"Chaser," Katie said nervously and watched as one of the dummies disappeared.

Katie was really starting to get frustrated. The game had been going on for at least twenty minutes now and still no one had even gotten close to scoring a goal. The chasers lack of skill was making it difficult for Katie to make any real plays (not that she was an expert herself) and the professional level beaters were taking every opportunity to thwart the less than perfect chasers. The seekers were also struggling to put a quick end to the game because the sun kept hiding the snitch.

Every time Katie got the Quaffle, she was almost immediately assaulted by the opposing beaters, and would have to drop the Quaffle or risk injury more serious than a hit to the stomach. To make matters worse, the brightness of the sun was masking the bludgers, making them extra hard to predict. The only good news was that the enemy chasers were having just as much difficulty moving the Quaffle themselves.

Suddenly, an idea came to Katie. Maybe she could use the sun and her own beaters to her advantage. She quickly scanned the field until she located one of the Hufflepuff beaters. She flew over until she was directly in line with the beater.

"Fly with me," she called, and obediently the dummy followed her like her own private body guard. She looked up at the sky to see where the sun was. If she could just fly into the sun on her way to the goalpost, the other team might not even see her coming until it was too late. First, however, she'd have to get the Quaffle.

Another quick survey of the field revealed the Quaffle in the hands of the Hufflepuff team after the other beater had smashed the enemy dummy full on. She and her beater protector flew over to the action.

"Pass to me," she called. The dummy attempted it's best pass but missed by quite a few feet. The ball began to plummet back to the ground. Katie followed in a tight dive, grabbing the Quaffle with hand and pulling her broom back up.

The whooshing sound of a bludger was growing louder but the beater dummy took care of it with one big smack in the other direction.

Alright, time to climb, thought Katie. She flew higher and higher towards the sun, as well as towards the enemy goal posts. The beater follow suit and she could see the other chasers down below heading to the goal post as well. She could see the Keeper looking up at her below, and was hoping the sun was bright enough that the dummy couldn't quite locate where she was.

When Katie entered the scoring area, she plunged downwards towards the right post. It seemed the sun had done the trick as the Keeper didn't locate her until it was too late. With one big toss, Katie tossed the Quaffle through the hoop.

"Hufflepuff scores!" she heard the announcer yell.

"Yes," Katie yelled, pumping her fist in the air. The first points of the game had finally been scored.

HUFFLEPUFF CHASER

Katie was wrestling the Quaffle out of the arms of the opposing chasers. She was relieved when the sound of an approaching bludger was met instead with the heavy thwack of a Hufflepuff beater bat, and the bludger went careening off towards the assaulter instead.

With one last little elbow, and one large tug, Katie had the Quaffle within her possession.

Katie leaned forward on her broom propelling herself towards the enemy goal posts. Two opposing chasers were closing in on her. She looked around for an opening to one of the other chasers, but found her way blocked both ways.

"Get open!" Katie yelled in frustration at the two Hufflepuff dummies.

Luckily, one of the beaters must have heard her, because the next thing she knew a bludger was hit right towards one of the opposing chasers, who had to scatter out of the way, leaving an opening big enough for Katie to toss the Quaffle to her now open chaser.

The Hufflepuff chaser successfully caught it after a minor fumble and began flying off. The enemy chasers were regrouping for another attack. Katie weaved in and out around them, not letting them pin her down in any one spot.

When she had broken free, she called out for the chaser to pass it back. The dummy lobbed it over to her and she caught it, just as a bludger forced the dummy to scatter.

Katie was nearing the scoring area, but could tell she was on her own for now, and decided she better try a new move if she was going to avoid the enemy chasers and beaters closing in on her.

Katie clutched the Quaffle tighter to her chest and held on tightly to her broom with the other hand. Then she lurched her body sideways and went into a tight spin: The Corkscrew. Designed to prevent enemy chasers from being able to reach the Quaffle due to the fact it was rotating too frequently to grab, it was a difficult move to perform, as one was likely to accidentally turn themselves around or get too dizzy and fall of their broom.

Katie could see the hoops once every rotation getting closer and closer. She could tell she was getting dizzy, which worried her for the upcoming throw. When the goalposts looked close enough, she came out of the spin and threw the Quaffle towards the right goal post....and watched it sail too far out of the way of the post, as she had compensation from the leftover momentum from the spinning.

Dizzy, Katie slowly spun her broom around to begin chasing back after the Quaffle.

Katie was ready to go on a rampage. No matter how good of a play she tried to make, it felt like the other Hufflepuff chasers were intentionally trying to sabotage her. They didn't understand, or at least couldn't preform, even the simplest of maneuver, and when they weren't dropping the Quaffle, they were being chased off by bludgers leaving Katie completely alone. While the other team's chasers weren't great either, when it was three against one, and dangerously aimed bludgers were flying at her head, it made for one frustrating game.

With the help of her Hufflepuff beaters, Katie had regained the Quaffle and began flying back towards the enemy goal post.

"Come on, faster! Get open!" Katie called over her shoulder to the two dummies behind her. They seemed to go mildly faster but not by much.

Katie rolled her eyes, and was then forced to drop ten feet suddenly to avoid a bludger. With pleasure, she saw one of the Hufflepuff beaters knock the bludger right back at the assaulter out of the corner of her eye.

She was nearing the goalpost and would definitely need to pass the Quaffle off to another chaser, in order to confuse the keeper. She looked behind her and could see one of her fellow chasers quickly approaching. Finally, she thought. Someone's actually going to help.

They were almost even at this point.

"Spread out!" Katie called over to the dummy. They weren't going to confuse the chaser if they were right next to each other.

Just then, one of the enemy beaters knocked a bludger towards the dummy. Instead of dropping down, or swerving in the other direction, the Hufflepuff chaser instead careened towards Katie and knocked into her hard, forcing her to drop the Quaffle in order to stay on her broom, holding on for dear life.

"You useless, worthless, stupid piece of garbage," she screeched at its emotionless face.
