| Okay, be warned, this is a MAJOR spoilage!! - Spoiler:
HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART II - DIFFERENCES FROM THE BOOK. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II - Differences from the book. Obviously Spoilers for those who haven’t read the book. (Also: Possible Heart-break when you realize how much has been changed.)
- MR. OLLIVANDER appears to be familiar with the DEATHLY HALLOWS, while in the book, he doesn’t understand what the term means.
- When Griphook is killed by Voldemort, the SWORD OF GRYFFINDORdisappears from his hands.
- ABERFORTH DUMBLEDORE doesn’t explain his brother’s backstory.
- When arriving at Hogwarts, Harry bursts into the GREAT HALL furious at Snape for standing in DUMBLEDORE’s place, even demanding that SNAPEtell everyone how he killed Dumbledore.
- PROFESSOR MCGONAGALL duels Snape in the Great Hall in front of the entire school before he turns to black “smoke”, smashing through a window.
- THE PROTECTIVE SHIELD the Professors place around the school disintegrates anything that attempt to run through it. During the beginning of the BATTLE OF HOGWARTS, it instantly kills 17 Death Eaters.
- During the start of the battle, Harry and Ginny kiss, the directors placed this in to show their relationship and love for each other.
- When Voldemort destroys the shield around Hogwarts, the ELDER WANDcracks a bit by the amount of power used.
- Both BELLATRIX and Snape create the largest DARK MARK over Hogwarts the Wizarding World has ever seen.
- Harry, through his connection to Voldemort, sees a memory of the GREY LADY at Hogwarts, making Harry realise that Ravenclaw is connected to one of Voldemort’s Horcruxes.
- Harry goes to RAVENCLAW TOWER alone and does not encounter theCARROWS in the common room. Amycus does not spit in McGonagall’s face.
- A scene is added in HOGWARTS where RON and HERMIONE enter theCHAMBER OF SECRETS to acquire a BASILISK’S FANG to destroy HUFFLEPUFF’S CUP.
- Ron and Hermione are nearly killed in the Chamber of Secrets when they are attacked by a tsumani created by Voldemort, as their “lives flashing before their eyes” they lean and kiss each other.
- A scene where Ron and Hermione are chased by NAGINI is added probably after the Chamber of Secrets scene.
- Some changes made for the Half-Blood Prince film, such as the circumstances of Harry hiding the POTIONS TEXTBOOK, may also result in some additions.
- VINCENT CRABBE doesn’t appear in the film due to the drug charges against actor JAMIE WAYLETT and GREGORY GOYLE will die in his place.[236]
- BLAISE ZABINI is present in the ROOM OF REQUIREMENT with DRACO and
Goyle as a replacement for Crabbe. He will likely play the same role Goyle does in the book, as it has been stated Goyle will take Crabbe’s role.
- FRED duels a Death Eater during the battle, and then gets disarmed, and cornered by many other Death Eaters. This is likely what leads to his death.
- Aberforth fends off hundreds of Dementors during the Battle of Hogwarts with a tidal wave patronus.
- LAVENDER BROWN is killed during the Battle by FENRIR GREYBACK.
- NIGEL WESPURT is killed during the Battle, and NEVILLE carries his body into the Great Hall. Clearly this is a substitute for COLIN CREEVEY, as he has been since the fourth film.
- The scene where McGonagall leads desks to battle is omitted from the film.
- DEATH EATERS burn down the HOGWARTS QUIDDITCH PITCH.
- BUCKBEAK, CENTAURS and HOUSE-ELVES don’t appear during the Battle.
- The final battle between Harry and Voldemort will be extended, and while other parts of the second phase of the Battle of Hogwarts will be shown, the primary focus will be centered on Harry and Voldemort.
- Once Harry reveals himself, Voldemort locks Harry up asking how he escaped death, after Harry tells him Voldemort lets him out. This causes their chase around many different places in Hogwarts.
- Nagini is not in a protective sphere.
- Snape’s death will not take place in the SHRIEKING SHACK, but in “a CRYSTAL HOUSE” that can see the BOATHOUSE and the castle burning. SNAPE at the Crystal House instead of the SHRIEKING SHACK.Art director Andrew Ackland-Snow explained why: “We wanted to change a bit where Snape dies. In the book, he dies in the Shrieking Shack, and we wanted to get him out from, not a conventional interior, but from that kind of box, to do it in a more dramatic atmosphere. We asked J.K. if she agreed for that to happen in there […] and she loved it. Besides, it’s a very romantic place to die. Snape dies in a extremely good way, I gotta say”.[237]
- Voldemort slashes Snape’s throat open with the Elder Wand usingSECTUMSEMPRA, before ordering Nagini to “finish him”. Nagini’s attack is not seen, but Snape’s screams are heard and the windows of the Crystal House are splattered with his blood as Harry, Ron and Hermione watch on in horror.
- Voldemort attacks the Great Hall from the Boathouse, causing it to burn and collapse.
- SCABIOR duels Neville on the COVERED BRIDGE, and is killed when half of the bridge collapses. SNAPE in front of GODRIC’S HOLLOW.
- A scene is added in Snape’s flashback where he comes to GODRIC’S HOLLOW, after Lily and James were killed in 1981, to see them dead even collapsing when seeing Lily dead, he cradles her in his arms then sees Harry sitting in his crib watching on.
- Harry tells Ron and Hermione that he is a Horcrux, and that he must die. Hermione tells him that she suspected so all along.
- Instead of Harry being naked when arriving at KING’S CROSS he is instead fully clothed, he also sees Voldemort in the image of a red, slimy breathing thing.
- HAGRID does not place Harry’s dead “corpse” on the ground, he instead leaps out of Hagrid’s arms ready to fight, while NARCISSA MALFOY was looking for signs of life but finding none until Harry leaps out of Hagrid’s arms.
- Harry and Voldemort falling during Battle of Hogwarts,
Harry grabs Voldemort and throws them both off of the roof of the castle, they nearly reach the bottom when Voldemort apparates them both away.
- Ginny will see Harry and Voldemort falling off the cliff.
- MOLLY kills Bellatrix with the AVADA KEDAVRA CURSE.
- Harry and Voldemort duel at the ENTRANCE COURTYARD instead of the Great Hall.
- After being struck with the Killing Curse, Voldemort turns to ash, and crumbles apart in a similar manner to QUIRRELL in Philosopher’s Stone.Harry and Voldemort’s final duel at the Entrance Courtyard instead of the Great Hall.
- After the conclusion of the battle. Harry, Ron and Hermione stand on the remains of the COVERED BRIDGE discussing the events of the past year. Harry snaps the ELDER WAND in two and throws it over the side.
I just found this one somebody else's blog, though. But yeah

| Whoa. I only read about half of them but they were making me upset so I skipped over some. xD I've gotten used to the movie changing things but I don't like a lot of the changes that were made. - Spoiler:
Especially all the weird stuff going on between Harry and Voldemort...neither of them would chase each other around, they just want to finish it once and for all. Also the fact that even though they're making the battle scene much longer they can't seem to find room to put the house elves and centaurs in? This saddens me. And I guessed they weren't gonna include Dumbledore's back story since they skipped over it all during Part I but it still upsets me a bit...

| I know, right?! D: - Spoiler:
They chopped the 7th book in two movies but then they've been cutting off and altering a LOT of things we want/expect to see. >.>
And about the centaurs and house-elves, well maybe they don't want to show violence against creatures? Nah, I do kid. xD Though, getting back to the seriousness of it, I found it...erm...I'm not sure if the word rubbish would be correct for it...that they cannot put in them lots that are in the book but have the kissing scene thingies that aren't. >.>
Sad to say, though. Unfortunately for us all, movies are well-known to be notorious with butchering Rowling books.

| Maybe it's because I haven't read the book in awhile or because I've been up for so long but I don't think what their changing is that much. - Spoiler:
Well except the House Elves and other creatures coming to help. I kinda think it's awesome that the "Protective Shield" will instantly kill 17 death eaters. Come on, doesn't that sound like something they needed all along???
I'll be sobbing in the death of Snape. T-T I'm already crying about it right now. And listening to "Vanilla Sky" by OwlCity isn't helping.
I might be wrong but didn't Molly kill Bellatrix in the remember. I clearly remember "You B^%$#!" and then them fighting. Didn't she kill her?

| Okay, so I've seen it yesterday and this is, some of what I had been while watching ----that I remember, since I'm already positive that I'm forgetting a part. xD - Spoiler:
I cried at these parts BIG TIME: - Snape's Death. I wanted to kill Nagini myself at that scene and was fighting the urge to yell "Dammit Harry!! Why are you just sitting there?!" lol I know, I know, I over-reacted inside and all. xDD Anyway, so I was already tearing myself out at that, obviously, MUCH MORE when Harry get in and tried to extend his life. *sniffles now while typing* D: HE CRIED! I could have sworn that I won't go uwah-uwah silently if he didn't shed tears! Plus his gesturing to take his tears, I went, "No, please Snape, don't die!!" TBH, I was half expecting that they decided to keep Snape alive in the movie. LOLOLOL
- Snape's Memory. Specifically the scene where he's hugging Lily's body in Godric's and EVERYTHING ELSE WHERE HE CRIES! TT_TT I felt all his love for Lily in all of his "crying" scenes.
- Lavender Brown's death. D: IDK why this part's included in those where I cried. I'm not sure but maybe because at the very beginning of the movie I've already put my shoes "into" the movie as if I'm in every scene as well (which is a bit literal, too, 'cause I watched it in 3D). Or maybe because she has been a semi-like main character? Or it's just that whoever in the story doesn't deserve to be killed, especially by a freakin' ugly-looking vampy (or wolfy, if that's Fenrir and I missed out his facial details)! lol
- Fred, Remus and Tonks. When harry walked his way through the hall and saw the Weasleys huddled around Fred's body, I was still. then, George hugged him, and I cried. D: And yes, more when the camera focused Remus and Tonks, next. Evil cameraman. TT_TT
Others//Random: [list][*]I gasped, laughed and gaped at the Hermione and Ron moment at the Chamber of Secrets. [*]I went all, "Boo-yah" at Griphook when I found him lying on the Gringgotts floor. [*]I love the Potter kids. :D [*]I found Neville's speech, Disney-like, in an itsy-bitsy way. o.O [*]Double Boo-yah at Bellatrix's death. I think it went all too short and easy, though. But yeah, still a Boosh! XD
I'll add more this weekend maybe after I manage to see it again. >:D EDIT: THEY SHOULD DO THIS!! WARNING FOR SOME SPOILER. xD <iframe width="425" height="349" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/oqZ4GBGyskE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

| Subject: Re: Deathly Hallows Part II Sat Jul 16 2011, 19:37 | |
| Before I start, I want to say that this film was amazing. - Spoiler:
I loved it and I cried. I think this movie was extremely brilliant. I'll start off with what I hated first though. Hated: - -Percy not being mentioned
- -There was no mention of the Bloody Baron/Grey Lady story
- -Voldemort not telling Neville they needed someone like him and Neville shouting WHEN HELL FREEZES OVER DUMBLEDORE'S ARMY!
- -Harry not repairing his wand before breaking the elder wand
- -How Neville acted like he loved Luna (I support them, but it shouldn't have been made like that)
- -Goyle dying for Crabbe (even though I get why it was made like that)
- -Dean not being captured with the others to be at Shell Cottage
- -No mention of Teddy Lupin (even though he was casted for the 19 years later)
I know that seems like a lot, but that's not compared to my list of what I loved. Loved: - -Hermione/Bella scene, it was funny and held close to the book
- -Griphook dying and betraying them the way he did
- -Snape's memories. This was the most AMAZING scene ever. I assume that it was Rickman as the younger Snape when he told Dumbledore to hide them. I have never seen anything that amazing. It was perfect. I cried so much through this scene. I loved how the Godric's Hallow scene was added and how Snape just held her while crying. The "Always" scene was my favorite (although, I would have preferred a bit more emotion, this was amazing!)
- - I love the scene where Voldemort and Harry jump off the bridge/building. I thought it was great and I have no idea why everyone hated this part.
- -Neville's moment. It was perfect and it had me on the edge of my seat waiting for it
- -The Grey Lady, besides that one part missing, she was perfect and she looked exactly how I pictured her
- -Ginny (Bonnie) was a lot better in this movie...I love how she screamed when she saw his body in Hagrid's arms
- -The most expected kiss: Ron and Hermione! I hate them together, but this was just to much AWW for me
- -Mcgonagall. She is just amazing and the fact that Dame Maggie Smith was battling cancer/chemo throughout the movie and how well she played the role while going through this was just amazing
- -Fred's death...how they acted about it
- -Narcissa. She is, and always will be, the best mother ever. She lied to the Dark Lord to save her son and I love when Harry exposed himself, she took Draco and left and Lucius followed behind, it was wonderful
- -Aberforth Dumbledore and his sister's picture....they are exactly how I pictured them
- -Hermione and Ron trying to get Nagini to chase them so they could kill her
- -Voldemort speaking to everyone
- -At the very end, I loved the chocolate frog on the window, it brought me back to the beginning, made me cry all over again
- -The forest scene...when Lily said "Always" it made me think of Snape
- -Lily Luna Potter and the younger Lily Evans
- -Hogwarts being destroyed
- -Ralph's acting for Voldemort being destroyed
- -Emma, as always. Amazing.
- -Rupert did better at this film and the first part also. I loved his acting and how he shouted "THAT'S MY GIRLFRIEND!" and the goofy smile Hermione gave
- -Molly Weasley...amazing, but she could have put just a bit more emotion when she said "not my daughter you b***h"
There is tons more I loved, but to mentioned them all would be the whole movie basically. It had me in tears. It was just completely amazing, the acting was better and some parts got under my skin, but for the most part, it stayed completely true to the book. I was upset about the diadem being destroyed a bit wrong, but it was okay for me. I didn't care to much for how Voldemort's body was destroyed, but it was okay again. I would have loved to see Remus and Tonks die because it would have added more emotion to it. I just really loved Snape in this movie because he was one of my favorites, I never thought he was bad and his undying love for Lily was just amazing. I think seeing the ending really made me realize that the series is truly over. Although they looked a bit old to be in their 30's, Bonnie was the only one who looked her real age (as in her real age in life). I went into the theaters expecting it to be horrible because of all the things I have heard, only to come out completely amazed and depressed about it ending. Nothing will ever compare to this series, in my opinion, and for it to be over is just....heartbreaking to me. I'm way to passionate about this, but this was my childhood that kept me from doing something I would regret.

I almost cried in that part and THAT IS the first time I saw Snape crying. It really touched my heart.. From now on, I always wish that Snape and Lily was paired than Lily and James andd... Anybody who have waited for the Hermione and Ron's kiss?
