this episode is literally Taken but I'm 100% okay with this.

And i'm glad they alluded to that in the promo for next week so it didn't come as a surpsie

and nathan fillion's acting was STUPENDOUS. I cried in many a scene here....WAH!

LIKE WHAT THE HECK?!

I CAN'T DEAL WITH THE FEELS ABOUT THIS EPISODE. Alexis is the best and now I'm terrified for her because of the fact that there is just no way of knowing what is going to happen next!

The fact that this is how we meet Castle's father is not lost upon me, but it is NOT what I wanted. This is not how I want to find out about him.

ALSO, SOME PEOPLE ARE CRAZY ENOUGH TO BLAME THIS ALL ON ALEXIS. Like, they hate her so much that they're like, "It's all your fault." In fact, some people hate Alexis enough that they didn't watch the episode, which is a complete loss on them because it is one of the most amazing of the whole series, hands down.

Whoa whoa whoa, how do you hate Alexis? She's so cute and adorable and lovely! And admittedly, she put it on the internet where she was going, but come on, tons of people do that, and it's not like they couldn't have gotten them another way if they really are trained professionals. You can't blame getting kidnapped like this on someone, it's not their fault! Honestly though, I can't believe anyone would hate her, she's awesome!

Yeah, the father thing came out of NOWHERE. I don't know if I'm forgetting something from an earlier season but what in the world does Castle's father have to do with an of this?

I know! But people have been hating Alexis because they don't think of her as helping the Caskett relationship and because Molly once made a comment that at first Alexis probably wouldn't take the start of the relationship very seriously because her dad has been in and out of so many of them. I remember there was a crazy thing on Tumblr about hating Alexis and Molly for that. It was stupid.

And I've seen many sarcastic posts about her with her vlog, but as you said plenty of people do it and nothing happens to them. It's not like she lays out her whole life and schedule, she didn't deserve to be kidnapped.

Rumor is that Castle's dad is a spy and that's how he ties into everything. It's making people think that Alexis might have been the target all along and everything else is a red herring.

Not cool to be hating on Alexis and Molly. Not cool at all. And just to continue your point about the vlog thing, plenty of people (including the ones who are probably mad at her for it), post updates on facebook, tumblr and twitter and such about where they're going, especially when it's something exciting like going to see their idol. So again, no blame there.

Ooooo, I could totally see Daddy Castle being a spy, and it wouldn't surprise me if Alexis was the target the whole time, but what's the motive? To get back at her grandfather then?

I know, stupid people.

And that's the popular theory, that it has to do with Castle's dad (who we got a hint to with Sophia and her statement about Castle's Dad before she was totes going to kill Castle) and that's why Alexis was the one being targeted and why they looked on her blog in the first place to find out where she'd be. The only thing that makes me doubtful is the fact that they were speaking Arabic, which does hint to Sarah instead.
