Ginny looked around, trying to find the pointed hat of the Deputy Headmistress. She turned around, and nearly keeled over when she discovered that McGonagall was right behind her. Recovering, Ginny asked,

"Good day, Professor. Where and who were you with after dinner until Professor Snape found Trelawney's body? And, since I suppose Professor Trelawney may have spoken to you-was she suffering from any anxiety from any kind? Perhaps being troubled by someone?"

"Professor Trelawnet would perhaps not have seen me as someone who she would have been able to talk with. We did not really see eye to eye. I never understood why Albus...but we can not go doubting now can we"

"No I suppose not, Professor. According to my information, you all heard a scream at 8:06 pm, but the body was not found until four hours later-why did it take so long to locate her?" Ginny asked, gazing up at her teacher.

I heard a scream, yes, though when I inspected the corridors, there was no sign of anyone. The scream seemed to come from a different direction to the entrance hall, a high pitched scream if I remember rightly"

"So-it didn't sound like Professor Trelawney screamed? It sounded more like-perhaps a young girl screaming?" she asked, writing down this latest development. "Which direction did the scream come from?"

Etta thought for a moment, a high pitched scream but from a different direction.

"Professer, you have met the little house elf Winky before have u not? Would you say her scream was the high pitched one which you had heard earlier?" Etta asked, her quill working over time with a new theory.
