Ginny began looking for Hagrid, the gameskeeper. After a minute, his large hulking form became clearly visible over the mass of students and teachers. She hurried over to him, making sure her quill was well inked.

"Greetings Hagrid. I have to ask you a few questions regarding Professor Trelawney's death. Where and who were you with from after dinner until she was found? I was also wondering if you have any black clothes that you wear at all."

(Hagrid wiped his muddy hands upon his black tunic)

"Nasty buisiness this, aint it, nasty buisness. oo'd 'ave thought...and at 'ogwarts too"

(Hagrid sat down upon a small tree stump, his grazed hands resting in his large lap)

"Afta' Dinner I 'ad somethin' to attend to in mah hut, nothin' serious, just things."

(Hagrid gestered to his tunic)

"Only this tunic and mah special robes are black. I don' like ter wear dark colours...reminds me of mah mothers family..."

"Could you please elaborate on these "things"?" Ginny asked him politely. She eyed his black tunic.

"Hagrid, do you think I could have a look at all your black clothes-I just need to check something out."

"Sorry Hagrid, did you happen to see anyone outside when you were in the hut? How long did you stay at home? And how's Fang?"

Skyla saunters in and quietly waits for the others to ask their questions before asking;

"Along with your clothes, can we also see your shoes?"

Skyla notices the weird looks and shrugs them off. she had a theory.

I do know you tried to keep a baby dragon once, lovely creatures indeed but not right for this sort of place really, and then of course you had your three headed dog, and...." Etta reeled off a list of things which Hagrid had then stopped.

"Hagrid, where was Gawp?"

(Hagrid picked up his axe and moved it inside his hut)

(Hagrids tunic has been ripped in many places, though his special robes are in tact.)

“Devils snare, ay? I don’ know much about tha’ though I know tha’ it often comes unspotted after it has…well you know…I was in mah hut most of the nigh’, though I do remember a couple o’ people coming past, I know Professor’s Snape and Dumbledore went pas’ here to the main gates a’ one point, at leas’ I think they did”

(Hagrid grinned)

“Fangs jus’ great, thank you fer asking Jenn”

(Hagrid shows skyla his shows, they are caked in all sorts of mud and soil)

“Gawp is safely in the mountains with mah family…Dumbledore…now I really shouldn’t ‘ave said that’”

"Its okay Hagrid, i wont tell anyone about your pet dragon, or where Gawp is," Etta smiled brightly. "Now, you said something about Professers Dumbledore and Snape, did they leave the school grounds at all?"

I also know that Harry Potter is notorious for coming to visit you in the late evening of the nights. Did he show up here at all? I'm aware of his invisibility cloak." Fated says knowingly.

A slytherin girl ran up to Hagrid and after hearing his last remark asked"Did Snape and Dumbledore both leave the school grounds? I Know they didn't leave together..but did the both leave the grounds? Also if Potter came over here what did he want, did you two have a conversation?"

"Ah, well...yeh see I knew he was there, an' I opened the door and, well nothin' came in, but I knew e' was there yeh see. I jus' let 'im sit in silence for a while, even offered 'im a drink, 'e stayed for a while, not talking, 'e has a lot on 'is mind, I think."

(Hagrid frowned)

"Look, I can't tell yeh tha' Dumbledore and Snape left the school each on their own..."

(He gasped)

"Now look what you've done, making me say things I shouldn'"
