Hayes (Evanna's town)

Evanna shook her head and said, "No, it's not like he'll forgive you anyways...why don't we just go." She was sad on the outside but she was angry. What a jerk, I mean I came all the way here to have him meet my love...and he doesn't accept him?!

James listened to her thoughts, looking down before shaking his head and walking out the door. He decided to walk the halls while she got the chance to cool down.

Evanna sighed. She sat down on the floor, looking at the floor. She groaned irritably and punched the wall angrily. The pain shook through her arm and she whimpered thinking Way to go, idiot. Hurt yourself, that's a sure way to give you results. She looked at her hand and saw her knuckles were red and already swelling, she tried to clench her fist, but it just caused pain. She looked at the wall thinking childishly Well, if I at least left a dent in the wall it was worth it. The wall looked the same, white and shiney and clean. She rolled her eyes, mad at herself for being so stupid, and her hand was throbbing and she couldn't move it. She wished she could be like James, indestructible. Then she could take her anger out, and never hurt herself. And then, one day her parents would be gone, and she could still roam the earth...

After a few hours, James returned to the room, shutting the door behind him and turning to Evanna. "You ok, love?" he asked her softly, sitting behind her and wrapping his arms around her. He nuzzled into the side of her neck, kissing her softly.

"I am now," Ev said simply. She kissed his cheek and said, "Thanks for being you." She closed her eyes and tried to think of only this moment, not her parents or even her hurt hand, she wanted to cherish this moment.

James nodded, laying his head down on her shoulder.

Evanna kissed him. She realized she could channel her anger out through him. She smiled, and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his ear.

James smiled, kissing her back. When her arms went around his neck, he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to him. He let his head lay on his shoulder still as she kissed his ear.

Evanna worked her way from his ear, she kissed his cheek, down his jawline, and then his lips again. She felt this sudden confidence and desire, and everything felt right.

James felt her lips leave his ear, to his cheek, and his jawline before feeling hers against his again. He kissed her back for a few seconds before pulling back, looking at her. "Something is still bothering you...dont make me read your mind..." he told her.

Evanna didn't meet James eye but tried to get rid of all her thoughts before he could invade her mind. She told him, "I'm fine" and kissed him again.

James didnt kiss her back. Instead, he grabbed her shoulders, pushing her back a bit before letting his mind search hers. "Tell me, Evanna.." he told her softly.

Evanna sighed, giving up. "It's just that I think you're lucky in a way. YOu don't have to deal with stupid parents who have stupid, mideval ways and thoughts. You have just yourself to worry about, no family, no drama. And earlier I was angry and I hit the wall," here she showed him her hand then continued, "and I hurt my hand, obviously. I thought it would be great to be so strong, and maybe that if my body was strong, my emotions would be too." She looked away from him, not wanting to see his reaction.

"Love...I'm not perfect. I may not have to listen to my parents...but I do have to listen to those around me talk about what I am.." he told ehr softly, kissing her forehead.

"Well I think you're perfect," Evanna said quietly. "And people will always talk about you, you're just unlucky enough you have to hear it all the time in your thoughts." Evanna sighed, not knowing where she was going with this.

James didnt say anything for a while before standing up and walking to the bed.

"Don't know how to reply to that one, huh? Neither do I," Evanna said. She stood up off the floor and said, "It's not like I want to be a vampire or anything, I just sometimes think it would be easier than this."

*be back later, but gotta go for now*

"Yeah..I understand. No one wants to be a monster." he told her, glaring a bit before wakling into the bathroom.

Evanna stood up and raced after him, grabbing his wrist and turning him around. "Don't you go off and act like that. You know that isn't what I meant. I would love to be a vampire, I would hope you knew that, and knew why. I just didn't say so because I know how you feel about it." she said angrily.

James ignored her, snatching his wrist from her and shutting the bathroom door shut behind him. He walked over to the shower and turned it on, mumbling under his breath.

Evanna shook her head angrily. She grabbed her purse and jacket and walked out of the hotel room, slamming the door behind her. She walked a few blocks away, blowing off steam before turning into a small coffee shop that doubled as a bookstore. She ordered a drink and then scanned the aisles looking for a good book.

James took a shower quickly before walking back into his room. He said that Evanna had left and sighed, laying down on the bed.

Evanna sat down in a big chair, and started reading the book, getting lost from reality, which was her goal.

James laid there for the longest before getting hungry again. He denied his hunger, looking up at the cieling.

Evanna tried to read, but after about 15 minutes she gave up angrily. She put the book back on the shelf and walked out of the store. She walked through town, to a park. She walked slowly through all the trees and playgrounds till she found a bench. SHe plopped down and looked out towards the open fields and the forest beyond it.

James sat up and decided if he was going to be alone, he was going to go out. He walked out the door and down into town until he found a girl. Looking around, he made sure to get her alone before biting into her neck.

Evanna looked at the ground sadly, and wondered what was going on. AM I wrong...or is he? she wondered....

James let the girl go when he was done with her and walked more around town, sighing.

Evanna got antsy sitting down and decided to walk around town again at least taht way I feel useful. She got back to the main street in town and wandered in the distinct direction of her old home. She wondered what her parents would do if she showed up at the house again.

James started walking towards a store and looked around, deciding to buy evanna something.

Evanna shivered in the wind, and pulled her jacket up a little higher. She hitched her purse up and walked faster. She walked towards her parents house but stopped when she saw the woods. She looked around and decided to go in there instead of going to her parents. No matter what she felt at James, she couldn't go to her parents house.

James found a small bracelet and smiled, looking at the small charm on it. He picked it up and took it to the checkout line, pulling money while he done so.

Evanna walked through the forest, making sure to stay close enough to the edges of the forest where light could still shine through the trees, but far enough where she couldn't see clearly out of the forest. She started humming, as she wandered aimlessly.

When James got back to the hotel, he was expecting Evanna to be back. He was smiling when he walked in, but it dropped when he saw she wasnt back. SIghing, he sat down, not sure of what to do.

Evanna walked some more when she noticed she couldn't see light through the trees anymore. She blinked slowly and tried not to freak out. The sun is probably going down she thought. She looked around her and couldn't see a way out of the forest. Suddenly the animals in the forest started sounding more ominous to her. The owls were hooting, and she could hear noises all around her, but it scared her. She looked around frantically and heard a snap of twigs. She screamed and ran the opposite way.
