to wrap around her again. She pointed her wand at the edge of the maze and shouted "Incendio" once more and the whole side of the maze caught on fire. The Devil Snare shirnked away leaving only the fanged geranium which had now wrapped itself around Stephy. She tried to wave her wand but the fanged geranium knocked it out of her hand and it laid down on the ground, she was defesnseless
