The Dark Knight Rises

Okay, so this isn't a place to talk about the horrible shooting that happened in Colorado, which was both heartbreaking and chilling, that happened at a midnight premiere, but a place to instead talk about the movie.

This movie was brilliant, I'm just going to start out saying that. It was amazing from the acting to the directing, just everything. I saw it last night and I was blown away just by how great the film was. It had it's twists and turns and just was pretty much perfect. I really enjoyed the additions, in particular, of Anne Hathaway's Catwoman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt's John Blake. Not to even mention Tom Hardy as Bane, which was perfect because he just played the crap out of that part.

It was a bit of an Inception reunion, hard to miss that, but as I loved that film it made it more perfect in my eyes.

I think I'm going to see this today! Pretty excited even though my youth pastor just told me she was terrified the whole time and we're usually pretty similar about how we view movies.

I didn't even know Anne Hathaway was in it. O.o

And I too love the Inception cast, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

EDIT::: SO GOOOOOOOD. Not as good as the second one, but that's only because Heath Ledger's performance for the second movie was phenomenal and there was just no way to beat that/Bane was like a less cool version of Darth Vader with his little mask thing. Despite some plotholes here and there, the movie was very entertaining, and I agree, Hathaway did a fantastic job! Joseph Gordon-Levitt has once again proved himself to be an amazing member of a cast and was easily my favorite character in this movie.

Unrelated to the movie, but the Superman trailer had Lord of the Rings music playing! *geek spasm*

I actually think that I liked this one just as much as the second one. I agree that Heath Ledger did the best Joker ever, but I admire Tom Hardy as Bane too. Like, the whole story was awesome. And the twists were super epic too, it had me gasping each time it didn't go as expected.

Tom Hardy was amazing as Bane, and the storyline was good, but I haven't seen the first movie in so long (not even sure I've seen the whole thing to be honest...which is wierd...and must be remedied immediately) so since some of the things related back I wasn't always positive where they were coming from.
