Medical Report

Thus far in this class, you've done classes on all sorts of wonderful magical creatures. So this class will draw upon what you know, and then help you apply it in a different setting, while learning some cool new things too!

So your task is this: choose a magical creature you've already learnt about in this class. Using what you know about them, I want you to imagine they've been injured or fallen ill. Write a medical report detailing their various ailments, how you believe they became ill or injured based on the evidence, and what you've done in order to help them heal or otherwise get better. This task should be no less than 250 words.

Some points to think about:

-what sort of first aid does the creature require? A splint, for a broken leg? A poultice of healing herbs?
-If you're using a potion or a healing plant to help, why does it help? Be sure to explain your reasoning - if the creature is burnt, it needs this plant for its soothing properties, etc.
-The animal's response time to its treatment, and how it seems to be holding up - is it skittish, can you treat it safely, or is it frightened of human contact? etc.

You may include any pictures, etc., that you think necessary. Remember the more creative you are, the more points you will receive!
