The Lizzie Bennet Diaries

So, this is qualified as a TV show even though it's just on the internet and it's so much more than a TV show. The Lizzie Bennet Diaries is a whole experience, where the story of Pride and Prejudice is modernized and the characters are a part of 'the real world'. It takes places through Lizzie's vlogs (although there are spinoffs which expand the story and make it even better) which are between 3 and 5 minutes and are published twice a week. The characters have twitters, tumblrs and various other spaces in the web where fans can interact with them. Plus, the story is happening in real time and right now we're at the height of all the drama.

It's the most amazing thing that has ever happened (okay, maybe not but I'm in full out fangirl mode). If you haven't watched it, you need to because your life will be forever better. Also, all the actors and actresses are amaaaaaaaazing. They will blow you away, I promise.

I've included the first episode to drag you down with me, if you have yet to watch it. Because it's better than just modernizing, it's expanding the story and making it all the more awesome.

OMG YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES. So my friend Nicole had been bothering me to watch this for months now, and I know you recommended it to me as well, so I finally started watching a week ago, and I'm already caught up and IT'S SO GOOD BAKRJEAKBTEJAKREALTENAREA

Lol Count me on board too! I actually started watching this a few weeks ago and have already rewatched it several times since xD I especially love all the tweets and stuff they have in between the episodes, too. So much thought and planning must have gone into this.

It's just so awesome. Wednesdays have now become my least favorite weekday because there isn't anything to fill them except tweets and stuff. It's crazy that I'm so wrapped up in a story that I already 'know'.

In non-spoiler news. LBD won two streamys! True, they were the pre-announced ones, but still! It won for Best Comedy Writer (Bernie Su) and for Best Interactive Program. And though it didn't win Best Ensemble Cast, in my heart they still are the best.
