Thomas in the morning.

Veronica walked out of the common room, not really knowing where she was going. She was looking down, thinking to herself, when she almost ran into someone. "I'm sorr-" she began to say, as she looked up, and saw that it was Thomas. "Thomas!" She reached up and wrappe dher arms around him."I was just thinking of you."

She stared at him, and waited for him to say something.

Thomas looked down at Veronica. "Oh, hey there." he said distractedly.

"hmmm...are you alright?"
Veronica asked.
It was clear that he had something else on his mind.

"Yupp. Im fine" he said truthfully. "Just thinking."

"Hmm....may i ask what about?"
She looked up at him and smiled.

"Lots of stuff." he said as he shrugged

"Oh..."
Veronica looked at the ground again.
Have i done something...?
She looked back at Thomas.
"Are you happy?"
She asked him, fearing what he might say.

"What do you mean?" he asked her calmly.

"I mean, are you happy with me?"
Veronica hadn't ever really had a steady boyfriend before, so she was a little in-experiecened with these things.
She looked in to his eyes, and waited for an answer.

"Well yea.." he said after a moment.

"but...."she said.
She could tell he was hesitating.

"No buts." he said quickly

"Really?" She asked. She felt a little better, but was still questioning.
"I'm sorry, it's just that i feel like i don't deserve you..."

"Oh." he said softly
