| we know that Bill was bitten by greyback, though it wasnt a full moon, so do you think that he will become full werewolf. Also what part to you think he will play in the next book? Yes, we will see his wedding, but I wonder whether he will aid lupin, werewolves together. I also wonder why it was Bill who JK chose to be bitten? | |

| I believe they said that he wasn't a full werewolf, but he will probably have some nasty side effects.
I think JK chose Bill to show that Fleur isn't 100% shallow.

| I doubt Bill will be a full werewolf, Lupin said he wouldn't be, but still... something will probably happen.
As for choosing Bill, I agree with Ginny. I have to say that I didn't like Fleur at all in the begining, but at the end I think she was really wonderful and it shows she really is in love with Bill.

| I agree with the fact that JK might have made bill into a half werewolf to show that fleur wasnt 100% shallow, though I think it has another importance too (although what that may be i dont know as of yet) - perhaps wormtail may use his silver hand to kill bill and not remus? | |

| That's a possibility. I've wondered that before as well...because we know it's not going to be Remus that dies at the hand of the..er...silver hand. JKR said that in the Owen interview during the HBP-release weekend.
So if not to kill Remus, what other purpose does the hand being silver serve?
Now, with the possibility of Bill having werewolf blood running through his veins - Wormy killing Bill is looking likely.

| I think that is possible. The silver hand is relevent to the story and I think that bill is the prime focus. I think this might be the bigger reason why JK made bill a werewolf, or part werewolf, though saying this - would the silver still kill him if he is not full werewolf? | |

| I suppose being a werewolf is like having an allergy (sorry for the terrible analogy lol) - what I mean by this is you can perhaps equate being a full werewolf, like Remus, to having a peanut allergy, which is potentially fatal, and then having slight werewolf like tendencies (bill) to having hayfever, which whilst painful, is not fatal. If that made sense at all, what I'm trying to say is that even a small amount of werewolfishness (i.e. a minor allergy) could still be affected by silver (i.e. pollen). Going slightly I have a feeling the silver hand will be used to kill Greyback - perhaps this will be when Wormy pays back his life-debt to Harry | |

| lol yes that made sense!
That is a possibility - greyback being killed by the silver hand = possibly through the simple fact that wormtail owes harry a life debt - maybe thats how itll come about?

| I dont know but its . lol. I think bill will be hairier and have a stronger desire for rare meat. (ew) I think that he will mention something in passing at the wedding that will turn out to be a major clue to help Harry locate the horcuxes. | |
