Making New Friends (Ziggy + Stephy)

Bella walked down the streets of Diagon Alley, trying to look casual. She was doing a fairly okay job of looking unsuspicious, aside from the fact that she was slightly jumpy. So, technically, Bella was still meant to be in school, but she was fairly sure they wouldnt miss her for one day.

Bella had snuck up to Hogsmead and met up with a friend of hers who was older and could apperate, and together they had set out for Diagon Alley. But he had had to rush off, leaving Bella alone with no way to get back, just hoping he was going to come back for her.

Bella was walking down the street, fixing her hair a bit as she walked, using the shop windows as a mirror when out of nowhere some one ran straight into her, knocking her down.

''Im so sorry'', The other girl said quickly.

''Dont worry about it'' Bella replied from the pavement with a quick smile. She removed her shoes -16inch strappy designer heels- and stood up. SUre enough, one of the pencil thin heels had broken. ''Urg'', Bella groaned, feeling extreemely short with out her shoes. Bella was 15, and quite small and petite. Bella flipped her blonde hair, checking her reflection in the closest store window to make sure she hadnt messed up her makeup.

Bella smiled as the other girl held out her wand. She passed over the shoe, ''Thanks'', She said, even Bella had to admit wearing the shoes had been a pretty stupid move. The girl probably thought she was an idiot, parading around Diagon Alley in ridiculous footwear.

Bella got the impression that the other girl felt bad, so she said, ''I should've known better than to wear shoes like these out to here'', She smiled, ''Might as well be asking for trouble!''

Bella shook her head at her own silliness. She smoothed the fabric of her glod, clingy dress, whilst looking at the other girls outfit. SHe was wearing darker fabrics of black and dark brown, which contrasted noticably against her pail skin. Bella liked it. It was blod and edgy, and Bella had never seen anyone else pull it off before.

''Bella'' Bella smiled, introducing herself. She flicked a piece of her blonde hair over her shoulder and took her shoe back from the girl who had just introduced herself as Silvia. It looked good as new, which made Bella smile happily. She kept both her shoes in her hands though, rather than putting them back on, because whilst she could walk in them she definatly needed to be sitting down to put them on.

Bella looked up from her shoes, back at the other girl. ''So what brings you to Diagon Alley, Silvia?'' Bella asked her.

Bella smiled, ''That sounds like fun''.

She noticed Silvia kept glancing around at other people, almost suspiciously. But she kept avioding people's gazes, like she was hiding something. She also seemed to be giving Bella a bit of an odd look, somewhere between confusion and suprise. Bella mentally shook herself. She was obviously paying wayyyy to much attention and reading into things too much.

''Well I planned on spending the day with... a friend'' Bella said, ''But he got called away, so now I'm stuck here for the next couple of hours until he remebers to come get me. If he remebers''. Bella frowned. He wouldnt forget her. Would he? ''So yeah, I figured why not do a bit of shopping to pass the time?'' Bella laughed lightly.

Bella smiled. ''That'd be heaps cool, as long as you wont get tired of me asking your opinion of everything I try on'', Bella laughed. She wasnt exactly joking though. ''Is there anything you want to shop for?'' Bella asked. SHe didnt want to monopolise everything, or for Silvia to get bored...

''My friend is just this guy I know... Not really sure why he left'' Bella said with a small pout. She didnt really want to explain that she kinda had a thing with this guy, and that today was kinda a dat, with benifits. Usually when you told someone you barely new something like that, they tended to thing you were a bit easygoing...

Bella smiled at Silvia, she got the feeling she didnt get out much. That wasnt nesecarrily a bad thing though. Bella slowly appraised Silvia's clothing, and noticed her fondness for layers of darker shades. She totally pulled it off, but standing next to her own shiny gold dress Bella had to admit it made Silvia look slightly depressive.

''Honey when was the last time you went out shopping for clothes? Maybe something a little bit brighter? You look kind of sad in dark clothes...'' Bella exclaimed with a smile. She tralied off a bit towards the end, not wanting to offend Silvia or anything. Looking at her, Bella could see that she was quite pretty, despite what looked like very little effort. Bella smiled as she pictured how stunning she could look with some new clothes, maybe a bit of blush to make her cheeks slightly more rosy...
