| I'm gona put it all in spoilers because... well, you know. Too complicated lol. - Spoiler:
The girl in the train station? Come on, that's taking the whole teenage hormones too far. The book just said he's stayed in didn't it? Although it was kinda good seeing Harry calling himself a jerk. No owl results? Seriously? It was just a big clump out of the movie for me. I was looking forward to seeing Grangers face. Ah well. Recuiting Slughorn was... different. I think they should have stuck to the conversation theyhad in the book, it was a lot more effective. However, I think people got the point of what Dumbledore was getting at, taking Harry with him. The whole hugging thing they had going when Harry arrived at the Burrow was strange. I think I was the only one in the whole theatre that laughed when Ron hugged him, or is it just my sense of humour?
I have no comment on Weasleys Wizard Wheezeys... It played up to what it was suposed to be. The way i imagined. However, where was Harry's tour of the store. It would have been nice to introduce some of the stuff that Harry would use in Later life. Eg. The little bug thing that Harry throws into Umbridges office in DH.
The train thing was good. (Forgive me, im struggling to remember half of this :L) Although, I think that Tom Felton is getting older looking and more ugly every day. I had to look away when Draco stood on Harrys face. Just too gross. When Luna came in, the first thing I noticed was that her Irish accent is disappearing. Seriously, it's becoming 'Londonish' The whackspurt was a stroke of pure excellence in my opinion. We've had our doubts about Luna and her little creature obsessions I like the way the film made it look like she wasn't mad. It was a nice touch.
Potions. I loved Hermiones hair at th end of it all. And Harry and Rons little fightfor the new book. Then I noticed that Slughorn looks like my Grandad. Strange.
Quidditch- Cormic McLaggen I *squeed* when I saw him. In my head he was an ugly ginger jerk. In the movie, he's... well.... just... the opposite. Completely. Someone tell me why Hermione didn't need her wand to confund him though. There was no wand in the shot of the screen, so where was it? Does she have to actually point the wand at him to cast the spell? Just little things like that that caught my attention. Cormics suggestive scenes were fun... just the look on his face when he was sitting on that broom lol.
Dumbledores first memory. Baically the way I imagined. However his second memory. Why did he have to make the older Voldemort so damn ugly... I think after the second movie they should have found someone that looked even a little bit like the dude who played voldemort in CoS.
Slughorns first party. Cormic again. This will be one of the scenes that I will watch over and over. A little squeak came from me when he licked his finger at Hermione... she's mad for not liking him :L
Harry was not on Felix felicis when he was that happy. He was high on some illegal substance. The most I laughed was when he did the impression of Arogog. Hulairous. And then when he was out-smarting Slughorn in the greenhouses. I wonder if we'll see more of that kind of Harry in DH, probibly not but it would be fun lol. I liked the way they added in a bit of the 'Odo' song. I was singing along for the last line :L
Dumbledore taking Harry to the cave was...alright. There wasn't enough tension in it. I think maybe because we had laughed so much itwas hard to take the ending serously. Although the pain in dumbledores eyes when he was taking the potion was, effective. Lucy (Gryffindorgal4HP) cried. Dumby had a quick recovery though, very quick. But I guess miricles happen. The fire 'effect' was amazing, very graphic indeed.
No apparation lessons. So Harry couldn't apparate them back.. would have liked the see Harry do it, just once. I wonder how they're going to get Hermione apparating in movie 7 then?
Got back to the caslte. Harry was a bit of a melon. He wasn't frozen so he should have just stunned Draco there and then. There was an opening which shouldn't have been there. That scene was just a little too different. It wouldn't have been hard for them to show us that we frozen under the cloak. Book Harry simply wouldn't have trusted Snape as much as movoe Harry did in HBP.
No funeral? Whaaa? But that seemed to be it. Over very soon. No more kisses from Ginny. Oh God I forgot to mention the room of requirment. Ah well. Draco= ugly but successful lol. Oh and I forgot about the fire in the Burrow. The fire was hot... and the teamwork with Harry and Ginny was cute. Although burning down the burrow was a bit too far. That house plays a big part in the next movie. So i dont think they should have burnt it down. Just an opinion.
I think the movie was great, despite everything they left out, and some things mentioned in here which shouldn't have been added in or taken out of shot. I guess its just major fans that will notice that. There was times when Ron got poisoned where people in the audiance gasped and i went. 'HOW MANY PEOPLE THINK RONS DEAD?' I just got dirty looks. Buthey! How cares lol.

| I'll just stick it all in a spoiler
- Spoiler:
The start of the movie seemed a bit jumpy to me and I was glad that they didn't continue that way throughout the whole movie after about 20 minutes it started to flow. I loved the joke side to the whole movie like ron and Harry fighting for the book and hitting each other, it makes it seem more realistic.
Loved Cormac I imagined him kinda goyle like but he was just hot!
I really hated the Harry and Ginny thing it felt like Ginny was running after Harry like tying up his shoe laces for him. The awkward moments were good but its Harry that runs after Ginny now. And the kiss!?! It was awful just a peck in secret Ron and Lavenders kiss was how I imagined Harry and Ginny's.
And eurgh speaking of lavender I really didn't like the actress I thought she was just awful and didn't play the part very well.
Kinda not on course but why change the Hogwarts express? Its looked perfectly fine for the past 5 years why on earth did they have to give it a new design?
WWW was cool though didn't get enough attention in my opinion.
I really didn't like the whole battle at the burrow thing there were hardly any death eaters the burrows important for the next book and Ron didn't even help. If it was real Ron would have helped. I liked Ginny running after Harry but it didn't work. There just werent enough death eaters to make it seem like such a threat.
Just like when they invaded hogwarts there was like 4 of them, the order would have just pwned them. And Harry wasent even pertrfied under the cloack she he would have done something.
And where was dumbledores funeral!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *screams* The raising the wands was a nice touch but would have been so much better if they did it at the funeral with all the mermaids and hagrid stood at the back with his pink umberella raised.
Overall it was a really good movie but them things just ruin it I can over look most of them but missing out dumbledores funeral pfft.

| Spoiler Time - Spoiler:
Ok please bare with me as I'm trying to remember everything. The beginning was a bit boring. Whats with the chick? Weird, anyway I love how Slughorn transforms from a chair. The movie kept the general idea of the book, some spots were added of course and some were taken out. I'd say I truly enjoyed the moment Hermione's birds attacked Ron. Quite comical. I <3 the part when Dumbledore asks for water, and Harry reaches into the water surrounding them. The audience jumped and laughed so much when the creatures came out. We all knew it was going to happen, but just wasn't prepared for it to be that fast...lol. (I only jumped a little -.-) Now this is my opinion so please don't hate me . I hated the ending. It was as if they pieced the last bits together and said finished. There was no funeral, which plays a semi role for explaining how Dumbledore is gonna return in the 7th book. I also didn't like how they didn't attack the school. They just walked right though the whole school and no one noticed??? Come on. Wheres the battle scene? Gah, and Draco didn't look as dreadful as I expected. So disappointed with his acting. Also when the death eaters kidnapped Olivander, they didn't explain it well enough. I hope in the next film they try to remind people about that, also they should have the funeral hopefully in the next film. It was a very fast ending, but I love the raising of the wands. Thats all I can remember right now, hopefully more to come later. *hugs*

They just walked right though the whole school and no one noticed??? Come on. Wheres the battle scene? I didn't hate the ending but I was slightly disappointed by it. Where was the big battle? It seemed to go out on a whimper, and was very choppy. I think that could have been done better. About DD's funeral... I have read a rumour that the first DH film will be opening with his funeral. So we might see it... On the whole, I really enjoyed it. Very, very funny and lots of great moments. I wasn't even too bothered by the parts where it deviated from the book. The only time this annoyed me was at the beginning - what was the point of the flirtiness in the tube station cafe? That five minutes could have been spent on DD fetching Harry from the Dursley's. I enjoyed the love potion parts, and the parts where Harry was using the Felix Felicis - excellent acting from Dan Radcliffe there. In fact, all of the trio's acting was pretty good. Emma Watson didn't even do her eyebrow acting this time With such a huge cast of characters it was sad but understandable that they had to cut some of the parts down - but it was a shame to only see small amounts on Neville, Luna, McGonagall etc. I also wish they hadn't had Neville at the party as a waiter - good comic relief, yes, but kinda dumbed down his character even further. They'd better have him fetching the trio from the Hog's Head and the killing Nagini bit in the last one! LOVED Jim Broadbent as Slughorn, and the Slug Club meeting was so funny. Cormac - some great comic acting from him, he took his small part and really went with it. More could have been made of the Sectumsempra scene - where was Snape getting angry at him? Harry running to hide the book seemed a little weird without having a telling off from Snape first. That said, loved the preceding fight - thought Tom Felton was very good at playing the conflicted Draco. On the whole I'll give the film 8.5/10 - loses points because the ending felt too rushed and choppy.

| Well I watched the movie last night!! Of course I read all the spoilers here before I went because..well it was just SO tempting. hehe. - Spoiler:
I was very pleased with the movie. I think it had great comedy, especially the whole Felix bit! That part had to be my favorite! XD I think the end was choppy, like everyone has said. I mean, I understood it, but only because I've spent so much time in the books. Like, my mother didn't really get it until I explained it to her. They didn't talk about the Half-Blood Prince enough. Not having the funeral didn't really bug me. I was mad that there wasn't a battle, it was pretty dumb because they (the D.E) just cruised through the school like nothing. I was kinda looking forward to meeting Alecto and Amycus for some reason, and we didn't see them. But they did kind of introduce Fenrir, which was good. Speaking of Fenrir, where was Bill?!!! There was no mention of him, or Fleur, so does that mean there won't be a wedding at all? I absolutely loved Draco! *hides* On the train, when he was talking I realized he had fully grown into that sneer of his. And I thought it was just so...cute? XD I guess it was okay that Luna found him instead of Tonks. Also...where was Scrimegour? There was no mention of him at all! I think Ron was adorable in the movie! *squee* I loved the whole love potion bit. The whole theatre was roaring at that part! I didn't really like the guy they chose for Slughorn, he just seemed too quiet. I imagined him to be louder and obnoxious...but I guess it was okay. Here's the part that I keep missing. I never remember reading about a fire at all in the book! When the Burrow burned down...that wasn't supposed to happen...was it? I mean, really, was that in the book? I read HBP like 4 times and I can't recall anything about a fire of such sort! >.< It couldn't have burned down...what about Bill and Fleur's wedding? Where is it gonna be if the house is gone? I'm gonna be really mad if the wedding is gone completely...I mean that is what sets the ball rolling basically in D.H. I hated how they did the part when Ollivander was taken...I mean I barely understood it, so how is the rest of the crowd supposed to? Luuurved Cormac! He's so cute! Thought it was hilarious at Slughorns party when he licked his fingers at Hermy! <3 Oh, and what was that about "dragon balls" at the Christmas party? That was a riot! I thought the 'oppugno' part wasn't as great as it could have been. I just figured she'd scream at him and they'd completely attack Ron...buut it was pretty good. I loved how Hermione and Harry talked about Ginny, it made things more obvious. ANd when Ginny and Harry hid the book, what a line! "I could hide in here too, if you'd like". Ooh...if Ron only knew! XD
Well I might add more in here later!!! Buuut...I loooved the movie! It's my new Favorite!! XD EDIT: I remember more!! - Spoiler:
Okay, I thought it was funny when the trio was in Hogsmeade, and Harry was all excited to see Slughorn. Suck up, hehe. And it was cute when Ron told Hermione about the drink on her face, and she got mad and embarrased. Hint hint hint! And on the topic of Romione, when Hermione was talking about the Amortenia and she said "spearmint toothpaste"...how cute!! Cuz, how Ron told her she had toothpaste on her face in the beginning of the movie. Oh, and in the beginning it was funny how everyone stuck their head out from their floor in the Burrow and talked about Harry. Also...I didn't like the woman who played Narcissa. >.< I imagined her to be subtlely beautiful and graceful...I just didn't like that woman very much...oh well.
I loved Luna's lion head! I almost fell out of my chair laughing so hard at that! And her dress for the Chrismas party...just loved it!
Also...I thought Hermione looked perfectly exhausted with her crazy hair when she didn't win Felix.

Im the only one who hated the movie huh? Waaaaay to funny for my liking. Not that good with following the book...TONKS AND REMUS DO NOT GET TOGETHER IN THIS BOOK!!! Yet...they do in the movie...I just...didnt like it. To many sexual comments in it for my liking.....I really only liked Luna, Hermione, Draco, and Bella....and I did like the part were Harry was on the potion...it was really really funny...like he was high...but otherwise....I didnt really like it. Kinda of mad I even went to see it...so I had a plan...wear a twilight shirt...if its good...I was dared to wear the shirt...if I hated it...IM REALLLY A TWILIGHT FAN FORCED TO WATCH THE MOVIE!! And thats what I said too...I just...didnt like the movie as much as I thought I would...

For the most part I really enjoyed the movie. True they took a lot of my favorite parts out, but none of those were essential to the plot. It was still quite a good movie. Usually the end of the movies carries some sort of closure. We missed that without the funeral. Hopefully the rumor (and my theory) is correct, and they'll have it at the beginning of the first DH movie.

| Saw this on Wednesday so don't remember everything and this is going to be random babbling but...- Spoiler:
I really liked it :D I think it was a good movie movie, but awful book to movie. Honestly, if you hadn't read it, I don't know how you could follow it because barely anything was explained. I'm just wondering how Harry, Ron and Hermione are going to know WHAT and WHERE the Horcruxes are and HOW they're going to destroy them in the next movies. If I remember correctly, there was NO MENTION of the rest in the movie.
And no Apparition? Geeze!
But I loved the funny :D This one really felt like they were at a Wizarding school, all of the actual teenage boy behavior of Ron and Harry (ex: scuffle for the potion's book) and the total obvious that Lav Lav adored Ron with. She was hilarious, love to hate her XD Really, really, really loved the humor, made it so fun.
Would've liked Hermione to be a bit more angry when she sent the birds at Ron. But aaaaadore the tension between those two, loved all of the Romione hint hint hints.
Didn't really like the Harry and Ginny, seemed like she was suddenly THERE all of the time. They didn't even date! How's he supposed to make a heroic break up when all they had was one kiss?
The whole Tower part was so off though. Harry would've done something since Dumbledore hadn't Petficus Totalus'd him, there was NO BATTLE...but still really sad when Dumbledore falls. End up feeling very sad for Draco too. Oh - really liked how they showed us what he was up to. That was super cool.
Quidditch was fantastic. Ron is amazing.
Cormac is gorgeous.
mmmmmmm
Just one more thought: Ron on love potion and Harry on Felix are two of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. <3

Well, I think it was the best HP movie so far. It was fun, it almost had all the best things in it - and more. I didn't think it would've been so funny :D Although, a few things made my eye twitch annoyingly: - The waitress at the beginning of the movie. No, Harry. You're not supposed to care. Go away, random girl xD - Remus/Tonks. I mean seriously - they were supposed to "hook up" in the end, right? Tonks was supposed to be all moody and sad, not all "Sweetheart?" xD - Narcissa's hair. What WAS that black thing in her hair!? Wasn't she supposed to have blonde hair, and not some random black thing there? I firts thought it was a hat or something, but... I guess it wasn't xD - Dumbledore's comment about Harry and Hermione being so close - I MEAN WHAT!? :D Where did THAT come from!? xD - Where the hell were Bill and Fleur? - ...and I really wanted to see the memory about the Gaunt family. - No funeral for good ol' Dumbledore But really, I understand why they left that last one out. It wouldn't have fit the movie, not after the emotional scene where Harry kneels down beside Dumbledore. I mean, it would've been a bit too much. Anyway, I liked the ending with Fawkes, and the trio standing together like in the 4th film. So, yeah. Good movie
EDIT: - Spoiler:
I agree with Lana - Ron on love potion and Harry on Felix Felicis is mmmmm... so beautiful :D And funny! I mean, I kept saying "Dude, Harry's high!" all the time :D I mean... seriously - FUNNEEEEH! xD

I enjoyed the movie even though I felt they did leave a lot out. First, I must agree with all those who didn't like the waitress at the beginning. Also that Bill and Fleur never got together at the end! Ahhh! I love them together and really hope they're together in the next movie... Also I didn't like the Burrow scene at all. It was a nice try to add some action into the middle of the movie I guess but it didn't work for me at all and seemed a bit random and unexpected espicially since the Burrow ended up burning down! It's too important in the next book to burn down! I agree with Caro on Dumbledore. He seemed to into Harry and his relationships. I just found it unlike his character. I didn't think they went enough into Tom Riddle as a youth and the memories or explained Snape and how he's the Half-Blood Prince and why. I had to explain to quite a few of my friends who don't read Harry Potter. Also, I HATED how Harry didn't hide the potions book. How is he supposed to recognize the last Horcux now? They never showed the diadem in even a screenshot that I could see so I don't know how they are going to manage to get the last Horcrux in unless they get Ginny to help? On the subject of Ginny the shoelace scene just made me laugh...so akward. Overall I enjoyed the movie and thought Emma Watson did the best job out of the trio espicially the scene with Harry talking about Ron and Lavender Almost forgot, absolutley loved the idea of all of them putting up they're wands. Very sweet!

I watched this last Friday I think so like Elana my memories a little fuzzy now lol. But I agree with everything everyone said, the girl in the beginning (Er what?), the Burrow burning out of the blue, Ginny suddenly being everywhere and her arkward moments with Harry. Now I'm not exactly a fan of any ships but I like to keep things close to the book and the Hinny moments just didn't feel right. Their moments were awkward and out of place. At the most they just looked like they had crushes on each other but no great love. Hermione had better moments with Harry.
Which reminds me, what was with the moment at the end with Harry and Hermione talking while Ron just sat in the background? Dude! You're the trio! Go stand and talk with them! Seems to me like the screenwriters want Harry and Hermione to get together lol They're always alone talking and stuff.
Now onto the good parts of the movie, as mentioned I loved Cormac lol he was definitely my eye candy for the entire movie. And he was actually exactly how I expected him to be, handsome and cocky cause he knew he was handsome xD. Loved the funny parts although Lavender was a bit overdone for me. Funny but she wasn't that psychotic lol. One thing I actually really liked was Dumbledore. In the previous movies, I always thought Dumbledore was off as I always imagine him to be always calm and all knowing. The other Dumbledores were sorta high strung to me. xD But the Dumbledore in this movie was much better.
Now back to the bad lol the ending was eh to me. It seemed like it built it up so much to sorta...nothing. It didn't end with the bang I thought it would. It could be so much more dramatic and exciting if they just kept the end to the way it was supposed to be with the battle and Harry chasing down Snape through the fight. I mean, what's with the Death Eaters just waltzing in and out of Hogwarts so easily? Where the heck are all the teachers and Order members???
It was a good movie but not necessary the best for me. I still like the 4th one better lol. But this is a close second. I really don't know how they will make the last movie. So many things were overlooked and the 7th book is so complicated. I seriously had to reread it so many times to completely understand everything.

Where to start? Overall, a great, funny movie! Lots of funny scenes, such as the Romilda Vane love potion chocolates, Aragog's funeral and the whole Felix part, Lav-Lav moments, etc ... :D However, maybe I'm being picky, but there are some things that just weren't transposed the way they should have, and not just because of having to shorten the movie. For example (I think others have mentioned it, too) - the ending. Where was the drama? Honestly, after *crying* at Dumbledore's death when I read the books, I expected to be a bit more moved when it happened in the movie, but .. nada. Might have something to do with the fact that - although I love Dumbledore in the books, or maybe because of that fact - I believe Michael Gambon's portrayal of Dumbledore is way to cold. Also, it felt like they just skated over the whole ending - not enough Death Eater tension, too bad they missed out the battle. Also - maybe this is because I know what happens later on, but I've also asked someone who hasn't yet read DH, and they agreed - it's WAY too clear that Dumbledore asks Snape to kill him! In the book, we only find out what DD had told Snape in DH, and DD actually *begs* Snape *not* to kill him during the battle - that thing was building up the tension, dude! You ended up hating Snape after that! But in the movie, DD just says "Please", weakly, and it rather more sounds like "Please, do kill me" ... wrongwrongwronnnng! ><" (ah, the rantingness xD) Also, what's with Harry appearing to be so perfect? Like, in the book, he forgets to ask Slughorn for the memory a few times, and messes up quite a bit, whereas here, he's something like, "Dumbledore's Perfect Little Helper", doing and understanding everything DD tells him right away. Noooo! Buuuut ... what I LOVEDLOVEDLOVED in this movie: QUIDDITCH! Seriously, the game was amazing! XD What I found really funny, but quite unrealistic - the hospital wing scene with Lav-Lav/Ron/Hermione - would normal students start discussing love problems with Dumbledore, McGonagall and Snape all there? XD Plus: Weasley's Wizard Wheezes! - bigger and better than I had imagined, Gred and Forge seem to have quite the businessman spirit - I is jealous! XD Also, I would have liked to see a bit more of Hagrid, but I guess that's not that important. Anyhow, all in all a great movie, will watch it again this weekend and might then refine my views about it. :D
Edit: to Violet's comment: - Spoiler:
Actually, there is talk of Tonks/Remus in the book, though not that much at the beginning. For once, when Tonks rescues Harry from the train (whyyy didn't this happen in the book, btw? Also, too little auror-work in general xD), Harry notices that she looks sad and thinks it because of Sirius, yet later, we find out it was because she was thinking of Remus. Then, in the hospital after the battle, there's a little bickering going on between Tonks and Remus, because Remus says he's too old and dangerous for Tonks, and McGonagall goes all, "Oh, but Dumbledore would want nothing more but there to be a little bit more love in the world" or something along those lines.
... and I seriously care too much for the details. Too much for my own good, lol. XD

| Okay, I saw the movie again last night!!! So here's some other thoughts... - Spoiler:
Well I remember thinking there was no mention of Scrimegour at all...but there was! Well, kinda. When Narcissa and Bella went to see Snape, he was reading the newspaper and the title was something about 'the new minister'.
And before Katie was cursed when the trio was walking, Hermione looked a little tipsy which was funny. haha
Uhmmm....well I guess this is all....I don't wanna play-by-play the movie for everyone...XD

| it was a fun movie for people who never read the movie, but it was disapointing for me, and heres a few reasons why. - Spoiler:
they never discussed harry getting sirius' house, they never had the scene where scrimidger was cought by harry. crab and goeyle never drank the polyjuice potion to help malfoy. and they could have had the big battle af the Death Eaters vs the order at the end, that would have been nice.

I think that it was better that they didnt show the funeral in this movie, because stuff happens that sets down foundation for the next part of the story. They will probably start off the next movie with his funeral.

| I always here people say that the 6th movie is the best one yet but i always here people say that when they haven't read the books. I agree that it was a great movie but i was very disappointed because they did not mention a lot of things that were included in the book... for instance: - Spoiler:
They left out the Engagement of Fleur and Bill Weasly which i find important because it has a significance in the 7th book. Also, they did not mention anything about Greyback the wearwolf.... but im sure they will in the 7th movie because Bill Weasly gets attacked by him in the movie so.... That's all i pretty much have to say

| BAD: - Spoiler:
Jeez! I'm just so mad that... 1. They burned down the Burrow 2. There was no final battle and 3. Snape's killing curse was frikken BLUE!!! Ugh! It seems that the movie makers are intent on making green stuff be blue... GOOD: - Spoiler:
Awesomeness= Felix Felicis!! THat was the best. That and the love potion and right after the Quidditch game with Hermione's birds. And before it with Harry: "I don't know what you're talking about".

Grr the Burrow!
I'm watching it now, and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the Tom Riddle portrayals. They rock something spectacular, and make the movie, in my opinion. Also: the Felix bit. Wicked funny.
